This place don't deserve a single star. I found them on Google and went because of the positive reviews plus their $2 taco online special. I ordered 4 tacos (carne asada) tacos not only they advertise wrong prices but also their food taste nasty! I got greased up tortillas that had a weird flavor and the meat had no flavor whatsoever. Also got watered down salsa in small plastic containers barely halfway filled. Waste of time and money. This is one of the best taco spots I've been too! The sizes of the tacos are a bit bigger than the usual street tacos. I got three tacos two chicken and one al pastor for $8. The only downside is that I wish the al pastor had pineapples on it. Other than that, these tacos were flavorful and filling! There's only one place in Raleigh that's so good I'll eat it in the front seat of my car, parked in a gas station parking lot _ Tacos Abarca. It's a food truck that's typically parked in front of the Valero at 6200 Glenwood Ave. in Northwest Raleigh. I would never call myself a taco truck expert, but this is the best of several where I have eaten in Durham or Raleigh. The pastor and asada both stand up to the corn tortillas, cilantro, onions and other toppings to make the flavor of the meat come bursting through. The prices are reasonable _ $2 per taco _ and posted on the side of the truck so you know exactly what you're getting. The service is fast and friendly, and it usually attracts a line of customers at lunch time. Its positioning on Glenwood Avenue has given me a good alternative to other restaurants near my office. And even if I'm heading toward Chipotle or Chili's on the same side of the road, chances are I'll stop at Abarca before I get to the next place! Killed two birds with one stone. $2 tacos. CASH only. The tacos were really good. I got 3 deluxe tacos asada. Regular tacos come with cilantro and onions. On a scale of Taco Bell to "top shelf" tequila, Tacos Abarca is a small batch, delicious Añejo. No salt or lime needed (although the lime is pretty good on the tacos!) I discovered this little gem of a food truck a year or so ago when I stopped for gas and saw the parking lot was overrun with Latinos standing in line to order and pick-up food. Now I'm not always one to stop and grab food at a food truck but I do have a simple rule: never pass up the opportunity to eat at any place that is jam-packed with those of that ethnicity/culture. They know how their culture is supposed to serve food. Having grown up in AZ and on a steady diet of Mexican food I have been pining for some authentic Spanish food. I've suffered through many a NC version of Mexican food. Chile relleno made with a bell pepper?!?!?! Just. Don't... They have many options of meats to choose from and they make their own salsas. A green, tomatillo based one that's more mild and a red one that's got a nice kick to it. I mix them and use the extra on my morning eggs for a nice jolt of energy to start the day. They do tacos, burritos, and a sub like sandwich. All are very good. If you ask they'll also throw on a grilled jalapeño for you. This isn't a sit-down meal or dinner place but it's an amazing lunch! Went there one time and I've been going ever since the chorizo quesadillas are amazing 10/10

Tacos are usually on point! However, the last couple times have been very disappointing! Their burritos are never wrapped well, or at all. Everything falls out which obviously make it hard to enjoy. The steak (carne asada) and green salsa have been way too salty. I was also pretty grossed out the most recent time because one of employees had her hair down while cooking food.
