My favorite taco place down the street! This place is our go to for burritos and tacos! My favorite burrito is the smackdown!!!! The carne asada, shrimp, and fries with that chipotle sauce!! The best! I can't even finish this due to how heavy it is. I do end up finishing it at end of day. We also love the carne asada burrito and surf/turf! They do not go cheap with the ingredients. Two people can definitely share these burritos but if you really like it, I wouldn't share. lol. I have yet to try the birria pizza! I'm looking forward to try that. The girl that was working on Tues, June 30th around 4 pm, has a hostile attitude not good for working in hospitality. She was on the phone the entire time she was taking my order, with a smirk on her face. Hiding her phone behind the cash register. Love the candy cane trees that are the centerpieces for some of the tables. Stopped in on my lunch hour. I had one of the new items - the 2 Enchiladas Verdes R&B - your choice of Beef or Chicken topped with Salsa Verde, melted cheese and sour cream. The presentation was great, food fresh and the taste of the beef enchiladas were great too! The verde sauce was full of flavor. It was a bit on the spicy side for me but something about this dish kept me eating even though and sweating a bit. LOL. The rice and beans were good and the tortilla chip was a nice touch. The Eastern location is amazing. This one needs to get it together. Very nice aesthetic inside, I had very high hopes as it's just a bit closer than the other location. I asked literally 3 separate times to make sure my order was going to be correct and it wasn't. I was reassured all 3 times it would be even after showing the receipt. There was no other customer in the building other than myself and I am fluent in both Spanish and English. Eastern is another 5-7 minutes down the road. I'll be heading there next time instead of wasting my time here. Sad because this is a little bit closer and I love the local franchise. Worth the wait. I have only been here twice. They open later than Robert's used to, at 8am. I ordered a breakfast taco, I'm halfway through it now, and it is dee-licious. Customers need to remember that this is not exactly fast food. The cook did the fries in my burrito, and they are fresh and crispy as is the bacon. It's really good. Nothing soggy, everything very yummy. My only complaint is that they are a bit slower than I'm used to. It took a good 15 minutes for my food, there are just two people working. The young man behind the counter is soft-spoken and very polite but another customer did not hear him at all when his order was ready, so I hollered to him. I was glad to see that the counter guy did help the lady-cook for a bit. I just need to make sure I have an extra 15 minutes to wait for the food each time I come here. read more
