    Chile Verde Burrito
    Jordan K.

Friendly lady at the counter took my to go order and in less than 5 minutes my chile verde burrito was ready. The burrito price was $9.25. The hot sauce has a tingly kick and smokiness flavor. Overall a decent burrito with a the right amount of meat and fillers. The shop is small with about seating for 15.

This place is ass. One star tacos are tiny, dry and flavorless. Burrito was ok. Pico de gallo is literally the worst we've ever had. I'm fairly certain the chips and the guac in the non-refillable chips & guacamole plate are from Costco. A real banger. Bathroom is clean, otherwise they'd get only one star. Avoid.

First when parking they have a beautiful mural on the entrance of the restaurant. Very friendly hostess. You order food at counter. The food was on point. Just like home. I ordered Lengua Tacos oh my delicious and the meat was tender. My daughter had Cheese Enchiladas. She devoured them. The only thing I could say negative is the place is small. Luckily we got a table. But within a few minutes it was packed. But we were there just before lunch time.

Yooo!! This place is it. After getting our breakfast scone stolen by an aggro teenaged seagull at Scout, we ventured here. Not gonna lie the amazing aroma coming from the restaurant as we walked to our online coffee pickup had us, but the service from Gabi will keep us coming back. Did I mention the breakfast burrito? Oh it's gasssss!!!

A friend who frequents this place recommended it to me. She described it as a small, unassuming spot with incredible food. After a long day in Morro, we decided to bring the boys here for a meal. The place was packed and very small, with a line out the door--a good sign of its popularity. Despite the busyness, the girl at the register was very friendly. We ordered three different kinds of tacos, an Asada burrito, a lengua wet burrito, and a bean burrito. The tacos were a bit dry, so my family might not order them again. The boys enjoyed the burritos, and I had a basic bean and cheese burrito, but only a few bites since I wasn't very hungry. There are many other places we haven't tried in Morro, so I can't say I'd rush back here. Maybe sometime in the future. 7/10/24

Taco de Mexico is cheap and good, a solid spot when you're craving a quick bite. I'd recommend the Taco de Colorado, it's my favorite! Not the best mexican food ever but does the job!

Food was hot and good. Fries were crisp. Horchata was yummy. Workers were nice. Burritos were full of ingredients. Asada, rice, beans, cilantro and onion, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.

Two years since the original review, wow. My go to is the Carnitas burrito wet, they put some shredded lettuce, avocado, sour cream, and a half slice of tomato. I love it and for $10 its a deal. Some mornings I'll go for a breakfast burrito which hasn't disappointed me yet. T usually gets a couple of street size chicken tacos (4")...okay always It can get busy at prime time, I call ahead but sometimes are too busy to answer so... be patient. I've always had a cheerful greeting when I get to the counter, a short wait too. It's a great family business. Foodguy-martin

I ordered the calamari tacos, and the portion was huge. The plate came loaded -- tacos with melted cheese, a fresh salad, and a side of unique "spaghetti-style" fries. The calamari itself was lightly breaded and very tasty, and I really enjoyed the salad (super fresh and flavorful). The fries weren't my favorite, though, and overall the portion was so big that I ended up leaving quite a bit -- which felt a bit wasteful. My husband had the Alaskan cod tacos, and I actually loved that they were not breaded -- that's my personal preference. The fish tasted fresh, light, and really well prepared. Our daughter ordered the kids chicken taco, and honestly, it was excellent -- loaded with chicken, very flavorful, and clearly made fresh. We also tried the tres leches cake. The slice was large but for me it was a bit too sweet, especially with the caramel on top and the thick whipped cream layer. I know there are many variations of tres leches, and this one just wasn't my favorite. We also had a crab cake -- fried on the outside, soft and delicious inside. Overall, a solid spot with big portions, fast service, and lots of flavor. Just come hungry!

Here's what we noticed: - The inside is pretty nice, lighter inside than you would expect from looking at it on the outside because of the skylights. The paint inside is a little tired and there's some cobwebs, etc. around but it still had a nice atmosphere. The chairs and tables are a bit tired, but ok. - The menu is pretty broad, and the prices seemed pretty reasonable. - My wife and I decided to split two different meals, the Al Pastor Burrito (which was served with a small salad) and the combo plate of Sofa and Chili Relleno. The portions on both dishes were really good, such that we took half the burrito home for later. The food was very tasty! - Service was just fine, although it was a pretty quiet time at lunch on a Thursday. Bottom line: This is a solid Mexican place, better than some in the area. We'll come back again, maybe to get take-out next time.

I waited patiently because I like their menudo, but only to find out that even though he confirmed Menudo on the phone he not heard soup.
