Benbrook Blvd - I'm hooked and a regular. I bet I go once a week and enjoy the quick drive thru but going inside to eat is nice too. In all the times I've been over the last 10 years I cannot recall ever getting an order that wasn't what I had asked for. I think this is because there is no speaker for the drive thru, you drive to window and tell the person working the drink machine what you want. I don't believe there is a faster restaurant In Benbrook than Taco Casa. I used to go to Taco Bell until PepsiCo bought them and changed the way they prepared their food. The flavor was lost. When I discovered Taco Casa, I swear they took the old Taco Bell flavor of the 70's and it is so awesome to have discovered that taste lives on!! Love the spicey sauce, the sift tortillas, the hot sauce.. all memory lane for me. Thank you ! But also, the people hired to work the restaurant are genuinely nice and I enjoy seeing them each week when I go. I wanted to try this Taco Casa in Weatherford near the WISD football stadium, and definitely discovered this is the place where students feel safe to hang out when school is out and they are waiting on their parents to pick them up. I decided to go inside since the drive-thru line was super long, and was fortunate to be able to find a table. This is a hoping' place! Their menu is colorful and a bit busy, but found just a basic crunchy beef taco and refried beans. Even though they had a crowd to serve, it took no time to serve up what I had ordered. The beans (frijoles) were super hot, which I love, with the famous Taco Casa sauce and cheese. It was almost a meal in itself! I was really surprised at the tacos and how much they were stuffed with beef and cheese. The beef isn't over seasoned, and gives the diner the option to season their beef to their taste. Unlike Taco Bell, which over seasons their beef and gives a little drizzle of beef at the bottom of a very thin taco. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and was even told to leave my trash on the table so they could clean it up. Nice job! I will say on a recent visit I was charged more for the same products I purchased two times before, so I think that is the only incident that prevents them from getting five stars. read more

I'm over 40 years old and have been going to Taco Casa since I was a child. This was the worst food I've ever been served at any Taco Casa. Paid over $30 to feed 3 people and most of it went in the trash! The 2 orders of super nachos had VERY little servings of meat/ beans/ tomatoes/ and sour cream. Like 2 small chips worth! The whole thing looked and tasted like it was days old... hard beans and the tomatoes had almost no color to them, gross. The cheese was watered down to a soupy, chunky, slosh. Plus we specifically requested jalapeños and received zero! All the burritos were poorly made and the tortillas were hard and split open. I was very disappointed! I work really hard to provide for my family. Life is very hard in the times we're in. I took my family out for a "treat" (because we usually love Taco Casa), and spent hard earned money to end up throwing it in the trash and eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I would like some kind of compensation. At the very least a sincere apology. read more

If you like clean tables, fast service, fresh ingredients and the best authentic Mexican food in Texas- look no further than Taco Casa. As a person who has enjoyed Taco Bell for multiple decades, I never really thought that Authentic Mexican food could get any better until I tried the Casa today. Woah boy did it change my outlook on what a taco is really supposed to taste like. Sure, TBell has all these cool names and intricate menu items and cool commercials with a little dog but they aint got what Taco Casa's got. The Casa uses real Texas Black Angus Certified USDA 100% real beef first of all, this is not meat from concentrate like their competitors. Secondly, when it comes to the fixins, that lettuce and tomater is about as close to the garden as you can get. This place is the definition of farm to table. Lastly, Taco Casa keeps it clean and simple. They may not supply baja blasts and 35 different levels of hot sauce but Casa supplies quality. Better ingredients, better Tacos - Taco Casa. Their restaurants are always well taken care of and it reminds me of the great American quality that existed in restaurants in the 70's. Clean tables, clean restrooms and friendly service. Not to mention, 1 super taco still costs less than a gallon of gasoline. Needless to say, next time I am driving through West Texas, you better bet your bottom dollar I'll be fueling up with Diesel fuel and a couple Super Tacos from The Casa. read more

After waiting in the drive through line for OVER 30 minutes I ordered the super nachos. I got home and there was a small handful of ground beef, a small handful of refried beans (enough to cover 5 chips). I paid $5 more than they were worth. Let's start with the outlook of this "restaurant" it part its way with a freaking gas station! Then the sanitary problems with have no regards for anyone's by not using gosh dang gloves! The staff at this establishment were very rude and disrespectful. They made sexual comments and remarks towards my 13 year old daughter. The food was absolutely revolting, I found a dead gecko in my fajita. No one was wearing a mask when making my food, someone was coughing but I couldn't quite see their name tag, I think the name was Jessie. If you have some taco cravings or burrito jonesing then this is a pretty good bet. Sure it's cheap, salt, fat and calorie laden- but man- it's actually pretty good. They cook things fresh and the veggies are good and crisp. I much prefer this to Taco Bell as I don't taste that out of a metal can flavor. Unfortunately we hit this drive-thru WAY too often. It is on the "way" home and the kids like it. It's a gas-station with a drive-thru small restaurant on the end. Back to the basic simple well done fast food... tacos, burritos, tostadas, etc with copious mounts of cheese on everything. Sister in law & me went and spent $40.00 on tacos & burritos for our large family ( 18 tacos & 6 burritos)... the burritos were great... however all 18 tacos had stale shells... I called to let the manager know & asked what could be done to make this right... she made me feel like I was trying to get food for free... and also blamed the fact that they got "soft" on the drive home that if we ate them in the restaurant they would be crispy...(I live five minutes away)... I have ordered food from there many times to go and have taken it to my husband's work which is 20 minutes away and they have always been crispy... she specifically said I don't know what you are wanting me to do replace all 18 tacos I can't do that...she never apologized for The shells being stale more or less questioned me as to what does "stale" mean...& said they are all made fresh every morning at 7:30 here it is 2 o'clock in the afternoon ...I was very offended and I thought it was quite rude that she was blaming the entire situation on me...
