This is a great taco bell that we hang out all the time. Get our food fast, good food, and good service.

El Bueno Taco - Fairfield Commons Mall A 90s Mall Food Court…read moreThrowback... but make it delicious Walking into the Fairfield Commons food court felt like stepping straight back into a 90s mall montage--bright colors, neon vibes, and that classic food‑court energy we all secretly miss. And right there, tucked across from Bath & Body Works, is a small, non‑chain gem that absolutely deserves your attention: El Bueno Taco. Before you roll your eyes at "mall food," hear me out. This place is the real deal. The Food We ordered three Al Pastor tacos and a chorizo & steak sopes, and let me tell you--this is where El Bueno Taco shows off. Al Pastor Tacos Perfectly seasoned, slightly smoky pork with that signature hint of sweetness from the pineapple. The meat is tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. It's the kind of taco that makes you pause mid‑chew and go, "Oh... okay, they're not playing." Chorizo & Steak Sopes The sopes come out thick, warm, and beautifully crisp on the edges. The steak is tender and well‑seasoned, the chorizo brings that bold, savory kick, and the whole thing is layered with fresh toppings that make it feel hearty without being heavy. It's comfort food with personality. The Vibe Typical mall parking--well‑lit, plenty of space, easy in and out. The food court is on the second floor, and El Bueno Taco is easy to spot thanks to the fun, colorful décor that gives the whole area a cheerful, welcoming feel. Final Thoughts If you're craving tacos that taste like they came from a street‑side taquería rather than a mall, this is your spot. Small business, big flavor, and a nostalgic setting that somehow makes the whole experience even better. El Bueno Taco is officially on my "unexpected mall wins" list.

I love the food truck in Enon, so I was ecstatic when they were expanding and opening in the mall…read more It is high quality and authentic tacos! I love the combos that come with chips and cheese. I like getting the traditional tacos, one pork, chicken and steak! The chicken and steak are out of the world good!

I'm going to preface that we may have gone at a weird time since it was 4:30 and not everyone eats…read morethat early. My hope is that on Friday and Saturdays the place is hopping. This was my first time dining in. First impression was that it was very bare bones. There's nothing on the tables or walls. The only sounds are other guests and a tv displaying a sports channel. You seat yourself. Our server was fine. She came shortly after we sat down. But she seemed a little low on energy. Maybe it's been a long week for her. Either their AC is broken or they just don't have one. And all the fans are going in the wrong direction for summer weather. My husband was sweating through our meal and it made it hard for us to stay. The salsa is fresh and flavorful. I got the phoenix nachos and they were very good. My husband got the Baja fish tacos and said they were awesome. The guacamole could use a little more something. Maybe even a sprinkling of salt or garlic. I understand the business might be having a hard time keeping busy but the price of two meals and a large guac was over $50 after tip. So a little pricey. But I'm always happy to support small, local businesses. The food is good. The atmosphere could use a little help especially with the high temps outside.

The place was clean and service was friendly. Sat right at a bay window and watched the people walk…read moreby. It seemed to take an exceptionally long time for our order to arrive at table. The tacos, lacked any taste at all and the Diet Coke had a funny taste. The waitress didn't check on us and we received no silverware. At the present time I've only eaten half the meal and I'm waiting on a check so I can leave. I doubt I'd come back.
