I come every time my car is being serviced.. I was here in November, ordered an omelet it was very good. I ordered the same thing today. It had very little cheese too many tomato's . It was suppose to be a ham and cheese. I thought the tomato's were just gonna be a garnish. They were cooked in the omelet. I didn't like that. It was a definitely a different cook this time.. I think the next time I come I'll stick with something simple, like a grill cheese or something like that... The service is excellent.. I don't expect the food to always be good but today I was not happy with the food... So I did tip for the great service not the food. Maybe it will be better next time..

We happened upon this gem while looking for a juicy burger on my first foray from the house a week after surgery. It was a wonderful surprise- what what- INSIDE a car dealership? The signature burger was among the top 10 I've ever eaten! Caution- it's à la carte, so no side comes with the burger. We got the fries to share; they were plentiful but eh. The Nor'East pickled beet salad was huge and dense and yummy with a lot of feta. A full meal on its own!

If I could give Nor'East Family Treats & Eats more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to see you--something that's rare to find these days. The food is phenomenal across the board. Their breakfast baskets are hearty and made with love. What I love most is that everything feels homemade and thoughtful, from the portion sizes to the presentation. It's comfort food at its best. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just treating yourself to dessert, Nor'East is the kind of place that instantly becomes a favorite. I'm so glad Charlotte has this gem--highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and even better people!

This place was unexpected in the best way possible! Stopped at the ford dealership and after a nice sales rep (Michael Vance) who actually asked me questions about what I was looking for in a car. We asked where to have lunch and they recommended the restaurant inside. I had my doubts but both the burger and the service far exceeded any burger have had anywhere! Got the jalapeño popper special with fries.

Chicken Ceaser Wrap

The customer service was great. Helped us understand the specials for the day and was accommodating on substitutions. Order the chicken Cesar wrap and it was so big I couldn't finish it in one setting. Definitely good as leftovers for sure. There is enough sitting space and room to get around if you have accessibility concerns. They have enough items on their item for any and everyone so definitely give the a try for breakfast or lunch. Open to the public!

What an amazing hidden gem inside a car dealership! One of my friends works at the dealership so I met her here for lunch, was my first time there and best believe won't be my last! Service was exceptional, some of the friendliest staff I've ever met! The cashier was very patient with me while I made my choices because I literally wanted to try everything haha. I had a lot of questions and he was so nice answering what he could and if he didn't know the answer, he got the owner and he would answer for me. I settled in on the Vermont maple burger. Fresh egg, melty cheese, perfectly cooked bacon and some of the best seasoned patties I've ever had. The burger was so good I wanted to cry in happiness lol. The onion rings were amazing too. When the cashier brought out my plate, one of the onion rings slipped on the floor, before he cleaned it up, he was so nice to go back to the kitchen to get me a fresh one to replace it. Then came back and promptly got the fallen ring off the floor. I mean seriously top notch customer service! With this place being less than 10min from home, I am abt to be a regular! Oh and I got the strawberry pie to go, tasted just like how mama used to make it, I don't think you can go wrong with anything here!

Ohhhh my...there needs to be a Nor'east Treats & Eats in every neighborhood. Definitely have to add a pie and cookie to your meal. As much as I don't want to keep coming back to the Town and Country Ford service department, I may have to - to taste the rest of the menu which I'm sure is delicious like everything I've had. What a gem.

Everything was great! Service was so friendly, from the young man that took our order to the hard working couple who make a lot of the food from scratch. My husband thought it was one of the best burgers he's had in Charlotte. Bourbon Glaze Burger the bomb!! Onion rings were solid and the Awesome sauce was flavorful. Monday-Saturday with Breakfast all day!!! Closes @ 3 You got to try this casual place!

Found the Nor'East Family Treats and Eats food truck at the Matthew's community farmers market. The market hours were over but they were still making food for shoppers. We got the Maine Meat Monster Breakfast Basket. It was layers of deliciousness covered in white gravy. All of the breakfast staples are in this basket. Eggs and cheese, bacon, sausage and hasbrowns were all cooked to perfection. I would definitely order this basket again. The Nor'East Family Treats and Eats truck is bringing the New England flare and recipes to the south and I'm loving it. Can't wait to try more of what they offer. Cheeseburger Slider and fries with awesome sauce

Seriously delicious burgers and fries. This truck takes pride in what they do and it shows. Their food is consistent. I have never had anything from this truck that has been less than 5 stars. The awesome sauce lives up to its name and the fries are addictive. Lastly, the family who owns this truck truly value their customers and deliver with the very best service. Customer for life:)

Optimist Hall itself is a very food-centric, upscale food hall with a ton of vendors, so the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Seating can be a little challenging during peak dinner hours since so many people are grabbing food from different spots, but when the weather is nice there's plenty of outdoor seating. Harriet's keeps their burger formula refreshingly simple. It's a classic smash burger done right--made to order with a straightforward menu that doesn't overcomplicate things. There's usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly, and the burgers come out hot and fresh. One of the best parts of eating here is the flexibility of the food hall experience. While you're waiting, you can grab a craft beer, a glass of wine, or even browse for dessert from one of the other vendors. Insider tip: Come with a group if you can. It's a great place to share fries and let everyone explore different vendors around the hall. Parking is fairly easy with the nearby garage, which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Overall, Harriet's is a fun, delicious stop for a smash burger, especially if you're already enjoying the energy of Optimist Hall.

I live super close to Optimist Hall, so it's been on my radar for a while. This particular night I wasn't feeling great, so I DoorDashed instead of dining in. I ordered the Royale with crispy fries and let me just say... I get it. The burger was genuinely impressive. The quality of the beef stood out immediately. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The meat to bun ratio was spot on, which is crucial. Nothing worse than a bread heavy burger. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the build was balanced, and even after delivery, everything held up beautifully. So far I've tried two burger spots in Charlotte, and this one takes the top spot. I'm not ready to declare it the best in the entire city just yet because my burger tour is ongoing, but right now it's leading the race. I'll definitely be going to Optimist Hall soon to try it fresh off the grill and experience the service and atmosphere firsthand. Expect an update. But based on this first round alone, Harriet's is absolutely worth the order. Burger lovers, this one deserves a try.

Think that perfect meat-cheese-bread ratio you get at an In-N-Out: not too big, not too messy, not dripping everywhere, but still juicy and satisfying. A burger you can actually pick up and enjoy without resorting to a knife and fork like George Costanza. That's why I appreciate Ace No. 3. Their menu is refreshingly simple -- burgers, fries, shakes -- and that simplicity tells me they know exactly what they do well. Everything is made to order, and the consistency shows. The Ace burger is my go-to, and it delivers every time. The shoestring fries are excellent, and the sweet potato tots are another favorite. I've also treated myself to a milkshake here and there, and they're worth it. Fun bonus: they offer "boozy shakes" for adults, which adds a playful twist -- just note they have to be enjoyed on site. They also keep a short, rotating list of beers, which I appreciate. It's curated, not overwhelming. One thing I noticed recently -- and as a fellow marketer, I have to applaud this -- is their milkshake happy hour from 2-4 PM. That's a smart strategy to drive traffic during slower hours between lunch and dinner. Simple, effective, and well executed. A few practical notes: Parking can be a little tight because the lot behind the restaurant is small, but if you go during off-peak hours or order ahead for pickup, it's manageable. The Belmont neighborhood location is easy to get in and out of, and while it's not a high-traffic pedestrian area, that can actually work in your favor. Bottom line: As someone who grew up with West Coast burger culture, this is the closest I've found in Charlotte to that classic, satisfying bite -- even if it costs a bit more than In-N-Out. The quality and execution make it worth it. Get out there, eat well, be curious -- and follow me as I continue eating my way through Charlotte.

As a New Yorker we have our share of markets/food halls and OH fits the familiar script, with a slightly smaller footprint than what I've experienced. Nonetheless, to all the foodies at heart those are just minor details for mere mortals... lol. We managed to grab a larger enough table and everyone circled until we made our individual choices and then returned to our central meeting spot to break bread and indulge in all of our finds. We enjoyed several of the eateries we experienced and I was particularly intrigued by the plant store (albeit kinda pricey). Return is a no brainer especially for the places that were most memorable.
