The food is typical Taco Casa--I'm a TC fan so I like it. The problem, (and it's a HUGE problem for me) is the line where the food is assembled is ALWAY FILTHY. In my teenage years I worked in a couple of taco places. I understand how hard, (but NOT impossible!) it is to keep everything clean during a rush. But why can't you grab a rag and give your area a quick wipe when you get a chance? Even when I have been in during a slow time, the line is filthy. There's no excuse!!! Does management not care??? It's fast, not friendly, and cheap... tastes cheap. Basically, it's no better than Taco Bell or Taco Bueno, both of which would also earn their 2 stars. The 17 minute wait in the drive thru was exciting... the lady in front of me was ordering for everyone. And she wasn't pushed through to wait. She waited at the window while they prepped everything. The employees were rude, inconsiderate, and probably won't score a long lasting career anytime soon. The food was just meh. But that's what I expected. It was pretty cheap, but it's fast food. First of all, Taco Casa is fast food taco and burrito goodness. Eat at a Taco Casa and you may never darken Bell's door again. Having said that - this location only gets three stars from me because of the state of which the restaurant was in when I visited today. The decor has deteriorated, the bathroom was on the dirty side (I really don't want to know how a wad of used toilet paper got stuck to the ceiling), and the inside of the place smelled like a wet dog. Especially for being the first Taco Casa I ate at years ago, it was a bit of a disappointment. Taco Casa has limited menu choices, but what they make they make well. As far as I can tell, all ingredients are made in-house (they are almost always making refried beans from scratch). Food items are LOADED with cheese and tomatoes. It may come in packets, but the taco sauce only makes everything three times better. When they first opened, the prices were ridiculously cheap; they seem to have steadily climbed over the years though. You can still get a lot of food for a good price though. They also have specials for large numbers of tacos or burritos. Clean the place up and refresh the building and you'll get the other two stars back! read more

I grew up eating Taco C in W'Ford. BUT the Burleson site is incompetent with customer service. I play softball every Tuesday and after the game I used to like getting dinner at the Burleson Taco Casa. This location consistently fails to accurately compile my order. This location is incapable of adding extra red sauce to Mild bean burritos.... I have watched them make my food time and time again ignoring the XTRA SAUCE line item. Why??? Additionally; this location wastes man hours with too many team members standing idle. At 9:30 pm you can Literally observe 05 workers doing nothing productive. This is obscene given the fact that they can't add extra red sauce to a burrito. Poor poor leadership with wasted labor. The District Manager has definite room for process improvement at this location. Take a trip to the weatherford location to see how a great process is orchestrated. read more

This place even before covid always takes at least 30 minutes to get through the drive through! They also mess up orders all the time. Just today I ordered 3 orders of super nachos, I received 4 boxes of chips and 2 boxes of the fixings! How does that happen? I've reported mistakes to the store before and they don't care. read more

I went through the drive thru this afternoon and received half of what i ordered and wasn't given a receipt. I didn't notice the missing items until I reached home, so after noticing i tried calling and calling and calling some more...no answer. Yum! This place is old school Mexican-American fast food, so don't expect anything close to authentic. What they do have is very good though, and they give lots of meat, cheese, and condiments in their tacos and burritos. The one thing I can say about Taco Casa is, if you like cheese, this is the place to go. They do not skimp on the cheese like those other mexican food chains (Bueno and Bell). All in all, it is a better choice than taco bell. But that's not saying much. Rosa's is a better choice for Mexican fast food. read more

Astonishingly slow. Wow. I waited 15-20 minutes in line (2 cars ahead of me). After I paid, I figured it'd be quick because I only ordered a plain nachos. Nope. I waited 10 minutes for that. My mouth involuntarily dropped in disbelief as the minutes ticked by and I watched several employees inside looking "busy," yet clearly none of them were working on my order. I love Taco Casa but this Burleson location is nasty! I was in the drive thru last Friday and happened to look In the window at their kitchen. Filthiest kitchen I have ever seen! There was taco meat, cheese, sauce drippings and God only knows what else covering every surface. I was so grossed out. Then they hand me my burrito, the bag, wrapper, and paper bowl they sat it in were all filthy and covered in splattered sauce, random bits of meat and lettuce (and I ordered a bean burrito) so I guess this was debris from the countertops. I drove off and threw that burrito straight in the trash. Their food prep area is downright unsanitary! I would suggest avoiding this location unless you don't mind risking food poisoning. read more

The food was ok, I loved my chili burger, but the kitchen was disgusting and the cashier that rang me up, a plus size girl with reddish dyed hair, smelled like BO all the way across the counter. Horrible service. The person taking my order over the intercom was rude and bad at her job. It was obvious she is not that educated. She was short and when I asked about vegetarian options she replied "huh, we dont do dat here" Then i asked if i could have a bean and rice burrito and she replied "WHAT" .....i drove off. The food taste great but when I got my order I looked at it and it was very messy and sloppy wrapping and sauce was everywhere.

Over the last year they have declined tremendously in service. You wait in line for no less than 30 minutes because they are so slow. I love the food but that's ridiculous. This last time they screwed up my order. I was in my pj's so I couldn't go in. The line was long so I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes in line. I saw a worker walking in and asked if he could help. His reply "no I clicked out you will just have to go in". Really? I come here often something about it is addicting like crack. Does sweet tea is off the hook. The ice is even better. I know its only fast food but some days I wonder where they hire these people. Some of the people are super friendly other people are downright rude. Everytime I go through the line I generally get my kids are courtesy drink which is awesome that they do that and I know tons of people are not 7 getting a drink. However the other day was in drive thru ordered only 3 items one being a large sweet tea in addition to those items I got to courtesy drinks. The lady who took my order actually asked me if I was going to drink those. I was like wow. For several weeks in a row came into the drive thru any young lady didn't know how to use an ice scoop she was constantly taking her dirty long nails and scooping up drinks. I text the owner the number right there at the drive thru and he immediately address the issue. And every time since then which has been like 400 times they have used the ice scoop. A great place to get the nachos you're craving for a good price: comparable to many mexican fast food places, yet usually always, the atmosphere is nice and you can order all tacos/burritos/nachos/salad/and drinks the way you like them. The servers are friendly and helpful. There are lots of workers staffed here, which get your food to you quickly. Yes, I will agree that the drive thru is usually packed with cars and it's slow to wait for it, but you can always go inside and get good, fast (usually) service, to go, if you need to. The drinks are delicious and definitely excellent on a hot day, but you have to ask for the amount of ice you would like in them, otherwise, you may get a whole lot of it! All of the people reviewing this restaurant may need to just put this in the category of mexican fast food, and it has it's own flavors and qualities. Some of the other places are just different places-have different choices/types of mexican food to get. The Beans here are standard refried, and I, personally don't order them, but a lot of people seem to. The discount coupon calendar is great and helps out with the cost of lots of things there-glad I finally got to try the salad in the edible bowl with one coupon!
