Simple little spot, good taste. We came to the park and left with tummy full of asada tacos!

Pastor Street tacos were soggy and huge chunk of fat in meat. Tasted good, but quality definitely diminished over last few years.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. I saw them on instagram and came from Discovery Bay…read morejust to try it. We were not disappointed. The service is friendly and the place is small , but nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. My birria burrito was the best I've had in a long time. (Although I had ordered a burrito bowl and received a regular burrito instead) The al pastor taco was amazing. My wife and daughter loved their super tacos too. Overall, it is a nice place and cool that it's near the library so parking is great. We will definitely be back.

We chose this spot because it said…read moreonline they were open until 9 p.m. It was only 8 p.m. so we tried to make an order online as we were driving but they said they were no longer taking orders online so we had to go into order and then wait. When we arrived, we ended up having to loop around a few times because parking here is very weird. This place is attached to the library with no actual parking in front of the business so you have to park at the library or park at the hotel across the street. As I got out of the car, I noticed some unhoused people and their dog sleeping in the library parking lot and the dog started to bark. We had our dog with us and needed to let her out to walk around the front of the business with us so that was nerve-wracking. We approached the front, since it also said they were dog friendly, but by 8:15 p.m. all the patio chairs had already been put away so we stood outside the doors while my husband went in and ordered and then continued to wait for the food. We got a premium burrito with carne asada and the burrito had a sweet flavor. There was pineapple inside it and the sweetness was odd to say the least. The only thing I liked about the burrito was that they grilled the outside so it was warm and had a nice crunch but the flavors were off in my opinion so my husband got stuck with the burrito. He was fine with it and gave it three stars. He liked that it was a good size and was full from beginning to end. I ended up with the quesabirria grilled cheese. It was also disappointing. The bread was toasted but super soggy. Soggy bread it the worst and it was strange because the consume was in a seperate container but there was just too much liquid in the meat. It was sticking to my hands and falling apart. Not that I needed it, but I did try the consumme and it was much thinner and runnier than I am used to. The flavor also wasn't great and biting into the raw chopped onions in the sandwich was not appetizing to me. This was not a great experience and as hungry as we were, we did not finish the food. We ended up getting another snack when we arrived in SF later that evening. I can't speak to the tacos here but U can definitely say I don't recommend coming her late, even if they are the only place in the area that is open.

I love this place, but this visit absolutely sealed the deal all over again…read more We ordered the carne asada super burrito and it was perfection. It was packed with flavorful, juicy meat and had the ideal ratio of beans, rice, and cheese -- every bite was balanced and satisfying. No skimpy filling here. Just a beautifully built burrito done right. The chips and guacamole were just as impressive. The chips came out hot, thin, and perfectly fresh -- that light crisp that shatters just right. The guacamole tasted bright and fresh, clearly made with care and real ingredients. We also tried the pastor torta, and wow. It was loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat, and the bread was soft, fresh, and toasted perfectly. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- exactly how a torta should be. Every component worked together so well. And the piña agua fresca? Super fresh and refreshing -- the perfect complement to everything we ordered. We come here often, but this time we switched it up and tried the burrito -- and it did not disappoint. This is easily one of the best taquerias in town. Consistently delicious, generous portions, and clearly made with pride. We'll definitely be back (soon!) to try the quesabirria. So grateful to have a spot like this in town.

This is an update to my previous review. I really wanted to continue supporting this establishment…read morebecause it's conveniently located and the food is good, but unfortunately the last few visits have been disappointing. I usually call my order in ahead of time, but yesterday a gentleman answered, put me on hold, and never came back to the phone. I ended up driving there and ordering three super carne asada burritos with no pico. The order was simple, and I paid $52. When I got home, all three burritos turned out to be regular burritos with only rice, beans, and meat. They were missing the ingredients that make them "super." I immediately called the restaurant, and the girl at the front--who already knows me because we're regular customers and we've had previous issues with incorrect orders and her attitude--answered the phone. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, she became defensive. She told me to bring the burritos back, but it was already late and I wasn't going to drive back out. She then said she was going to check the security cameras to see whether the cooks had added the ingredients, which made me feel like she was accusing me of lying. The problem wasn't just the incorrect order--it was how I was treated. Good customer service means listening to customers and handling mistakes professionally, not becoming hostile when someone calls about an order they paid for but didn't receive correctly. I hope the owner has an opportunity to see this review, as I'd like this feedback to help improve the customer experience. I truly wanted to continue supporting this business, but after multiple incorrect orders and the way this situation was handled, I won't be returning. My picture is below for reference.

I stopped by around closing time 3:30pm. The truck is located inside a lot so there is plenty of parking available, service was great. I picked up 2 super burritos $12 each (azada with extra sour cream) that is an additional $1 per burrito. I also order 3 handmade tortilla tacos $.50 additional per taco (azada, chicken, and pastor). I also order 3 drinks (horchata), the order came with a small bag of chips and salsa (I wish it was a bag per food item or meal ordered). My bill came up to $46; I should say that I was excited about the tacos 1 because of the price and 2 because I like to try food trucks and support small businesses. Once I got home, we found out that one of the super burritos had no sour cream at all; that was disappointing ( I didn't try the burritos since I am gluten free, but I was told it was ok as far as flavor). The tacos were for me and I think they were alright, the steak and al pastor meat didn't have much flavor in comparison to other tacos I had, plus the meat was on the dry side. On the other hand the chicken taco was surprisingly good, that was grilled yet it was juice- the marination of the chicken was good in my opinion. I always feel like you can't go wrong with a horchata, but it seems like we got the bottom of it, the drink was so grainy that we had to drain it. So I don't know if I will give it another try- seems like the quality of food was not there maybe because it was the end of the day since closing time is 4pm; but regardless of this (beginning or end) the food quality should be consistent- at least that's a dealbreaker for me.

AWESOME service, when the food was done she brought right to our car. Shrimp tacos are the best…read morearound. hands down!
