First time at Taco Casa ever! We stopped here while driving though Arlington. The restaurant is incredibly clean. You can see the full kitchen which is spotless and the bathrooms are also well maintained. The staff here were SO nice and let us know that all off the food is made to order. I ordered a burrito and replaced the meat with extra beans and a Dr. Pepper. It was national burrito day and I didn't even realize it at the time! My food was great-- healthy portion, good flavor, and it was made quickly. I enjoyed their hot sauce on my burrito as well. The Dr. Pepper was extra good too because they have chewy ice! I'm ashamed to admit it, but I eat why too much Taco Casa. Mainly because it's priced reasonably, food is freshly made (to order), and it sticks with you. Also, it's quickly grabbed and go when in a hurry. Now, not all TC's are the same. Two TC's I recommend are the Cooper Store near UTA and the Eastchase location off Bridge St. (Hwy 30). Something about a fresh and crunchy taco shell that they make every morning fresh. These two locations also seemed to season the food better than the other locations. Other locations I have come across some very stale tacos, cold refried beans / taco meat, or rude employees. Too bad more TC's don't stepp up their game. I ordered super taco and there was barely any lettuce but even less sour cream. I asked for a little sour cream because there was hardly any on it. I got attitude and was informed I will have to pay for it. I said there was hardly any on it and I just want a small amount The kid said FiNE I'll just pay for it then with a snotty attitude and sled it across the counter. There is not a lot you can say about a fast food restaurant but Taco Casa deserves a shoutout!! I have never heard of the chain before coming to a wrestling tournament next door at Arlington HS. The menu is all ala carte. They are a bit more pricy than Taco Bell but the taco shell tasted really great and had lots of cheese and lettuce. I added sour cream. I would eat here over Taco Bell it tasted that good comparatively. Also, the staff was super nice and helpful!! read more

There is something different about the way this taco casa prepares its food. I been here multiple occasions during different times and its always been different. The nachos chips they have here don't seem to taste as good or crunchy like other locations. Despite those small differences they still carry on like most other locations. This location looks just like the other, same menu, the same layout except this location has a patio to sit outside on a nice day. It is located next to a high school so if you don't want to eat your lunch in a crowded restaurant avoid the are mon - fri during the lunch rush. For the most part the restaurant is clean. The employees are at best average in customer service. They dont greet you when you walk in, they are not as attentive about getting customers refills so they could improve on that. I have noticed this location does not have lemon juice. All other locations have this for people to use on the sweet tea. I am disappointed in this and therefore don't feel confident in giving them a 5 star review. read more

They keep getting my order wrong. On one occasion, they gave me the food of the person ahead of me in the drive through. Many occasions, they forget one or more items, and I end up paying money for something that isn't even there. The times that we do catch it, the service is nice about it. Both managers have been very understanding and the order gets corrected as soon as possible. Again, I have no problems with the management in this taco casa, but it seems that a good majority of the rest of the staff is either unfocused at best or willfully ignorant. I love how fresh taco casa food is compared to others, and let's not say they aren't shy on the cheese. I like the nachos, hard tacos and the taco salad are my go to things. On Friday's they have a deal going on at this location for $5 Nachos and the Taco Salad, and I love me a good deal. read more

I love going to taco casa but when you receive 28 hot sauce packets it becomes a bit ridiculous especially when they ask you if you want sauce and you tell them no. It's just wasteful at this point. I come here a couple times a week and I bet I have over 100 hot sauce packets at home now. LOL read more

I like to think that all you Taco Casa fans can personally thank me for this one in Arlington. A few years ago, I wrote to TC and told them that they needed to open one in Arlington. While they did not indicate that they would take me up on my suggestion then, I still say you should thank me. You're welcome! I am a fan of tacos and all things related to Mexican food. And, while I know that Taco Casa is not Mexican street food and it wouldn't hold a flaming jalapeño to authentic Mexican comida de tu madre, it is still delicious for what it is. What it is IS a quick taco bite that is baptized in cheese. Cheese glorious cheese, so luscious and tasty. Whatever you order expect it to be drenched in shredded cheese, and that's the way I like it. If my lap is not covered in cheese remnants after I've eaten a Taco Casa Light Taco, then something is amiss. I suggest you order the Taco Light, which is not lower in calories by the way, and ask for onions to be added to your cup of frijoles. You won't be disappointed. The Cooper Street TC is always clean and orderly, and the front counter staff is nice and friendly and ready to take care of all your tacos needs. Anyway, that's my side of the menu! :) read more

I mean nothing fancy, cause it is fast-food Tex-Mex, but it is the best in my opinion. This location is ALWAYS incredibly clean. From the floors, kitchen, and tables, it is well kept. I have never had anything that tasted bad here and the combo burritos and tacos are always my go-to. The tortillas have always been fresh and I have never had anything that was stale or not freshly made. I have been too other Taco Casa locations and this one is the best. was one of my favorite Taco Casa locations, nice lobby, good food, good staff, not worth a $183 ticket. Arlington speed trap. Street is 35 MPH (where most streets in Arllington of that size are 40 MPH) and they like to machine gun out tickets at the end of the month. I will not go through Arlington much less that part of Arlington again. (I would rate as a 5, loved this location, but the above expressed, which is not their fault, I could not rate a 4, and they didn't deserve a 1 (my original rating of the overall circumstances.) Never again. Walked in, three workers look up at us and then go back to whatever they were doing. BTW no other customers in the joint. We stand there for a few minutes and not one employee says one word to us. Quite sad and strange at the same time. Love Taco Casa! LOVE that I can get a large tea for the same price as a small. The only complaint I have about this location is that they have started putting less cheese on their food. What happened? One of the draws (for me) is the awesome amount of shredded cheese that came on my tostada and tacos. read more

I don't really understand this place. The new restaurant is great; lots of space, everything is new and shiny. The food though is the question mark. I've never been to a TC before. I saw the new building driving down one night and thought I'd give them a shot. There is nothing special about what I had which was a tostada and taco. Sure they were fine but I didn't think they were any better than Taco Bueno or Del Taco. I had to customize my order and not get olives. Maybe that's what I did wrong?? I doubt it because I hate olives. I also don't like much sour cream and everything has that too. I like sour cream but am not a huge fan so maybe that's part of it too? To dissect it though, the beef was good, the shell was the best part being nice and crispy, the cheese was good and there was lots of it, the hot sauce was bland. All together it was just ok. I don't get how they can afford such a nice new place with such pedestrian and plain food. read more
