On this day I visited a place that I've received positive reviews. The place in question is the food truck, "Tacos El Dany". My recommendation is to check before hand the opening time. From the beginning you find a place to park and you walk to the seating area which is very welcoming with the trees and the lights. But let's get the point, the food, as you get closer to the food truck you see the menu and mostly there's a person who takes your order who is very kind and helpful in guiding you on your decision and as you walk closer you can pay and let them know if you will be eating there or taking it home. As you look at the menu you see abundance of food options. If you choose to eat there, they normally bring you the food and afterwards help clear your table. On this day I chose the five small tacos option, and I had the bistec, al pastor and chorizo. They came with grilled onions and a hot jalapeño. They also have some salsa to enhance the flavor of the food you have chosen. The tacos were delicious the flavors were excellent. You can't go wrong with this place. I finally found a big burrito truck I've been craving since I moved from California in New Braunfels and is up the street from me open until 1am everything else shut down so early so I ordered a steak burrito extra cheese and beans. And we got a beef quesadilla and a drink melon drink They didn't have rice and they said they was out of Horchata at the last minute. She came and brought me Horchata and oh my God the burrito is so flavorful I definitely will come back. read more

I think the food is good and it's authentic, I think it's pretty overpriced. They said I was getting the large tacos but when I looked at what I got that didn't feel like it was very large. I recommend the al Pastor taco. It's much more moist and flavorful. I also tried the beef and it was okay. If they had significantly more meat in the tacos, I think they would rate more highly. read more

I honestly feel kind of lucky. The Taco Truck down my street has became my go to spot on Friday's. They open up at 7pm and there is always a line, but their system is honestly great. By the time your through the line your food is shortly ready. I think you should always get your go to Mexican food order. I've tried almost all the options and my favorite is the Al Pastor Burrito with everything in it and mild salsa added. Pro tip: Get some of the Jalapeño Salsa on the tables. That's the best salsa they make IMO. Though you might consider it spicy. read more

Great food. Everything in the menu is great and served very fresh. Very friendly staff and easy to order.

So, so excited to try this place. We went on Friday evening as they were opening, and there was a LONG line 20 minutes before they opened. So, I ordered 2 bistec mini tacos, and a bistec volcan. So... I got 2 mini tacos that were NOT bistec, and no volcan. I'm a picky eater, so I had my hubby the Hispanic try mine. He's used to his moms, and sisters food. He couldn't even tell what kind of meat, but no flavor. He ordered the 5 suadero mini tacos, he ate 1, said no flavor and rough, not tender like it's supposed to be. Their aguacate sauce was the ONLY good thing we got. So, after getting home, we turned back around and came back to town and got Chicken Express. It's sad when Chicken Express is better than the taco truck everyone raves about. I'll give 5 and credit when due, but unfortunately, I can't do that for this place. Check your order before leaving, and at least you get what you paid for. read more
