My sister-in-law came over to visit today and said she wanted to try the new taco place on Leaders Heights. Let me just say: DON'T! WOW! $35 for 2 small burrito bowls and 2 soft tacos. Nothing else. No drinks. No anything. My sister-in-law questioned the cost when she picked them up. She said your employees were walking through the "restaurant" eating. Really? I'm sorry to be hateful but your food is NOT good. I'm sitting hear trying to eat the soft taco. It's a tortilla with sandy, no-flavor meat, lettuce, tomato ,and cheese. We dumped taco and hot sauce on the food to give it taste. According to your website absolutely everything else is extra. How much do I need to pay for 2 tacos? Had I known how BAD your food is I would have asked her to drive to East York and buy the food at Robburrito. The same thing there would have been less than $25. I could have had her get burritos at Chipotle for $9-$10.50 each no extra cost for the actual toppings. Terrible. Pretty good, the second time we went was better than the first. Would come back here again. They have a lot of free toppings, which is something a lot of places don't have! They have many toppings available, so you would actually save money by coming here. They are generous with their portion sizes. Chicken is a little bland, and could be more evenly cut up into pieces instead of good sizes and then just random big chunks of chicken breasts. This place is always pretty steady business, so I would recommend ordering on the app or over the phone. Lots of customization options. They also have Local Flavors available, which helps encourage us to go back there. read more

Tried this place yesterday despite all the bad reviews. I thought it's was really good. I had street tacos (1 chicken 1 steak and 1 beef) My wife had a Veggie Cheese Quesadilla And we shared chips and pico The food was really good! The chips were warm and fresh, the quesadilla was awesome (messy but awesome) and the street tacos were good too. I preferred the chicken and steak I've the beef taco but they were all pretty good. Place was clean People were nice Not sure what else you can ask for from a neighborhood place. read more

I started with high hopes. As soon as you walk in the place smells delicious, made me feel happy and satisfied already. We ordered, i believe both items were around $10. They have berch Beer in the soda fountain i was happy to see that! We got our food super quick, I had a burrito bowl FILLED almost making a mess on the table when I went to mix everything up. The chicken was seriously over spiced, not hot but over kill on taco seasoning. We also got a burrito, it was huge bigger then what you get at Qdoba, except the steak was so great and had no seasoning what so ever.. talk about night and day difference. Unfortunately I can't recommend the taco house. There are some really great components here but it doesn't all come together very well. For example- awesome fried salad shells and the Brianna sauce is fantastic. But the meats are bland and the rice we were served was extremely mushy and overall not great. I stopped in since my car was charging for an hour. I was initially reluctant because of the negative reviews. I should've listened and just grabbed something from the Sheetz. The staff was friendly, but the food was horrible. I had a shrimp quesadilla. The shrimp were so salty and the quesadilla was dry. It was like they soaked the shrimp in old bay for days. We were so excited to try this place out because it's very close to my house, we like The taqueria in Dover but that's a bit far away. We decided to try a few items on the menu, extremely overpriced. We get home and there is no seasonings or sauce on anything. Straight up cooked beef, chicken and tiny shrimp. No flavor no nothing. Got the "roll up tacos" we pictured it would be like taquitos but no, it was a corn tortilla rolled and broken up (because of rolling) with a little bit of unseasoned meat inside. Very disappointed. Decided to try again because people suggested to try with the sauces they offer, still did not enjoy. Spent over $70 on not great food. Definitely will continue to make the drive to Dover. read more

My brother and I are 2 hungry teens who are the least picky people in the world. Yet neither of us could finish our meals. He had the steak tacos and I had a burrito bowl. Maybe we were spoiled by our Mexican mother's cooking but the meat was horrendous. It was flavorless and the texture made it seem like it was a vegetarian substitute. To make matters worse, the green salsa was just mashed up tomatillos. Immensely sour, barely salted, and not blended enough. For perspective, I would choose Taco Bell over this 10/10 times. Saw their name in a newspaper article about tacos in York County, so gave them a try. Overall, food was okay, but bland. Not a lot of spices being used in preparing the food. There's nothing exceptional about the food, but I would not say it's bad either. We tried some chicken tacos and a burrito bowl, and we liked the fresh toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, onions & peppers, etc...) If we are in the area and looking for lunch or dinner, we'll try to remember them, but not going to go out of my way to get tacos or burritos here. I've tried a couple different things from the menu and haven't had a bad experience! This place is super close to where I live and work so it's very convenient! Everyone is also so friendly So far I've tried the taco bowl, loaded nachos, chicken street taco, beef street taco, cinnamon chips and the Mexican corn cup! Everything is always super good! My parents also have had the loaded nachos and also the hard shell beef tacos which they both loved! read more

From the peaks of my imagination to the depths of my nightmares, I could never have dreamed up tacos that taste as much like soggy paper as these tacos do. It's astounding how flavorless the food is. Water has more zest than the food at Taco House. Out of the four separate meals ordered during this visit, it felt as though each was in a bitter competition with the others to score a zero on the flav-o-meter. I got chips and salsa and cinnamon chips and they were BOTH half cook chips over half didn't even have a crunch to them. The chicken taco was pretty good, I got a beef and shrimp as well. The shrimp was over cooked very rubbery and the beef was not a pleasant flavor. My pico was very bland seemed to have no salt or lemon lime juice to bring it together. First let me say I love supporting local businesses so when I heard about The Taco House I had to check them out. Finally!! I found the place to get yummy street tacos. Before ordering, I asked if they recommended two or three tacos? I was told employees at a neighboring business said, for them, two tacos were satisfying and three would be filling. I opted to go all in and ordered three steak tacos. Their advice was spot on. I was satisfied after taco number two and stuffed after three. I ordered the tacos the traditional way which was a corn tortilla stuffed with steak, onions, salsa, and cilantro and I opted to add queso fresco.
