Tacos tacos tacos, get your tacos!! We ordered a tray featuring Camarón (Shrimp), Al Pastor (Pork/Pineapple), and Coliflor (Cauliflower). Delicious all around, especially the Camarón! I ordered a single Calabacín (Zucchini) which was absolutely delicious. The salsas were on the smokier side, even the green one, and were the perfect compliment to the tacos. I've dined in before and while the meat options were tasty, they were a bit dry. The Asada (steak), Al Pastor, Pollo Asado (grilled chicken), and Lengua (Beef Tongue) were all on the drier side. Loved the seasoning, wished that it didn't need the salsa. Vegetarians can rejoice because the veggie options are deeeeeelicious. I'm curious about the Birria and Cangrejo (Crabcake) tacos. Food took a little longer to come out but it was worth it. It's also clean and comfortable, perfect spot to dig into some delicious food with friends and colleagues. Would I come back? Sure! Enjoy the pics :)

The birria tacos are my favorites! They're so cheesy and hot and I love the consume that comes on the side. Very filling and the tacos come quick!

I was excited that this place came to Calverton! I frequent the area on a weekly basis so it's nice to have another option. I used to go to their hotelpop-ups and their other location in Hyattsville early in the pandemic. The staff are really nice and the portions are hearty. My only suggestion would be to bring back the deals that they have for smaller quantities of tacos- 3 to 5. Everything tastes fresh. They'll be seeing me again :)

From left to right: shrimp taco, carne asada, al pastor, crab cake

The service was nice and the ambiance of the place is casual. The food itself was nothing that wow'd me. We ordered the birria tacos and one shrimp, one crab, one al pastor, and a carne asada taco. The meat in all these tacos couldve used more seasoning and the meat wasn't as tender as I was hoping. The presentation was pretty tho and I would get the shrimp taco again. My gf said the birria tacos also lacked flavor and gives it a 6/10.

I wasn't sure what to expect. Place is new and clean. Music playing in the background but not too loud You can still carry on a conversation with your party. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. You place your order at the counter and they will bring the food to the table. They serve tacos and a dozen or so of specialty items. I wanted something different so I got the Birria Ramen. So what is it? It is Birria alongside delicious Ramen Noodles inside the rich consome broth! Topped with fresh onion, cilantro, and radishes. What a combination. Delicious. Big portion. I definitely could not finish. Plenty of birria! Looking forward to returning to try other items.

I wanted a quick lite lunch so I stopped in for the Chicken Taco de Tinga (Chipotle Chicken) and Taco de Hongos (Mushroom) on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty busy for 2pm which was a good sign. Both tacos were great, I wasn't sure what to expect with the mushroom taco, but it was so savory and delicious I'd definitely order again!

Congrats on this second location. I've been to the College Park restaurant a few times, but I've been waiting for this one to open as it's much closer to me! The grand opening was just a few days ago! I follow this business on IG! They had amazing giveaways! TVs, bbq grills, gift cards! If I wasn't out of town, I would have been there! Sierra's Grill used to be here previously. I paced an online order today for Taco Tuesday. It comes with 3 tacos for $10, which is a great deal! I did steak, grilled chicken, and chicken tinga. My order was ready. I was greeted right away. It's spacious inside. I'll try dining in one day. My tacos were delicious!! Come check out this brand new taco joint!

Street parking. Friendly staff. Fast service. Simple menu. Great upbeat atmosphere. And the tacos are GOOD!!

The resturant is clean and decorated very well they have aprons along the hallway to the restroom. They offer free water to everyone which is super kind. Each taco is around $3.90-$4.00 which is a bit pricier. We had the shrimp , chipotle chicken , steak and grilled chicken. I can't lie everything was fantastic I would opt out of the grilled chicken and stick with the chipotle chicken. What makes it even better is that the meat is shredded it was seasoned so well I can't wait to go back. We also got a chicken quesadilla and it was perfect amount of cheese and meat !

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Because of the holiday, the wait was about 30 minutes for four tacos, which was a bit longer than I would've liked. That said, it was worth it. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. We did pickup from the restaurant, calling the order in ahead was straightforward, and it was ready within 15 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant is very special, beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating. Would definitely go again!

Since I was happy with what I saw (or…read morerather, with what I ate), I've dropped by Trippy Tacos on a few occasions to satisfy taco cravings. Overall, I cannot complain about the food, quality, service and price. Tacos will typically run $3-$4, which is a bit standard for the area, and they are loaded with plenty of fixings. Also, Trippy has daily specials for certain items on the menu. For small place, the restaurant has a pretty extensive Tex-Mex menu, so I think everyone should find something that they'll like. Although the restaurant has some seating, this place is more of a take-out spot. One tip: I highly recommend ordering before arriving to Trippy Taco, so you can simply grab and go. Unfortunately, parking is a bit limited and tight (like most places in this area). While the food, service and prices are pretty good, I'll admit that I would not go too far out of my way to visit since there are no shortage of Tex-Mex spots in the area. But, it's a great spot to check out on your way from Point A to Point B. Usually, I visit on my way home from the gym (to undo the benefits of my workout).

They were better than I expected. All looks very appetizing and smell so good. It seems really homemade style, fresh ingredients and aromatic. The chicken empanadas are surprisingly huge and you got 2 pieces for $11, that is reasonable, for me. As well as Tacos cost just about $3-4 each, it is a soft Taco with corn tortilla and flavorful seasoned filling, plus green salsa - that's perfect combination. I have not much to say about service, as it was a take out by online order but it was smoothly pick-up, everything was ready and packed nicely when I was arrived. The restaurant is quite tiny and old building at the back, but there are plenty free parking available around. Mainly for take out order but I think you can dine-in too - there are some seating table inside and outside. The Trippy Taco menu seem variety and interesting. They have not only Taco, but also a lot selection of Burrito, Soup, Quesadillas, Sandwich. Nacho and Fries. Yes, don't judge a book by its cover before you explore it.

I was even pleasantly surprised that my tacos were served on a real plate. I was expecting something like a styrofoam container, like how the taco trucks do it.
