This place don't deserve a single star. I found them on Google and went because of the positive reviews plus their $2 taco online special. I ordered 4 tacos (carne asada) tacos not only they advertise wrong prices but also their food taste nasty! I got greased up tortillas that had a weird flavor and the meat had no flavor whatsoever. Also got watered down salsa in small plastic containers barely halfway filled. Waste of time and money. My order went straight to the garbage! go buy tacos somewhere else this place is not it.

The steak tacos are delicious with lots of flavor. Make sure you get cilantro and onions.

This is one of the best taco spots I've been too! The sizes of the tacos are a bit bigger than the usual street tacos. I got three tacos two chicken and one al pastor for $8. The only downside is that I wish the al pastor had pineapples on it. Other than that, these tacos were flavorful and filling! I didn't wait too long to get them and I went on a Saturday around noon ish. The employees were nice and efficient. 5/5 recommendation!

Best tacos I've had in ages! Flavorful and fresh at a reasonable price: $2.5 each. Had 3 of the steak tacos and left full. Will be back again!

Amazing! These are delicious, authentic, Mexican tacos! You must try the al pastor and chorizo tacos. It's a food truck in a gas station parking lot off of Glenwood. I park my car along the side and get out to pay. Currently, you can't tip on a card, so I'd bring cash for a tip. The tacos are $2.50 (I haven't had any of their other food items). I've been a few times and can't wait to get back!

This place was a little too authentic for me with the texture of the homemade shells but I definitely appreciate the price @ $2 a taco

There's only one place in Raleigh that's so good I'll eat it in the front seat of my car, parked in a gas station parking lot _ Tacos Abarca. It's a food truck that's typically parked in front of the Valero at 6200 Glenwood Ave. in Northwest Raleigh. I would never call myself a taco truck expert, but this is the best of several where I have eaten in Durham or Raleigh. The pastor and asada both stand up to the corn tortillas, cilantro, onions and other toppings to make the flavor of the meat come bursting through. The prices are reasonable _ $2 per taco _ and posted on the side of the truck so you know exactly what you're getting. The service is fast and friendly, and it usually attracts a line of customers at lunch time. Its positioning on Glenwood Avenue has given me a good alternative to other restaurants near my office. And even if I'm heading toward Chipotle or Chili's on the same side of the road, chances are I'll stop at Abarca before I get to the next place! The same owners appear to also operate a second truck emblazoned with "Taqueria Abarca." My photos of the Glenwood location show some of the lunch crowd approaching to place their order!

This is a food truck on Glenwood Avenue. I came across this randomly while I was stopping for gas. I was actually heading to get something to eat but I needed gas. Killed two birds with one stone. $2 tacos. CASH only. The tacos were really good. I got 3 deluxe tacos asada. Regular tacos come with cilantro and onions. The deluxe tacos are 50 cents more and include cilantro, onions, cream cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheese. Full of flavor!

When you arrive, there is plenty of parking around the building, and entrances in the front and on the right side. Once inside, you'll walk up to counter and place your order. Your then given a order number and it's open seating. Your number will be called out in Spanish when your food is ready and you'll pick it up at the counter. I ordered an al pastor taco which unfortunately was not good. It came out extremely cold and needed a lot of salsa for it to have any flavor. I also ordered a steak burrito which was much better and was served with melted cheese on the top. There were fatty pieces throughout the burrito but this was far better than the taco. Lastly, I ordered a horchata but it tasted like grainy and wasn't great. If I'm in the area again I may give this a try but I'd definitely stick with a burrito so your food is hot.

"They have all the smoke"…read more My first time in the Ironworks area, and me like! Free parking and crossing guards directing traffic - wonderful! Ironworks is a mixed use environment with vendors hawking wears under canopies, alongside brick and mortar stores, shops, and restaurants. Little Rey's (IMO) is Alpaca Restaurant meets Mexican in the best way possible. The line for the food was a solid 30-45 minute wait. So don't be like me, have a seat, pull out your phone, use the code on the table, view menu, and order and pay. However, they have employees who greet customers and begin your drink menu while you wait in line. We ordered the half chicken, Gringa tacos, guacamole, and queso. Little Rey has a pretty extensive salsa bar, with approximately 7-8 varieties. The salsa bar spans the gambit from mild, mid-hot, smoky, and creamy options. The star of the show is the smoked chicken! So good with the corn tortilla, green salsa, grilled onions and grilled jalapeño! Moving forward I'll add an order of the chicken taco to get the perfect bit without the mess! The Gringa/Picadillo taco was good. And while I am a Gringa, and I love a Taco Bell sour cream situation, that almost mayonnaise flavor didn't sit well with my soul. However, the meat itself was super flavorful. I'd ditch the flour tortilla for corn , and opt for another salsa, add pico, and I think we are there. We weren't a fan of the rice, if I'm being honest - but will try again. While I didn't try any alcoholic beverages on this round, I'm stoked to try on my next visit. Plenty of seating, but can get awkward if there are long lines. The party is outside, so that maybe your best bet. Looking forward to grabbing a group of friends for round dos! Northern Mexican: 4.4444
