I cannot say enough great things about this taco stand. First, the owner is fabulous, she's always so quick to answer take out orders and she has the to go ordering system down to a science. The food is always 100000/10, I love the tortillas so much they taste like they are made with love. I have slowly but surely integrated this stand into my morning work routine and thanks to this them, I am able to get like half of my breakfast during the work week prepped. The prices are incredible considering this is Austin and no this is not your white washed Mexican food. This is authentic and the salasa prove it. I saw a tiktok video featuring this taco place and knew I had to try it. It seems I drive right by this place everyday on my way to work. Their hours are 7am-2pm which are also my work hours. Today I managed to make it 20 minutes before they closed. The women that took my order was very friendly! I ordered the beef fajita taco on a flour tortilla and a carnival taco on corn. Both were fresh and made to order. SO good. I also got to try the green and red sauce. I liked both. I was happy to hear breakfast is served all day. I can't wait to try this place again. This was my first visit here. I pass by frequently, I buy my gas at the Shell in the same lot. I always say Austin doesn't have any tacos as good as San Antonio. I stand corrected!!! Ordered 8 tacos a few days ago. They were delicious! And conveniently very close to my house. The lady who took my order and assuming the owner was very polite and apparently has been there for 15 years! The only downside is how expensive it was. For 8 tacos I paid $31.52 and left a $5 tip, total being $36.52. Each taco averaging $3.64. Even though they were yummy, I will most likely not go back. They also don't have the prices on their menu board, which I found odd. You'll have to wait for the grand total when you go pick the food up. read more

I've passed by this place several times. It's in the parking lot of a gas station. I was referred to this place on a mommy page as I'm always down for some good taco truck food! Today I stopped to get food for myself and my family. I had my toddler with me. I drove up and didn't realize there was another food truck in the same parking lot, on the W. Slaughter side. I turned onto West Gate and saw a sign for Taco Bella. I pulled in, parked, got my toddler out and went to order. The lady at the window was very nice. I ordered my food and paid. My toddler and I sat on the benches waiting for our food. While waiting I notice a picnic table across the parking lot just outside the gas station. They were a few youngsters sitting there. After a while I started to smell a very distinct smell that I recognized as weed. Well if I had been by myself I would not have really cared for the smoke that was drifting past my nose however I was with my toddler and did not want her exposed to that. I moved back to my car which was nearby. By the time I finished packing her up my order was ready. I went to grab my order and left. I got home and saw my food, Wow!!!!! It was massive! I ordered two tortas (one carnitas and one beef fajita) and two breakfast tacos. Omg to say the least!! I had to cut my torta into quarters, that's how big it was!!!! I miraculously had a tape measure on my kitchen table so I measured it!!! I was quite impressed!!! The taste was even better!!!! It was delicious!!! I couldn't have asked for a better torta! The tacos were average sized and had good flavor. It's currently 6p and I'm still full from eating the whole torta, and I ate it for lunch around 12 noon! I'll definitely be going back. This is a great little taco truck. The food was great, and the people were friendly. They were slammed with customers and even warned me but the food still came out pretty quick. Taco Bella's is our top neighborhood taco joint! My go-to is their chicken fajita taco. Perfectly seasoned, always tender with that just right char from the grill...and the fresh onion and cilantro with a little of either of their salsas (red or green) is one of my favorite bites in the city. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients they use. I also love that they add avocado to their migas taco. Strong move. My 5 year old, who is a refried bean connoisseur has declared that Bella's has the best around and compares every other bean to their's. And it's not just the tacos and beans - we love the ladies who run this place, too. Efficient and always so friendly and warm. They make us feel like family every time we visit. Aside from being practically starving this morning, I came here with high expectations....maybe too high. The tacos were an average size & made to order. But lacked flavor, 2 of my 3 tacos needed to be lightly salted. The Bean & Cheese was So-So and Bacon, Egg & Cheese was one strip of bacon, egg and EHH....Plain Jane. Now....the Al Pastor taco was Off the Hook BADASS! But was Small in comparison to my other two tacos. Cash only and speaking Spanish helps! They have pork and chicken tamales currently! Hangover and I have had a few morning walks to this little trailer eatery. Hangover is usually all grumpy and rude and still smelling like last night's wrong-turn-tequila shot. I put up with her cause we're family. And she's less unpleasant after I feed her. Piling on bean and cheese and tatoes atop a bacon and egg taco is affordable (and the way to go) at only .25 cent per extra item. I've yet to lunch here, mostly because Hangover likes to nap around noon on Taco Bella days, but I'd bet their carne asada is pretty tasty. I usually go for a little more umph and grease and gut-punch with my tacos. But for convenience, speed, overall goodness, these are good. Again - cash only. Bring it with you... if you have to go in and use the ATM in the Shell, with those non-bank service charges you just added $5.00 in expense to your otherwise really cheap meal. read more

We decided to try our luck at a local one right by my place, and my oh my, the tacos al pastor and breakfast tacos were so scrumptious :) It was a great day to snag some tacos, and when we walked up to it, I somehow just felt like this place was gonna hit the spot. Tacos Al Pastor 5/5: usually the tacos at other places are unusually small, but the two tacos I got were a good size, and the flavor was sublime. The meat was perfectly cooked, and I appreciated the little crunch I got with each bite. I made sure to get cilantro and sour cream, and oOoee it tasted finger lickin' good :) Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Taco 5/5: I had a bite of this, and the seasoning in the egg was super good, and they definitely were not stingy with the cheese.
