smoked Pork, mac, and baked beans bbq/buffalo sauce
Vicki S.

everything is smoked! So you know the flavors are cooked in . From traditional pork and brisket to wings (seasonal), chicken, salmon (yes salmon!) and hot dogs for the kids- everything is smoked. The mac& cheese, and baked beans and sweet potatoes too Only thing that's not is the egg rolls and the slaw but it's dry rub slaw the same dry rub used to smoked the meat. Go for the famous BBQ sundae with a layer of beans, mac, choice of meat, sauce: BBQ (mix between East/West NC)or Buffalo, and slaw on top * Mix BBQ & buffalo Sauce-thank me later. Sandwiches(no side) Meat Plate (2 sides) Sides avg $2-$3 (you can ask for a side plate) Drinks $1 My favorite is a Salmon sundae with a BBQ Buffalo mix-Thank me later! Perfect for private, small, large events and everything in between. You'll enjoy your meal whatever you have.

Probably the best. Tyler's in Amarillo is #1 in the country and this rivals their recipe.

Just tried their food truck at Sycamore Brewery. The first thing that caught me was the pricing. For just $11, I got a huge portion of chopped pork, Mac and cheese AND sweet potatoes. The bbq was the perfect balance of Smokey and sweet - I'm dying to try it on a sandwich with some slaw. The Mac and cheese was creamier than I expected but still had a nice thick top layer. And the sweet potato was literally perfect, didn't need anything extra. More than anything, it was quick! I was so surprised their line wasn't wrapped around!

Yuuuurpp this food truck is legit!!! My 2nd food truck experience in Charlotte (they were at South End Food Truck Friday) since I moved here a few months ago. I asked "what should I experience?" The handsome fella that worked the truck said "Pork BBQ SUNDAE!" It was amazing!!! Layers of pork bbq, max & cheese, slaw that wasn't just coleslaw (I don't eat coleslaw) this slaw was something yummy, and baked beans. Try it out and don't be all "that sounds fat & gross" just do it!!! It's like your bbq picnic plate and you pushes your fork thru everything for a perfect bite!

We ordered the bbq at a Kannapolis Intimidators game, and it was awesome. We ordered the sundae dog, which as a hot dog topped with Mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. We also got the pork bbq plate with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was delicious! The pulled pork was smoky with sweet bbq on top, some crunchy bits and ends. Lots of local bbq places don't have great sides, but this place had awesome sides. The coleslaw was creamy and crunchy but really flavor with dry rub spice mixed it. The Mac and cheese was awesome, cheesy, delicious. The people in the truck were super friendly and nice even though they were busy and it was crazy hot. The prices were good for the amount of food you got, and really just super delicious! We will be back to try the bbq sundae and chicken!

My goodness this place has good food! It isn't just a food truck, they are in the former Maestro building on Johnston Rd in historic Pineville! They'll be moving to the house at the main corner when their place gets torn down for the townhouse project in Pineville. Hmmm good!!!

Wild Bill's BBQ - The Pit Smoked Sandwich

This place caught our attention from some people we trust on Instagram. An important note is that…read morethose people got special influencer free deliveries. I'm pretty sure the same people that are behind Horace's Hot Fried Chicken are behind this. They're delivery only. They don't deliver very far, so we went to Archdale Park. The delivery fees are hefty. It was $6.75 to get it delivered to the address they make it at. Up to $10 to get it delivered to the park. Our order: Pit Smoked Sandwich (pulled pork), Hot Queso Brisket Barbecue Sandwich, Big Rib Sandwich, Burnt Ends Dirty Rice. I'm torn on how to rate this place because the sandwiches were really good despite how bad the meat was. Both the ribs and brisket were so dry and chewy. We both almost choked on the brisket. The bread, queso, slaw, pickles, etc did make it an enjoyable sandwich despite how dry it the meat was though. The pulled pork wasn't dry, but it was also the least interesting sandwich. The rib and pulled pork sandwiches had a ton of meat on them. The queso on the brisket was amazing. The trend continued with the dirty rice. The burnt ends were incredibly dry and chewy. The rice was really flavorful and delicious though. The prices don't seem bad until all of the fees kick in. They really add up. This was the most expensive takeout we've had. I hope they offer a takeout option without all of the fees soon. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not dying to try it again. I definitely didn't think it was nearly as good as Horace's.

The meats my wife and I shared were much drier than bbq should be and was chewy. I don't think they could stand on their own. That being said, I still really enjoyed it!

Corporate 86'ed it. It truly was the best we have had. I ordered their formerly wonderful sausage gravy over two biscuits, with two fried eggs to order ($13). I usually get it over rye toast, so the biscuits were not what I was used to. The gravy was very thick and did not have any flow to it. Too much "bread" to not enough gravy. And the flavor was "off". What a shame as that, too, had been a highlight menu item. Will give it another shot on another visit. Wife, who does not eat eggs, ordered her favorite the Left Coast BLT with pesto pasta salad ($15). Somehow, she did not like something with it. To be later investigated. This was a weekday breakfast, as we avoid the mob scene crowds of the weekends. But, there was only one waitress with the hostess helping shuttle prepared dishes from kitchen to table. Our wait to order was very long. Come on, guys...you can and have done better. Tighten it up, please.
