Perfect little roadside stop. Deliciously seasoned meat for our tacos (asada, pastor, pollo, and chorizo). You cannot beat the price for the quality and perfection of these tacos. The pastor was my initial favorite until he brought out an extra chorizo for us to try! Highly recommend popping in if you're in the area or just passing through! A sign said cash only but I believe other patrons were paying with a card. There were quite a few covered tables to sit and enjoy the meal before hopping back in the car. I have been going to this taco truck for about a year it started out really great, the tacos were always good sauce to meat ratio and not to spicy unless you ask for it. They have 2 locations one on California street and the other on 29th and Kansas. I am not sure why but the one on 29th is no longer operating. Anywho the food was great and service was fast enough as long as you got there before lunch rush. So my reason for 3 stars well the food was great when it was a man and woman I assume to be husband and wife was working the truck, when she is there then food is awesome, however lately the man has only been there working with another man who I assume could be his brother or cousin. But when they are there the tacos taste a little dry and they over the tortillas and they do not give much peppers or toppings. So my advice is if you wanna have a great experience try and catch when the lady is there otherwise eat at your own risk. read more

5 stars for the cuerito taco with some salsa verde *chefs kiss* The other food I ordered I took home and I think the 15min wait wrapped in foil is what knocked some points off the torta cubana (my bread was not crisp anymore, likely from the steam.) I'm Mexican and just moved to Topeka from Texas, so I have been hesitant about trying Mexican food up here. I'm SO happy to have found this truck and will definitely be back. I didn't realize it was a Food truck, I just stopped based on the reviews. I was NOT disappointed! Hubby had a torta al pastor, I ordered a tostada de carne asada and kiddo had a chicken taco. The taco we ordered plain, so I don't know what it would normally look like. The tostada was amazing. It was piled high with lettuce, cheese, jalapeños and some really delicious spicy crema.
