Frustrating failed visit. Found this restaurant on Yelp and was pleased with reviews and menu. Planned visit Tuesday evening before noted closing time. Called cab and arrived at East End well before 7 only to find the location closed but with the following schedule posted for their locations. Had cab driver take our group to Frenchtown location. Found it closed as well. Had tried to call ahead to confirm but got voicemail full error. Found a note on one of their Facebook pages later that both locations are closed until 9/28. Would have been helpful to have posted that at store as well instead of a calendar of open times that aren't good at the moment. Certainly would not have traveled from East End to Frenchtown if we had known it would also be closed. read more

Seriously the best Ahi Tuna taco I have ever eaten!!! So good - highly recommend this spot if you are in the area. The ahi tuna taco was served in a crispy wonton shell which tasted amazing! Amazing tacos. Truly amazing. we are visiting from Michigan and I haven't ever had better tacos. They are known for house made tortillas and fresh squeezed lime juice = great margs!! Food was good but their hours are sketchy so its a hit or miss. We would eat there again but probably only for lunch.. spent 58$ on 6 tacos, chips and Queso and 2 sides of street corn. The next night we went to a different place and got 2 steak dinners, dessert and drinks for 68$ so again.. This place way over priced but worth trying it 1 time and then you can decide for yourself. Stopped here for lunch while on vacation. It is an excellent taco restaurant! The prices are per taco and two was a nice meal. These are not your standard street tacos. They are so much more. I highly recommend the pork with pineapple salsa (#3) and the shredded beef with Monterrey Jack cheese and "Diablo sauce" (#12). The play on words in the name is also very clever and i didn't pick up on it right away. When I read it, I was pronouncing the "ch" as a hard "ch" sound, kind of like chili. But while there we learned that the owner's name is Michelle, which changed the ch to a "sh" sound. Love it! read more

The shrimp was fresh, delicious and the taco was packed with flavor. All the shrimp tacos were good as was the blackened fish and the pork carnitas. The following were just ok: chicken tinga, beef barbacoa, and the fried fish taco. Either the meat or toppings lacked flavor. Still tasty have had ones with better flavor. Would also recommend not sitting on the side facing the ditch/near the bathroom. The ditch didn't smell the best. However, would recommend this spot. Some of the best tacos we've had and one of our best meals in St Thomas. read more

We spotted this little shop on a grocery run and were glad we did. The tacos are AMAZING...my personal favorite was the black pepper seared tuna on a wonton shell, but all of the fish varieties were great as was the pulled pork one. Between the rest of my family we tried just about everything but the vegetarian one, and nobody had anything bad to say about anything. The street corn was a favorite as well, and we went for the Three Amigos...the queso disappeared but it was all good, and the papas and queso was, not surprisingly, quite tasty. My wife and I are planning a trip to Saint John next year, and we will be sure to plan enough time to stop by for tacos on our way to the ferry when we arrive as well as on our way back to the airport when we depart. read more

Tacos in name only, tortillas are not great and the flavor of the fillings is almost nonexistent. We tried fish, chicken and beef, and none of them were great. The fish was especially disappointing. The kids did like the ground beef ones, but that's possibly because of the large quantity of cheese in them.
