We were really disappointed in the fish tacos and the fish and chips. The fish was tough and there was lettuce and not cabbage on the tacos. Even the fries were sub par. They weren't crispy and we didn't eat most of them. The salsa that was provided with the chips before the meal wasn't good either. My son said it tasted like marinara sauce. The only bright spot was the Quesabirrias which we liked. Unfortunately though all 6 of us said we would never go back and we were sad we wasted a meal here.

I ordered the quesabirria plate, and they exceeded my expectations. The customer service was phenomenal, and our waiter, Gaby, shared that the birria recipe is a family recipe that has been passed down through generations. It made the meal feel even more special. My friends ordered carne asada tacos, and the enchiladas suizas and they were a 10/10! I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! When we finally got it about 20-25 minutes later they said it was because of the burger, so know that before you order. Thankfully the halibut sandwiches were really good and we loved them! After reviewing the menu, each of us ordered what we wanted. I got the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was decent, nothing to write home about. It hit the spot . When we got our check, there was this line item called "large party" with an amount. We chatted and we assumed it was the tip, but it also had a separate tip line. We inquired with the waitress what the large party was and sure enough, its 18% gratuity added for large groups. Be warned though, there's a separate line for the tip at the bottom. Use your judgement, either just pay with the large party amount on it or add more tip if you want at the bottom. They should change the verbiage from "large party" to "Large Group Gratuity" or something that's more clear.

This has been a family-owned restaurant for years. Currently, it's owned and run by the next generation (a group of three brothers) in the family. Service was fast and friendly and the food is excellent. My go to over the years has always been the Kitchen Sink - it has everything on it, and is possibly the best combination pizza ever. One random note is that my wife loved the ranch dressing. They make it in house and it's tasty and the perfect consistency. They also serve delicious Filipino food (my parents used to go here all the time), sub sandwiches, appetizers and specials like kimchi fried rice. Pizza Mill has been and will continue to be one of my must-eats while in Ketchikan. Definitely, go check it out!
