I'v had a lot of Mexican food in my days but nothing beats Tacos Quintero. Best Authentic Mexican…read morefood in town. The tacos are nice fresh and crisp and have the real Mexico flavor that always brings me back for more. No body beats their food.

I was in the area visiting a different taco food truck when I noticed Tacos Quintero had a high…read moreoverall rating, but relatively few reviews. I decided to stop to try a couple of small things. They did a great job with the food truck appearance and the area surrounding the food truck. The food truck, with its purple base, and cool art, is eye-catching. There was outside seating, and although the seating wasn't fancy, it was welcoming. Service was efficient. The food had some good parts, but I didn't connect with it like I do with my favorite spots. I ordered a Carne Enchilada Taco (marinated pork pieces) and a Chicharron Gordita. The pork on the taco was tender, but the marinade was just OK for me. The other aspects of the taco were fine, although there was too much cilantro. A Gordita is made with corn masa, and like an arepa can be, is used to make a small sandwich. Chicharron is fried pork skin. When you see it, it usually is in a long strip with perpendicular slices. It reminds me a bit of a thicker well cooked bacon. The corn masa seemed well executed. I didn't like the flavor combo of the lettuce, cheese crumbles (I assume cotija) and Chicharron. Also, some parts of the Chicharron were very crispy and not enjoyable to chew. These aren't common orders for me. If I returned, I'd probably try different types of tacos like pastor, chorizo or bistec. Given TQ's overall rating, I would still recommend visiting. 3.75 Stars

Glad I stopped in! I needed a quick bite to eat and this place is close by. There's several fast…read morefood restaurants nearby but I wanted homemade. They make everything to order, I didn't mind waiting at all to have fresh food! I saw other people had called in orders and I would definitely suggest that if you're in a rush. I got the taco salad which was excellent, loaded with veggies and it had fresh corn which was actually cut off a cob. The pickled onions were phenomenal, the best I've had. I added chicken, the tortilla shell was fried perfectly and delicious, kind of hard to see it in the picture because it was such a great portion. I also got three chorizo tacos which were very tasty, and the bigger size not the tiny tiny ones other places serve. I like my chorizo crispy so next time I'll ask for it well done. Everything was $23 with tax, great price for enough food for lunch and dinner! Definitely will stop in again.

Only right up the road, but The quesadilla was really soggy heavy and it took 20 minutes longer than the time they told us it would be ready so those are the only downsides, but maybe give them another chance in the future with ordering one of their heavier options !

Tequila's food is always on point. It always hits harder than your cousin's karaoke performance…read moreafter a couple of margaritas. However, inside interior is outdated. It gives abuela's dining room that hasn't changed since 1996 vibes. If the decor had a MySpace it will be playing Gasolina on its page. However, you come here for the flavor fiesta. Service is always superb as well. The waiter this time around was observant & bubbly. He kept cracking jokes like if it was open mic comedy night. There was Spanish music playing on speakers. I was vibing & almost got up to start dancing like I was in a mariachi band. My go to meal is the La Parrillada. It consists of grilled pork(really bacon),chicken, & steak(I always add on shrimp),Mexican sauce served w/ rice, refried beans(umm, umm w/ cheese on top),lettuce, avocado slices, & corn tortillas . I minus the pico de gallo sauce(I'm not a fan of onions yeah I know,I know but it's my nemesis like Superman w/ kyptonite). My food took a little bit to come out but I munched on the complimentary chips & salsa. When my food arrived I was ready to devour like a T-Rex dinosaur. I made myself tacos w/ the corn tortillas like a professional Lego building master. I packed it up w/ rice, beans,& meats/shrimp. It was mouth watering! I felt like a vampire drooling over a victim(like the Sinners movie). Ha,ha! They're famous for their signature drinks. You can get a regular sized or super sized drink(like if you were in a '90's Mickey D's). They have a full bar w/ anything you desire. From wine to beer to mixed drinks & more! Overall,gr8 experience! I just wish the interior was updated. It has so much potential. Also, I almost forgot to mention there is a fee if you use credit card & 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. I didn't mind the added gratuity b/c I always tip 20% anyways but the credit card fee is always bummer. I hardly carry cash.

I decided to start off with a Cosmopolitan, and later got a Pomtini, but since they didn't have Pomegranate Juice, I had it replaced with Cranberry Juice. Both were still really tasty, and my favorite part was the sugar on the rim, made it taste so good. I got some Elotes, honestly they were okay, the corn was more on the undercooked side, a lil hard. The wings were actually pretty good, the meat was juicy. I had a lava cake for dessert and it was pretty tasty too. I also had the nachos w/chicken recently since I stopped by again, but didn't take a picture. Honestly, those were eh, the nachos got soggy really fast and weren't crunchy, so that was disappointing. Overall everything came out pretty fast, I wasn't waiting very long. Leo was an amazing bartender, great conversation. Again, the vibe was great and I even made some acquaintances out of it, we all shared a shot together! Great vibes, and would definitely stop by again.
