I looked over the menu and was surprised to see such items as carne guisada and chile Colorado. I opted for the flautas which stated that they were made with flour tortillas (a Tex-Mex indicator). In my neck of the woods, flautas are made with corn tortillas so I was preparing myself for a little disappointment, but when my meal came out I was happily surprised to find that they were actually made with corn tortillas. They were delicious, perfectly crispy and the shredded chicken was flavorful. We did have to order a side of rice and beans, which seemed odd, typically flautas come on a plate WITH rice and beans in my experience so that did add to our bill. I suggest you make sure you read what is actually included and don't just assume. The rice and beans however, were extremely flavorful and authentic. My son usually eats about 1/2 the rice & bean sides, but he plowed through both leaving me with sadly, but a few bites. My husband ordered some green chile chicken enchiladas and said they spectacular. I hope we see Marta next time we're in town, because she made the entire experience memorable.
