Love it. So fresh and good .................................................. my go to place for soft tacos. It's all good

This restaurant located in a strip mall, is much more than it looks. Mom does all the cooking. Excellent authentic homemade Mexican dishes. All orders are cooked fresh so there may be a little wait but it's well worth it....absolutely delicious. Highly recommended read more

Wanted authentic Mexican food, and i hate posting bad reviews because we all have to make a living, however, ownership needs to know what's going here or they risk losing business. I was there recently for a take out order of beef nachos, three carnitas tacos, 3 soft American style tacos and chicken fajitas. 46 dollars later and the nachos were not even edible. overly deep fried and hard as a rock. the extra salsa on the side were not fresh, had the gelatin on top like refrigerated gravy. My wife said fajitas were bland. My daughter commented she would rather have had taco bell. Really? Just awful. read more

Our new favorite place! Mamasita puts LOVE in the food; that's how good it is! We are always pleased with our meals and when the chef in my life doesn't want to cook read more

When I tell you this is one of the BEST Mexican spots in the Philadelphia area, I am not exaggerating. The food is authentic, the cook makes everything fresh upon order. Each item is mouth wateringly delicious. The birria tacos and elote is my favorite. I go quite frequently, and get cravings all the time for this spot! It is a very nice atmosphere, and very clean. The staff is so friendly and attentive. They also have a variety of drinks, including fresh juices. If you dont check this place out, you are definitely missing out. read more

I usually like to go back a few times before giving a place five stars, but Taco Suave has earned my immediate approval. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine, this is the spot. It's a very unassuming little place, but undoubtedly a hidden gem. Their complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. The salsa was either prepared upon my arrival or no earlier then that morning and the chips were hot and crispy. I ordered the combo platter which came with a tostada, a taco, and a chimichanga. Priced at $8.75, I expected a small, but appropriate portion. What I actually received could have been priced at $15 or $16 easy. Just the same as the complimentary chips and salsa, my entree was hot, and remarkably fresh. Do yourself a favor and go to Taco Suave asap! read more

I want to start this review by saying we have enjoyed many meals at this restaurant (with my family of 7). We've celebrated birthdays and special occasions for the past year here until our visit in July. The food was not up to par as in previous visits. We noticed the usual woman who attended to us was absent. Perhaps that was the issue. The food was dry and under seasoned. Even the rice was dry. The biggest issue was when we received the check. their idea of a check is a piece of paper with nothing more than a dollar amount written on it. I had my suspicions when we were there once before. This bill seemed quite high. This time I decided to grab a menu and add up what we had ordered. We were over charged by $23! The poor server who was there that day made several trips to the back to discuss with, I assume, the manager. When we requested the manager come out from the back to discuss this issue, he/she refused to face us. I guess being caught red handed would make anyone shy. I will never step foot in this place again and I've made it my mission to spread the word. If you do eat here, especially with a large group, ask for a detailed check. read more

This place is our go to tacqueria. Taco Suave has safe parking (best tacquerias are in norristown, but it's a bit dicey), huge portions, and they speak English. First time we went there, we ordered two burritos. We didnt even lay a finger on the second. Wife and I now formulaically order the steak burrito and chimichanga combo. Love it so much that we introduced it to our church. Checked in 5x and still no dysentery. read more

Great little local Mexican joint in a strip mall off of Street Road. I stopped in for dinner with my mom when we were in the area based on Yelp. It did not disappoint. I had the enchiladas mole, and my mom had the chile rellenos. The portions were huge and we waited a bit for the food to come out which made me think everything was very fresh. The mole sauce wasn't the best I've had, but it was good and for $8.95 the price couldn't be beat. My mom loved her dish, she was using the corn tortillas on the side to scoop up her sauce. In addition, I ordered horchata and she ordered pineapple water. We could hear the blender going in the back after we placed out orders, but we were surprised when we each received a pitcher of said drinks. And they were only $2. As a Center City dweller, that was a crazy deal. The horchata was really good too, not too sweet. It seems like this place has been around for awhile, but it was pretty empty, so go and support this local spot! read more

We decided to have trial meal one night. We got the Tostadas, Carne Asada, Beans nachos and the wings. For desert we had the Sopapillas, Oh My! ~They were soooo good. They served them with Vanilla Ice cream and used honey and Chocolate Syrup over everything! The servings were generous and the flavors was very authentic. What caught my "flavor" was the sour cream used. I can tell that was home made, I could taste the lemon flavor in it, used to "cut" the milk. The wings were bold in flavor, not spicy hot, a good balance of taste. There were dry style and well seasoned. After trying their food, we decided to have them to do some dishes for a family party. Even though they did not have a catering menu, they met our request. All my guests loved the dishes. Some of the meals we order were the Wings, Chicken Nachos and the Sopapillas. Next day some of my friends were calling to see if they could stop by to get some Sopapillas... but there were gone! Definitely a place to enjoy! read more

Went to this strip mall BYO last night for dinner with my to bests. I did check out the previous Yelp reviews before heading over so I was definitely looking forward to what was in store. The chips we were served when we sat down were really hard, but tasty with the fresh salsa. I ordered the 1 burrito, 1 chimichanga combo and wow was it delicious! The chimichanga was packed with delicious shredded chicken and tons of melty cheese. The burrito el pastor included the most perfectly seasoned pork with grilled onions and cilantro in addition to the rice, cheese and lettuce. It was so good but so filling that I've got about 80% of the burrito for lunch today. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. read more

DO NOT judge this book by its cover. The Mexican at Taco Suave is by far the best I've had in PA. If you're a cheese lover, like me, order the nachos. Basically a heaping pile of delicious cheese and refried beans over amazing (probably homemade) chips. The tacos are fantastic, authentic and perfect. Don't miss the carnitas or carne asada. As a newbie to the area, the whole time I was eating, I kept thinking "this is what i'll be craving after a night out..." I then read almost exactly the same comment in the review below mine. Good quality Mexican food is hard to find, and this is it, for sure. read more

I feel bad writing this review. Food was just ok but service was horrible. Unfortunately the server for a Saturday night struggled with the English language and my Spanish is not great. We ordered the goat and the shrimp burrito and some how got the burrito and taco salad. Though the shrimp inside the burrito was under cooked, it had a good taste and the tortilla was too thick. When the taco salad came out, I told waitress that was not ordered she gestured 1 minute so I thought that was part of my goat entree. Well it wasn't. So, then I had to ask again for the goat. When it finally came out it was really good but I didn't eat much of it because I was aggravated. When the bill was delivered, it was way more than I expected. Like I said at the beginning of this review, I'm torn b/c food was ok. However, I will not be a return customer due to the service. It was aggravating and exhausting. So dine at your own risk. If you are comfortable with Spanish language you should not have a problem. read more

What a disappointment. Things have changed since Easter 2015. The lovely lady who waited on customers and her chef are no longer there. Perhaps she cooked the food herself? Those of you who were able to patronize the place before today some authentic Mexican consider yourselves fortunate. Today's meal was disgusting. Everything tasted like it came out of a can of Goya. This place is not long for this strip mall location. read more

Glad I found this gem! We have been searching for authentic Mexican food since moving to PA and this place hit the spot. Plenty of parking. Wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon. We sat anywhere and immediately got waters and chips and salsa. Salsa was mild and the chips very extra crunchy! I had a chorizo Torta and my husband ordered a carnitas Torta. See pictures for visual goodness! The portions were plentiful and flavorful, we both needed to go boxes. The salsa verde was delicious! Spicy but delicious. Our server Kyle was very attentive. The owner lady that said goodbye to us was very nice and welcomed us back anytime. I can't wait to come back and try something new! read more

Awesome burritos and chimichangas! Definitely the best I have had. We've eaten at Taco suave 10 or 11 times, and every time we loved it. it is consistently good! If we lived closer, we would definitely be regulars! Good, authentic Mexican food. Fairly priced, and friendly staff. read more

Great Mexican food! The pre-meal nachos you get comes with a sweet salsa (homemade, I believe) that never tastes the same twice, but is always amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. Great place to have a bite on your lunch break. Also, the two people who are always running the restaurant during the day are two of the nicest people in the planet. Chatting with them is one of the best things about eating here. read more

No need to read any other reviews. If you like authentic Mexican food then this is your place. Al pastor like none other, fresh salsa and chips, a glass bottle coke... what more could you ask for??? Taco Suave - it's not just a meal it's an adventure. You get dinner AND a show...... Very unassuming place. Not fancy - typical Mexican restaurant decor. We've always ordered take out but never ate in until tonight. The food is really VERY GOOD. There is a slight language barrier but that makes the experience more interesting. Give it a try - you know you want to!! read more

Wow. Birria tacos were epic! Cheesy meaty awesomeness. The consommé had a little kick to it, but just enough to wake me up. I can't wait to come back. read more

Excellent traditional mexican food. I've eaten here twice now and have been completely happy with everything that I've eaten. The papusas were unparalled in quality, with a great tangy orange sauce. The mole, pipian, and green sauces were all fantastic on chicken and enchiladas. Get the Agua de Pina and you won't be disappointed. Fresh pineapple blended into a light froth is a great accompaniment to the spicy, roasted flavors of the dishes. Dessert is worth it too, with one of the richest, creamiest flans in memory. Service is apt as long as the place isn't packed. read more

This place is always empty. I'm amazed at the reviews on here. I cannot believe they are only two months old! So we went here on a Sunday night and no one was there. It seems like the place is ran by a single woman. The table cloths had stains all over them and the place just felt desolate. We were given two menus that looked very cheap and run down. They were old menus with certain items actually crossed out with a sharpie and most of the prices were all crossed out and increased by a dollar or more. The lady was very nice and she brought us glasses with ice. The first thing we noticed was a dead bug on my girlfriends top ice cube. We got up and left. This place seems like it's on the verge of closing. read more

I wish I was articulate enough to describe this quaint little Mexican hidden gem. You'd almost miss it tucked in a shopping center near an auto mechanic. I've seen those mechanics' bellies though, they know very well what they have next door. Have yet to have a bad dish here, plus the Flan is to die for. Come to Taco Suave for fast, and polite service mixed with authentic Mexican that just hits the spot. So good and at such a great price. Highly recommend. read more

I tried this place for the first time today with my daughter who wanted to try Birria tacos. We ordered takeout Birrias tacos and the lunch special with two chicken enchiladas verde, rice, & beans. We were both very happy with our food except the beans were a little too salty. The server was delightful on the phone and at pick-up. The restaurant itself was very tiny and it looked very clean. We plan on returning soon. read more

ok ok here's the deal if you like taco Bell and fake Mexican food you will hate this place, because it tastes nothing like that. If you however love authentic Mexican food, you have come to the right place! I'll be honest for the first 2 years I went here, every Friday, I would get Steak, Chicken and Al Pastor (pineapple and pork) Tacos religiously. Then one day I ventured out of my comfort zone and tried their fajitas... so glad I did they are my new favourite. Had steak and chicken so far and love them. Also fell in love with the homemade Spanish rice.... You will love this place. read more

Wow delicious dinner and excellent service. I've been low carbing it. I ordered the American chicken taco without a hard or soft shell. Bernice our server understood and made me feel comfortable. pretty good overall. I had the Varvacoa tacos (pulled lamb) which I thought were decent, the salsa was "eh, ok". Let's get down to business: Salsa&chips = 3/10 at most. Their pico De Gallo had a hint of sweetness that I DID NOT like. Tomatoes and the cilantro was not fresh. Maybe packaged pre made salsa?? Burrito = 7/10 I ordered the beef burrito: the burrito it's self was pretty good all around. Rice was not to my liking but it was okay. Beef was good. The sauces they gave you were pretty good too. Especially the sour cream with a little bit of spice in it was interesting. However I like my Mexican food not to be mild but on the spicier side and maybe I should have asked for Verde sauce and make things spicier but I wanted to try it out the vanilla way. Anyway. Might come back but hard to say. The lady who served me was nice and cheerful which was a +. read more

My stomach is busting. Short of the Mission district in San Francisco, this is some of the best authentic Mexican food in the North 50. Try the "Jamaica", hibiscus beverage. This is a wonderful little restaurant. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The service was incredible.

Just a great place everything was great and the takeout was super fast and delicious.

I've hardly ever seen another soul in this place, so I'm not sure how it stays in business...BUT, the food is consistently great. Their food all tastes very fresh, their chips are crisp and authentic...and the service is always attentive and pleasant. The interior is a bit plain, but everything is clean, including the bathrooms (no mean feat in a mexican place!) Anyone looking for an authentic mexican meal in the Warminster area HAS to try this place out...its head and shoulders above the other local Mexican cuisine in my opinion. Do this place a favor, take a seat, and order yourself something good. read more

I absolutely love their food..!!! I've been ordering from here for about a year and they never disappoint me. The Lil lady that works in there is so sweet and kind.
