I came in with 12 other people. The service was amazing. The waiter was helpful, quick, relatable, and calm. Of our 13 dishes, only three of them were not very good, the regular ground beef tacos were the worst. Many of the dishes were very good like the Chile Relleno, Enchilada Ranchero, Taquitos, Nachos with Refried Beans, and a chicken burrito to name a few. I got their quesabirria platter, and everything is bland. No lime in anything, no salt in anything. The salsa has some kick but is also just bland. The agua Fresca (fresa) just tastes like plain sugar. Not worth 30 bucks by any means. read more

We were in Manhattan for a sports event and found this restaurant on yelp with reviews saying it's like west coast Mexican. I would give it 10 stars for the Huarache (big tortilla with beans, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese and meat. We got it with birria beef and inhaled it- it was sooooo good. The other entree was taquitos and they were good but not great. The chips and salsa were also not my favorite, nothing special. I would def come back to try more menu items when we're in town again. (Located near Dairy Queen now) I was hesitant about the new location but my hubs and I just gave it a try and we LOVED our food and my margarita. We had high hopes, but were disappointed. The chicken flautas/durados were flavorless. The rice was plain white rice with cilantro and no other flavor. The salsas weren't that good. The guacamole needed more seasoning. I enjoyed the beans and my barbacoa and carne asada tacos due to the nice flavor. read more

We absolutely love this restaurant! It is very family friendly and they just got a new menu which has a lot more options on it including vegetarian. My husband and I go here every week with our friends and are always greeted. The drinks are strong but good! Thursday are usually half off jumbo margaritas, it's amazing. I love the white queso dip and the bottled sodas. The food is made fresh and hot, but usually is out quickly! The owner is very friendly as well! read more

I ordered birria tacos, and they served them with the traditional broth to dip the tacos in. It was absolutely delicious. Family owned, authentic and a great alternative to fast food chain Mexican food. My husband loved his tacos and beans, and swooned over the flan for dessert. Today was my first time trying, coming from California and a Hispanic myself this place hit home. The tacos were so good, meat had good flavor nice and chopped how I like it I got asada, and the red salsa was really spicy how I like it. Also got a burrito that was big for the price and husband got a torta. Horchata was so good and the people who work their not sure if they are the owners are nice. Love the homemade corn tortillas! The steak in the taco some gristle but the flavor was good...a fresh lime wedge would have made it amazing but would order again. The quesabirria was amazing! Barbacoa tacos were delicious! The corn tortillas looked and tasted homemade. Yum! Their salsas were very flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. Fresas con crema (strawberries with cream) was also very tasty! I initially wanted a mangoneada however they were out of the ingredients so they recommended fresas con crema and I'm glad I agreed to it. Multiple friends raved to us about this place and we finally gave it a try. So glad we did. By far, some of the best Mexican food in Manhattan. My husband got carna asada and green chili pork tacos. You could tell the tortillas are homemade. I got tacos dorados; which are pretty much chicken flatas. They were so crispy and loaded with sour cream, diced tomato and Fresca cheese. We also bought two churros and the chocolate one was delicious! The people taking our order were so nice and everything is made fresh to order. I was elated to have finally found a little piece of home in Manhattan, where I could get my favorite Mexican snacks, but I was sorely disappointed. I ordered fresas con crema, esquites, and an elote entero. The fresas con crema was made with frozen strawberries and the coco on top tasted stale. I do not live far from this place and can not believe I have been missing out for this long! The lady that helped us was very kind and patient as we looked at the menu. I ordered carne asada tacos and my daughter ordered a sausage breakfast burrito, also the tortillas were homemade. We also got one chocolate churro to try and ended up coming back for four more because they were so yummy! I highly recommend the verde sauce it was just the right amount of spice. Cool concept not the best in delivery. Only a couple tables and they weren't really that clean. Went up to order and several of the things we wanted they didn't have. Ok, well.... I guess I understand. Here's where I got upset. I opened the boxes of our food and it was all pretty and well presented until we got to my plate and it had a huge hair all up in my tacos! So sad..... I have no idea how much I paid for this meal as I used my debit card and it was scanned through a cell phone and when she handed me the thing to sign I couldn't see what I was signing. So this meal could be the equivalent to my mortgage I don't know. I will say the food was good, except for one hair taco. Not too sure about that one. Quesadilla was huge, sandwich thing my husband got was big, fries were curly, lots of sauces. All in all here's the short version: 1. Be open minded to ordering cause they may not have it 2.
