Carnitas is slow cooked pork, which is soft and tender and then it is grilled to give it crispy edges as well. It came served on a double stack corn tortilla. The tortillas are on the small side of the range of street taco tortilla sizes that I see but they were very tasty and they have been nicely fried. They were also very full of meat, they did not skimp on the proteins. Each taco is also topped with onions and cilantro. I was offered red and green salsa and I tried the green salsa which did have a little bit of spiciness, but also provided a lot of freshness and good flavor. The Carnitas taco was actually my favorite although the Carne Asada tacos were good too.
