We recently came back through the area and changed our route to come back! The shrimp tacos are enormous and packed with flavor. Even though it's consistently busy, they do a great job keeping the line moving, the wait wasn't long at all. Highly recommend, totally worth the detour if you are in the area!

The person working, who I assume may have been Hugo, was very nice and helpful. They serve tacos, tortas, tamales, burritos, quesadillas, soups and salads. They listed various meats on the menu, but on this day, they only only had Pastor, Lengua (beef tongue) and shredded chicken. I ordered one taco of each and a Passion Fruit Agua Fresca. The tortillas were very good. Each taco came with cilantro, onions and a shredded mild cheese. They also gave me Salsas Rojo and Verde, and a white container that I assume was sour cream. I don't normally order chicken or Lengua, but I thought they were well executed. The pastor didn't seem like pastor. It tasted good, but it seemed more like a pork sausage. It was lacking that trademark pastor marinade flavor. The salsas were both good. Hugo's is definitely a legit taco truck and I would return. 4.5 Stars.

They did a great job with the food truck appearance and the area surrounding the food truck. The food truck, with its purple base, and cool art, is eye-catching. There was outside seating, and although the seating wasn't fancy, it was welcoming. Service was efficient. The food had some good parts, but I didn't connect with it like I do with my favorite spots. I ordered a Carne Enchilada Taco (marinated pork pieces) and a Chicharron Gordita. The pork on the taco was tender, but the marinade was just OK for me. The other aspects of the taco were fine, although there was too much cilantro. A Gordita is made with corn masa, and like an arepa can be, is used to make a small sandwich. Chicharron is fried pork skin. When you see it, it usually is in a long strip with perpendicular slices. It reminds me a bit of a thicker well cooked bacon. The corn masa seemed well executed. I didn't like the flavor combo of the lettuce, cheese crumbles (I assume cotija) and Chicharron. Also, some parts of the Chicharron were very crispy and not enjoyable to chew. These aren't common orders for me. If I returned, I'd probably try different types of tacos like pastor, chorizo or bistec. Given TQ's overall rating, I would still recommend visiting. 3.75 Stars

I added chicken, the tortilla shell was fried perfectly and delicious, kind of hard to see it in the picture because it was such a great portion. I also got three chorizo tacos which were very tasty, and the bigger size not the tiny tiny ones other places serve. I like my chorizo crispy so next time I'll ask for it well done. Service is always superb as well. The waiter this time around was observant & bubbly. He kept cracking jokes like if it was open mic comedy night. There was Spanish music playing on speakers. It consists of grilled pork(really bacon),chicken, & steak(I always add on shrimp),Mexican sauce served w/ rice, refried beans(umm, umm w/ cheese on top),lettuce, avocado slices, & corn tortillas . I minus the pico de gallo sauce(I'm not a fan of onions yeah I know,I know but it's my nemesis like Superman w/ kyptonite). Overall,gr8 experience! I just wish the interior was updated. It has so much potential. Also, I almost forgot to mention there is a fee if you use credit card & 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. I didn't mind the added gratuity b/c I always tip 20% anyways but the credit card fee is always bummer. I hardly carry cash.

I decided to start off with a Cosmopolitan, and later got a Pomtini, but since they didn't have Pomegranate Juice, I had it replaced with Cranberry Juice. The wings were actually pretty good, the meat was juicy. I had a lava cake for dessert and it was pretty tasty too. I also had the nachos w/chicken recently since I stopped by again, but didn't take a picture. Honestly, those were eh, the nachos got soggy really fast and weren't crunchy, so that was disappointing.
