The old adage: "Forgive and Forget!" It may not change the past but it gives the future a chance! How can you hold a grudge against a truck that cranks out food this good? So if you read my original review, you could probably tell I was pretty steamed after visiting their scheduled locations 3 times in a row and leaving empty handed. I decided to look up their schedule last week and found that they'd be near where I would be and did a drive by. Sure enough, I spotted them, and the game was on! I got the Chicken Loaded Quesadilla, Island Style. It was outstanding. Loads of fresh, quality cheese with a generous portion of well seasoned chicken along with hints of mango and cilantro. Bravo! I also tried the Key-lime, chocolate dipped Macaroons (2 o's) and I thought they were great. Good pinch of coarse salt to heighten the chocolate intensity. Very glad I gave them another chance. I've been a couple times more and it looks like they got the schedule thing figured out!

I ended up getting the burrito here with steak. Steak was cooked perfectly. It wasn't well done or over cooked which I love! Burrito was huge!! I also got a side of siracha with it and it complimented well with the burrito! I can't wait to try other stuff!

I'm not what you would call a "Taco Eater". Give me a Dorito Locos Taco from Taco Bell and i'm happy and when I visit a sit down restaurant, the last thing i'm thinking is "Tacos!" when I see it on the menu. And the one time I gave it a try with fish tacos, I just didn't "get it". But today, I forgot about a work meeting during my typical late lunch hour & I was starving & a coworker mentioned they were getting tacos when I remembered Taco Green-Go is in the area today! So I hurried over right before they closed. I was happy to see that the menu was easy to follow and there was a nice variety of options. The only thing that shocked me was the price. $8 for two tacos? There had better be a lot of meat on these things!! I ordered the Chicken Island and the Carne Asada Mexican. Why 2 orders? Because I couldn't make up my mind so I decided I would eat one of each now and have dinner. Kind of silly after complaining about the price right? Just love me! Anyway, hands down the Chicken Island Taco was my favorite! Never would I ever typically order a dish of any kind that included fruit. Especially Mango, just because in my mind I hated Mango. I also have a thing against fruit & nuts in my food... that thing is it's just weird. Picky & sheltered I know, but i'm clearly working on it! Since i'm the type of person who gets stuck on a menu item I like, It's pretty much Island style on anything else I get from this truck from now on. The tacos were indeed filled with plenty of Chicken/Steak and ALL of the toppings worked together perfectly. I was definitely on full blown itis status(Refer to urban dictionary) the rest of the afternoon. Now though i'm not swooning over the Mexican style tacos, it wasn't bad at all. The steak was seasoned so well & was very tender. The Mexican style just didn't excite my palate as much as the Island Style did. But I think i'll give the steak another try... with the Island style of course!

Pretty good taco truck. I felt like it was a bit expensive, not sure if I want to pay $9 for two small tacos but the ingredients were nice and fresh. I had a steak bulgogi taco (I like the Korean influence.) And the Chicken Mole was delicious. I also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was pretty solid too. Not bad food when having a beer outside NODA brewing.

    Veggie Incred-A-Bowl Island Style!

Taco Green-Go is my go to on FTF. The vegetarian dishes- specifically the vegetable Incred-a-bowl, Island style is to die for! Seriously, mango salsa...coconut jasmine rice...pineapple guava aioli!! Need I say more?! My only wish is for a separated vegetable medley. While the truck staff is super accommodating to custom orders, they could not guarantee there wouldn't be mushrooms in the vegetable medley. Luckily I do t have an allergy to mushrooms; only a strong dislike for their texture. Next time you're attending FTF, be sure to stop in st Taco Green-Go. You will not be disappointed.

Carnitas bowl island style. Very good.

I'm a ramen reverer, and I can say that this ramen unfortunately did not hit the mark for me. After reading their reviews, I am realizing that I probably should've tried their pho or other menu items, but it was a cold day and I really wanted to love the ramen here. The menu says the ramen has soft boiled eggs, but these were definitely hard boiled. I put a note for no corn in my ramen, but it definitely came with corn *sadness*. I ordered chicken in my ramen and was expecting slices of chicken like most places do, but instead it was ground chicken which was a little weird to eat in a ramen for me. If I come back here, I would definitely try a different type of menu item. But the restaurant gives very cutesy vibes!

I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys!
