The staff was extremely friendly, all were fully masked. The tables inside for socially distance and everything was very well cleaned. My husband had the pork chili rellenos. He has had this dish in other places but nothing compares to this version. It was heavenly. The flavors were delicious. It was served with rice that was delicious and flavorful and a small bowl of beans that had some pork in it as well. He couldn't have been more pleased with the selection. I had the steak fajitas which were a large serving, and also delicious. They were served with the same wonderful rice, refried beans, and homemade flour tortillas. It was an amazing dish it also had some pico to Gallo, and fresh guacamole that was out of this world. I wish we lived closer because this would be a regular stop.

Too bad I was working, I would have ordered a beer. The beans and rice were good too but I wish they would use a good Mexican cheese on the beans. I asked for a spicier salsa and it was delicious. I may try them again if I'm ever back in town.

Service was very slow, which made no sense given how quiet it was. Food breakdown: * The "enchiladas" looked more like tacos, but to be fair, they actually had a lot of flavor. * Beans were really good -- probably the most solid side. * Rice was bland and overcooked. * Al pastor street tacos had zero flavor, which is disappointing since street tacos should be the foundation and staple of a place like this. * Cheese dip was very basic -- nothing special. * Salsa didn't impress me at all, no punch or flavor. * The homemade green hot sauce wasn't spicy at all. * The so-called chicken nuggets were literally Dino nuggets... and honestly, they were the best part of the visit. I really don't understand how you mess up street tacos when that should be your strong point. The food was inconsistent, service was slow, and the flavors just didn't deliver. Overall: some items were okay (beans, enchiladas), but for the price and expectations, it missed the mark.

Wifey had Fajitas Hidalgo: literally a pile of steak covered with bell pepper and onion smothered in cheese. A great Philly cheese steak with warm tortillas!! The ambience is mid, it's kind of dirty in there. I half expected to see a roach or perhaps a rat even. The food is okay, could be better though. The fries taste like cardboard, but the Cajun style fries are great! The burger is bland--though that's probably because I just got a plain cheeseburger. However, some seasoning on it can make a very very big difference. I also like that they have a Coca Cola freestyle machine. I'd marry it if I could. Bonus; I saw this daffy x bugs drawing on the wall I thought was peak. Anyways overall it's not bad, but it's definitely not my first pick. Theres just nothing about it that stands out to me. ‍
