This restaurant is located all the way at the end of the shopping center, and it's faster to get to by parking on the street on Beltsville Drive than the shopping center parking lot, if you don't want to walk for a bit. I ordered birria, shrimp, chicken tinga, crab cake, and esquites à la madre (corn in a cup with hot Cheetos). Everything was delicious! I loved that you could order one birria taco instead of a set if you are trying different kinds. My least favorite, if I had to choose was the crab cake one and that is because I'm not really a crab person ( I know, I have brought shame to Maryland as a Marylander) but it was still realllyyy good. They have an extensive menu on the kind of tacos to order including plenty of non-veg options. I ordered over the phone and it was ready within 15 minutes. Yelp, FTW, again. This location is in Calverton on the opposite side of the strip mall. Short term (30min) is available on the street. The menu is pretty straight forward from tacos, burritos and the like with various proteins. We tried chipotle chicken, crab cake, shrimp, and beef. I believe we got a 15 pack which only allows the option to get up to three proteins (five of each). I enjoyed all the tacos! They were super fresh and all of the meats were seasoned to perfection. The salsa that came with it was just the right spice and added to the flavors. I think my favorite were the shrimp and chicken. My family loved it so much that we went back the next day and got another 15! Please double check your orders before leaving as we were short a taco, it's kind of a bummer, to miss out. read more

I think I just found my new favorite taco shop in Maryland! It was not busy on a Friday evening. We got 4 different tacos to share and the the asada fries. My favorite was the shrimp taco and the Al pastor taco! The fries were nov and fine, but I'm not sure I'd get them again. Service was quick and they have a variety of Jarritos sodas to enjoy with your tacos. We ate inside, it's not fancy but some tables and chairs and they'll bring your food out to you. I am SO glad this place is so close to my house. I have had a sampling of their tacos, including the crab cake taco, which is fun and delicious, but I think my favorite is their birria tacos. They are stacked to the brim with meat and cheese, and are incredibly filling. I often cannot eat all 3 in one sitting and have a tasty snack for later. I also really appreciate that you can order online, and when doing so, you can specify whether you want your tacos without cilantro or onion. I have yet to try anything other than the tacos and I tell myself every time I order that I will try something new but the birria is just so good that I keep coming back. read more

I ordered a single Calabacín (Zucchini) which was absolutely delicious. The salsas were on the smokier side, even the green one, and were the perfect compliment to the tacos. I've dined in before and while the meat options were tasty, they were a bit dry. The Asada (steak), Al Pastor, Pollo Asado (grilled chicken), and Lengua (Beef Tongue) were all on the drier side. Loved the seasoning, wished that it didn't need the salsa. Vegetarians can rejoice because the veggie options are deeeeeelicious. I'm curious about the Birria and Cangrejo (Crabcake) tacos. Food took a little longer to come out but it was worth it. It's also clean and comfortable, perfect spot to dig into some delicious food with friends and colleagues. Would I come back? Sure! I was excited that this place came to Calverton! I frequent the area on a weekly basis so it's nice to have another option. I used to go to their hotelpop-ups and their other location in Hyattsville early in the pandemic. The staff are really nice and the portions are hearty. My only suggestion would be to bring back the deals that they have for smaller quantities of tacos- 3 to 5. Everything tastes fresh. They'll be seeing me again :) read more

The service was nice and the ambiance of the place is casual. The food itself was nothing that wow'd me. We ordered the birria tacos and one shrimp, one crab, one al pastor, and a carne asada taco. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. You place your order at the counter and they will bring the food to the table. They serve tacos and a dozen or so of specialty items. Congrats on this second location. I've been to the College Park restaurant a few times, but I've been waiting for this one to open as it's much closer to me! The grand opening was just a few days ago! I follow this business on IG! They had amazing giveaways! TVs, bbq grills, gift cards! If I wasn't out of town, I would have been there! Sierra's Grill used to be here previously. I paced an online order today for Taco Tuesday. It comes with 3 tacos for $10, which is a great deal! I did steak, grilled chicken, and chicken tinga. It's not as close to me as their original location, but I had to check it out! This area is nostalgic for me. My very first internship outside of college was across the street. It's a bit awkward as it faces the street and there's no parking lot or sidewalk in front of it. In theory, you can park in the larger parking lot on the other side of it, but for convenience, park on the street in front of it if there is space. The street curves a bit too, so it's interesting lol. Anyways, there are plenty of tables to sit at, and ordering is pretty easy with very visible menus. On this occasion, I tried the crab cake tacos for the first time, and I was obsessed. For me, tacos from the spot never disappointed. I really enjoy this spot. It is reasonably priced (relatively) and the quality of the food has been consistently good in my experience. Currently, my favorite are the crab cake tacos and the vegetarian chorizo (spicy!). Other faves in our family are the quesatacos and birria quesadillas. I heard good things about this place and it's in the neighborhood. I ordered the nachos à la madre with grilled chicken, the birria ramen, tacos with shrimp and grilled chicken respectively. Everything was fresh and passed the eye test but was mostly bland in terms of flavor. The shrimp tacos were the tastiest thing. I'd eat those again. Carne asada tacos were BOMB!!!! Hard to find great taco truck style tacos. Place was clean and simple to eat there.

The resturant is clean and decorated very well they have aprons along the hallway to the restroom. They offer free water to everyone which is super kind. Each taco is around $3.90-$4.00 which is a bit pricier. We had the shrimp , chipotle chicken , steak and grilled chicken. I can't lie everything was fantastic I would opt out of the grilled chicken and stick with the chipotle chicken. What makes it even better is that the meat is shredded it was seasoned so well I can't wait to go back. We also got a chicken quesadilla and it was perfect amount of cheese and meat ! read more

Man I really wanted to like their tacos since it's so close by and Taqueria Los Primos is doing renovations. I went to their grand opening with high hopes, but the tacos at this place were so mid. Their Al Pastor is one of the worst from all the taco spots near by. Their portions are also much smaller than like los Primos or Tacos don Perez but for whatever reason they charge more here. Their camarones tacos are the only ones we liked but the other proteins are not good, IMO. I tried it a second time a week later just in case it was an off day during their grand opening, but it was even less appetizing the second time around :(. Taqueria Los Primos will still be our go to spot. I will say though, their customer service was on point and the staff super friendly and welcoming. read more

Went to this restaurant for the first time. I'll start off by saying the food was delicious. We each had a variety of tacos. The meats were well seasoned, the mushrooms were flavorful, the fish was really good. After that, this restaurant showed that it had just opened two weeks ago. The food orders took a long time to come out, the air conditioning was inadequate, forks are not readily available and more.
