Tasty tacos just around the corner of Venice and Redondo! Made fresh to order, even the tortilla!
Everything was tasty and flavorful, and the sauces were perfect complements to the savory meat. Even though they didn't have lengua, which is always my go-to, their suadero/brisket helped fill that void a little as it was very tender and juicy. I also really liked the al pastor! Great smokey flavor plus the sweet pineapple. Carne asada was very meaty and a little on the drier side, but still good and perfect if you want a little less oily taco.
Love the toppings/sides they have! For someone who usually avoids cilantro, I appreciate they separated that from the onions! And love how they also have cucumbers!! So refreshing to have after a spicy bite. The marinated onions with the peppers pack quite a heat, so be mindful of that! All sauces were good with red being the spicier option (but still manageable).
Seems like a good amount of locals come by, so there could be a little wait! But overall, quick and friendly, and even if you do have to wait, you'll get to breathe in all the delicious taco scent as they prep them. You'll definitely get hungry so make sure to order enough!
They take cash, venmo or zelle! read more
