I was certainly not expecting there to be a taco place in Aggieville that was anywhere near this good. Usually a bar district has substandard food that people will love because they're too drunk to know otherwise. Not this place. They have a standard for food, which I respect. On their lunch menu they had about 10 different types of tacos, all of which sounded pretty good. I decided to go with the classic carnitas taco, which had a pineapple salsa. The salsa was really sweet, almost too overpowering for the carnitas. My second taco was a "slayer" with chicken. No complaints. My third taco was the special, a seasoned steak with lots of crumbly cheese and all the goodies. Perfect. It was what sold the place to me. If I'm ever in town again, I'll be sure to stop by. read more

I like this menu because there is a great selection of different types of tacos (black n blue, buffalo, etc) along with the classics. The drinks are great as they offer a fresh twist on some classics. There is a nice outdoor patio but it's often filled quickly. I have never seen this place not busy! Service is always friendly and relatively quick. I think the taco prices are fair but bigger plates can add up quickly. read more

Parking spot Karma across the street - so I ran in for a quick bite before heading back home. Love the fish taco and the buffalo chicken taco. A. This little taco joint in Manhappiness, KS is one of the best restaurants in town. They have all kinds of taco variations, from traditional street tacos to wild concoctions that I would have never thought up (looking at you Peanut Butter Taco). Their beer selection is great. And their house margaritas are muy strong. Their service is fantastic as well. Also, they are attached to one of the best bars ever: The So Long Saloon. Holy hell this place is delicious! My husband and I went on a Saturday night and it was packed! But they gave us margaritas while we waited and it honestly didn't take too long to get a spot at the bar. The chipotle raspberry bean dip was fantastic and between us we had the carnitas taco, tinga taco, and the slayer taco and all of them were so yummy! I was underwhelmed. The queso was terribly greasy. I understand it's cheese and it's naturally greasy but once it started to cool it coagulated and was just a pile of hard cheese and grease. I tried 2 tacos, one had beef and the other had chicken. The flavor concept for the tacos was good but he meat wasn't seasoned and it was dry. Tacos were outstanding and my sister loves the avocado salad. I wish they had chorizo tacos on the menu. I would give this 5 for the food but the beer menu sucks unless you want Mexican beer and the margaritas were plain and not very good. The food is good. My only issue with the food is that they use a ton of bacon bits to cover up an otherwise bland taco for a lot of tacos on the menu. Quality of the service has declined recently and I had a less than great experience the last two times I went. The waitresses almost seem to forget about the tables they are servicing. I was recommended to eat here by a friend of mine. Now let me first start off by saying the food was amazing, but way overpriced. Everything that my family and I ordered came out quick and to our liking. I was a little disappointed about the menu selection because there honestly wasn't much to choose from. The salsa is not unlimited, but the chips are, which to me was a major downfall because my family loves chips and salsa. This is the only Spanish/ Mexican restaurant I've been to in the area that did that. We had a total of 3 waitresses the entire time we were there which was a little confusing, but that's neither here nor there. The place is definitely set up for a college type of atmosphere, very loud. If I had a choice again to eat here I would have to pass. read more
