I'd never eaten at a Taco Time before, and never will again. I was intrigued by the pork burritos, but should have known it wouldn't be very good because they were advertised as being "sweet". That's a no no in fast food, because it means sugar. REAL pulled pork has a natural sweetness that doesn't require sugar, but corporate America thinks sweetness only works with sugar. YUCK! Their "5 Alarm" hot sauce is weaker than Taco Bells regular hot sauce, and doesn't have any flavor (and why are the packets so large?). We went there Saturday at about 11:15 and placed our order and sat down to wait. They served 2 drive ups while we waited. Then the wait got excessive. We we the only ones in the lobby other than an employee taking a lunch break. We looked in the kitchen to see what was going on. I don't know why the food preppers didn't wonder why we were in the lobby and they had no order and none at the drive up. The girl who took our order finally asked what we ordered and I told her. Two more cars at the drive up got taken care of. Another girl came out and said they couldn't find my ticket so I gave her my receipt. We were both hungry and my boyfriend does get hangry. We were frustrated and tired of waiting and expressed our frustration but didn't chew them out. I asked how they could lose our order and the 2nd girl said they didn't lose it. She said they were shorthanded and new. She finally brought our food and I asked for my receipt back because we were splitting it with friends. She said she thought it was in the sack and when I said you think it is, she said yes and gave me a smug look. She said she hoped we would be nicer people. We left almost half an hour after we got there. We got to our friends' house and no receipt and the order was incorrect! Bad idea to leave newbies alone on a Saturday. Better than average fast food Mexican. The ground beef is not greasy. The lettuce and tomatoes always fresh. I've tried 65% of the menu and all has been good. It can be pricey, but with the 4/$5.99 menu there is value. All four crisp meat burritos, which are deep fried are great. All the salsas are pretty good. The tater tots are weird, but who doesn't like tater tots. The drive thru is always super slow, but good fresh made to order food takes time. Glad they added breakfast. It's good too. read more

I use the drive-through occasionally when I'm by myself and need a quick dinner. Taco Time is inexpensive and tasty. Sometimes the mexi-fries have too much seasoning on them, making them quite salty. It's no worse than what I experience at any of the local Taco John's and I have reserved myself to this fate once in a while at fast tex-mex. Overall it's pretty good! read more

Just stopped by Taco Time today, haven't been in there for years and not sure why. Ordered two hard shell tacos and some mexi-fries. I forgot how good their tacos were; fresh and lots of non greasy meat. The mexi-fries are just deep fried tater tots..but they are good. There's something wrong with microwaved nachos. But Everything else is orgasmic. The night workers arrogant and have potty mouths. Other than that its fantastic. My favorite experiences have come from being served by a tall, brown haired, freckled boy in an orange shirt. He was polite and dropped what he was doing to come to the register and serve me. The people in the back got my food a soon as they could, and my server made sure it got to me asap. I am a big fan and plan to return and hope I get the same server every time. When I went to taco time. I ordered the green chili breakfast burrito.i was not very impressed with it. Been here numerous times. Always know to expect a long wait at the drive thru during peak lunch/dinner times. However, the last time I visited was definitely my last. Went to the drive thru, no other cars in line. Attempted to place my very simple order and when it was repeated back to me, it was wrong every single time. I repeated my order FOUR different times and the girl working continued to get it wrong, and gave me a very rude attitude as if I was doing something wrong. Finally was so fed up and exhausted from repeating my order, I just drove away giving up completely. It was by far the worst fast food experience and I wouldn't waste my time returning. read more

Each Taco Time is a bit different. This one had a salsa bar. But there weren't many items in it. They did have green sauce.. They have indoor restrooms. The veggie burrito had lots of tasty sunflower seeds in it. The burritos were of average size. Not the best Taco Time, but not too bad. read more

First I'd like to start by saying that this may be the worst place I have ever eaten, to start as soon as we walked in the cashier was despicably rude for no reason. Nachos were very stale and cold as soon as we received them, the cheese was hard as a rock and as we proceeded to order and pay the cashier pocketed my change right in front of my face. This is decent fast food, it's rarely packed, and it's open on a Sunday. A good place to either stop into or do a drive through to re-fuel and keep running your errands. The food is pretty standard, but we all LOVE the tater tots. Go for the tots! You will not be disappointed! read more
