We used QC Catering for our June celebration month honoring Pride, Juneteenth and Carribean Heritage month. They brought salmon, steak medallions, some FABULOUS mashed potatoes, salad, and so much more! The team arrived early, which we loved, and they helped us set up and ensured we had all the serving utensils we needed. I loved their attention to detail and the quality of the food. Our team was RAVING about the food and we look forward to using them again in the future! read more

I love QC Catering! They are my absolute go to whether I need a corporate buffet or box lunches for a small group meeting. Ordering online is easy and the variety of options is incredible! read more

I have some crazy intense food allergies, and very rarely eat anything I don't personally make. But I recently traveled to Charlotte to host a corporate event and had no choice but to trust someone else to make my meals. Not only was all the food so delicious (according to everything I heard my guests say), they took pride in caring for my needs and I didn't get sick. So thank you, QC... you have no idea how much it means to be able to eat outside my home, and what an even bigger treat for it to taste amazing! read more

QC catering has it right! We ordered food for a work meeting when the venue couldn't offer food options dues to COVID. All the meals were great portions and better quality than any packaged meal we've had before. Packaging looked great and made it easy to get food passed out. We will certainly use them in future and encourage you to try them out. read more

Casey and Andrew are awesome!!!! Good and service were bomb !!!! Great event thank you!!

NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY: I requested a vegan meals at a 3-day work function. There was cheese in two of my meals. The one time that I got a vegan meal but it was so bland and boring. There was another time when I requested a vegan meal at a holiday event and I got a charcuterie plate with meat and cheese. read more

I work for a fairly large company in Charlotte, and typically, we would call restaurants around the area to cater our work lunches. At the time, I had never heard of Queen City Catering, nor would I ever think to look for a catering company for office lunches. A few of our Executives and HR team met with Queen City one day as we were looking for someone to host our Holiday Party. They came back to the office with rave reviews and told me to never order lunch from anyone else. So, I took a look at their menu and was very intrigued. That next day a meeting was hosted in our office in which I ordered from Queen City Catering. I had no idea what to expect. The boxed lunches were packaged beautifully and professionally. They made quite the impression. Not only was the packaging exquisite, the food was delicious :) I can't say enough great things about this company. From their customer service over the phone, in person, their set-up of items, presentation, affordability, taste and quality of food... the list goes on and on! This company is Top Notch, and will continue to be used by our company! read more

Queen City Catering is delicious, efficient, affordable, fresh, and offers phenomenal customer service. I'm always coming at them with a last minute order, and they never fail to get it done, and get it done right. The food is really tasty, well-prepared, and the menu has a great variety of choices. I've repeatedly asked my co-workers if they'd like for me to switch things up and perhaps order from another caterer, but they won't let me. And I don't want to. It's just that good. Anything that makes my job easier makes me happy. QC Catering makes my job easier. And they deliver. read more

For the last three days, my colleagues and I have met to review a product that our company is considering investing in. The company provided lunch all three days from Queen City Catering. Day one was the best. There were at least 5 different types of sandwiches and wraps to choose from. They also provided vegetarian options as well. Day two was filled with mini sandwiches and potato salad. It was filling but nothing to write home about. Day three was the taco bar. Now I was hoping for the best but I was sadly disappointed. The chicken was over cooked and the rice and beans lacked flavor. Now I'm giving this place 3 stars because I realize that the company choose the menu and perhaps this was what was in their budget . read more

I plan corporate meetings and events and needed to find a caterer in Charlotte even though I live and work in California. Queen City Catering is a great choice for a corporate lunch or dinner meeting. We had placed our original order (BBQ) a week ahead of time for our customer and then had the event cancelled the day before. I called QCC and spoke with Shannon about cancelling...bad news for me...they had started cooking our order already...bummer. Good news was this - my field rep suggested surprising another customer office with the lunch instead. I called Shannon back, frantically, and asked if we could change the delivery address on the order to a location much further away, she said no problem! Great customer service, willing to work with you - just keep in mind that when you order BBQ, they start cooking it the day before the event. Would definitely use them again. read more

I used QC Catering for a large meeting with my company and I was not at all impressed. The food was meh and EXTREMELY overpriced. There are better caterers in the Charlotte area who won't overcharge for mediocre food. I won't be using QC Catering again. read more

It's not often that my wife and I will post a review of any company who provides a unique service, but when it comes to Queen City Caterers we are making an exception. With 30+ relatives and special friends coming to our home from different States for a special 80th birthday celebration, we selected QC Caterers. It was an excellent choice. The service, attitude and food were exceptional as was the total arrangement for several weeks in advance. We, as our guests, were delighted at the quality and creativity of the food and the bar service and "behind the scenes" activities prepping to make it all possible. This was not our first rodeo, having arranged wedding receptions for adult children at our home in New England. You will be delighted at the attention to detail and being free of any concerns. We highly recommend QC Caterers for your next event, be it for 30 or 300. They are the best and the most professional. Vince & Sue Indian Land, SC read more

I looked around for a catering company to cater a brunch I was having for a family reunion. A friend recommend Queen City Catering so I called them up. I worked with Kristie to place my initial order of their breakfast buffet and she also recommended additional items to make it more "brunch" like. I circled back with them closer to my date and was not able to reach Kristie. Come to find out she had left the company so I was now working with Lindsey. Lindsey finalized my order and we were good to go . That morning they arrived on time and set up the spread , the delivery guy did forget some of the utensils so he had to run back to get them. Overall I was very happy with the food and service. My family really enjoyed everything and they were pleased as well. The entire process was very professional and I liked the fact that they catered for smaller events I had around 65 people to feed. The only issue I did have was with the follow up after the event....nobody from the company reached out to see if I was happy with the services or just to check in . I did speak to Lindsey the day of the event but I expected at least an email for follow up. read more

Queen City Catering Company provided the catering service for my daughters wedding. I had so many guests tell me that this was the best wedding they have ever attended, I agree. The food quality was high end restaurant quality. The food not only tasted exceptional, it was presented exceptionally too. The service was unbelievable and best described as swarming. This was the most professional catering company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, from the planning to the execution. If you want the best, look no further. read more

If you are looking for a caterer that offers fantastic food, creative presentation, an amazing team and incredible attention to personal details, then look no further than QC Catering. We were new to the Charlotte area and sought out QC Catering based on the number of incredible reviews, all of which are proven to be entirely accurate. QC Catering dazzled us at the food tasting, beginning with the beautiful venue, presentation which included personalized menus and introductions to the chef and most importantly delicious food. Jennifer is truly amazing and was a pleasure to work with from the very first call to final toast. She was in constant communication, provided guidance and suggestions and helped us create the perfect wedding menu. She coordinated the rentals, set-up of the bar and placement of tables and food to create the best presentation. The food was mouth-watering, fresh, colorful and beautifully presented and the service at the event was perfection. Our guests continue to rave about it. QC Catering was more than just about the food. They were about the entire experience and about making us happy which really sets them far above the rest. We are thrilled with our experience with QC Catering, Jennifer and the rest of the QC Catering staff and cannot recommend them highly enough. We hope that everyone gets to taste the wonderful food and share in the experience. read more

I used Queen City Catering for my wedding this past June. The food was delicious and very fresh. They offered a great variety when we went to our tasting and they offer great hospitality. The team of caterers worked really hard at my reception making sure that everybody was perfectly satisfied. We had an outdoor wedding, and it began to pour down rain as I walked down the aisle. After I ran into the tent to escape the rain, Shannon was the first person to check on me and make sure that I was doing okay. I really appreciated that because it was very stressful. Shannon went out of her way to please the guests and the guests commented on the excellent service. We were very pleased with our choice of caterers. read more
