For the last three days, my colleagues and I have met to review a product that our company is considering investing in. The company provided lunch all three days from Queen City Catering. Day one was the best. There were at least 5 different types of sandwiches and wraps to choose from. They also provided vegetarian options as well. Day two was filled with mini sandwiches and potato salad. It was filling but nothing to write home about. Day three was the taco bar. Now I was hoping for the best but I was sadly disappointed. The chicken was over cooked and the rice and beans lacked flavor. I'm always coming at them with a last minute order, and they never fail to get it done, and get it done right. The food is really tasty, well-prepared, and the menu has a great variety of choices. I plan corporate meetings and events and needed to find a caterer in Charlotte even though I live and work in California. Queen City Catering is a great choice for a corporate lunch or dinner meeting. We had placed our original order (BBQ) a week ahead of time for our customer and then had the event cancelled the day before. I called QCC and spoke with Shannon about cancelling...bad news for me...they had started cooking our order already...bummer. Good news was this - my field rep suggested surprising another customer office with the lunch instead. I called Shannon back, frantically, and asked if we could change the delivery address on the order to a location much further away, she said no problem! With 30+ relatives and special friends coming to our home from different States for a special 80th birthday celebration, we selected QC Caterers. It was an excellent choice. The service, attitude and food were exceptional as was the total arrangement for several weeks in advance. We, as our guests, were delighted at the quality and creativity of the food and the bar service and "behind the scenes" activities prepping to make it all possible. I looked around for a catering company to cater a brunch I was having for a family reunion. A friend recommend Queen City Catering so I called them up. I worked with Kristie to place my initial order of their breakfast buffet and she also recommended additional items to make it more "brunch" like. I circled back with them closer to my date and was not able to reach Kristie. Come to find out she had left the company so I was now working with Lindsey. Lindsey finalized my order and we were good to go . That morning they arrived on time and set up the spread , the delivery guy did forget some of the utensils so he had to run back to get them. Overall I was very happy with the food and service. My family really enjoyed everything and they were pleased as well. The entire process was very professional and I liked the fact that they catered for smaller events I had around 65 people to feed. The only issue I did have was with the follow up after the event....nobody from the company reached out to see if I was happy with the services or just to check in . I did speak to Lindsey the day of the event but I expected at least an email for follow up. read more

I used Queen City Catering for my wedding this past June.The food was delicious and very fresh. They offered a great variety when we went to our tasting and they offer great hospitality. The team of caterers worked really hard at my reception making sure that everybody was perfectly satisfied. We had an outdoor wedding, and it began to pour down rain as I walked down the aisle. After I ran into the tent to escape the rain, Shannon was the first person to check on me and make sure that I was doing okay. I really appreciated that because it was very stressful.
