We did a mobile order and we got the wrong burrito, customized grilled cheese burrito I asked for chicken, no chipotle sauce and no fiesta strips and avocado ranch, the first go round we did not receive the large fry or the burrito so we went back around. They corrected it and apologized but the burrito was a normal grilled cheese burrito with chicken and all the things that normally come on it. The fry they gave us was a medium fry instead of a large and there was a hair in it, the 10 pc chicken nuggets that the fries came with had 8 in there and 3 of them were tiny and ripped apart like it was one ripped into 3 and burnt af. We used to frequent this Taco Bell, but the customer service has gotten so bad that we stopped. There's always a line around the drive-through that never moves. Usually, the order is wrong as well. For years the wetumpka Taco Bell seemed sub-par,but that's not the case anymore. They have the nicest staff these days. We had confusing orders and they got everything correct. I thought this may be a one time thing but we went again today and they were even better. That's what I call a turnaround compared to two years ago. Good job! read more

Went through the drive-thru at the wetumpka Alabama Taco Bell at 2:15 and ordered a box of tacos and two Bell grande. The taco meat was so full of grease the tacos split in half at the bottom because they were soaking wet with grease and just fell apart. Updated: June 2015- My how time can change a review! Since the original post, this location has made a complete 180! They've consistently had our order correct for the last 6+ months, they've since completely remodeled and spruced up the place- inside and out, and the customer service is phenomenal. Actually, so much better that it's like being at a different location. One morning, we went thru at about 8-9 am and got b'fast via the drivethru. We circled around to the parking lot to separate the 3 people's food and we were met by an employee coming out to make sure we had our order correct and weren't just separating the food out. Furthermore, that same morning I dumped my drink all in my car. It was the ever-delicious Starburst Freeze, so of course I went inside to re-order, and the man from the drive thru (same employee who came to make sure our order was correct) recognized me and made a silly joke about getting a brainfreeze from drinking it too fast or something, and when I told him what happened, he offered to refill it. Unfortunately I had just thrown the cup way, but no worries, this guy filled up a new one, free of charge! I can't explain how much of a better establishment this place has become. Maybe a change in mangers? Definitely a change in the employees, but I'm willing to bet there's been a change in managerial staff, or maybe the guy/gal running it just woke up from a coma or something. 2 messy thumbs up to this staff, I gladly change the 2 stars to 5 stars. I've never had an experience with them that I was satisfied with the customer service. The food is always excellent and on point, mind you, and that's why I gave it two stars. However, that's the only reason it has two stars. There has only been about 10 times in the last 11 years we have lived here that we have not had an issue with our order going through the drive through or dining in. Actually, just this last Friday (May Second 2014) my wife drove thru and got back to work only to find out that they shorted her a griller... She might have considered going back, but it was a already so late and they are always so rude about it she just ate the cost of it, no pun intended, and finished eating. There has been numerous times, more times than not, that we have had an issue with an order and went to get it fixed and they acted like we were inconveniencing them...?... Pretty awful customer service at the Wetumpka location y'all. On another topic unrelated to food quality, the age is REALLY starting to show at this location... I'm beginning to wonder if corporate has forgotten about this location... I mean it is bad. There's one of the stools that you can pull off the pole.. The tables are all cracked and broken, it's just very outdated. If you're familiar with the area, it is NOTHING like the Prattville and Clanton locations. Very old. Very much in disarray. Again, food quality, I'd choose this location over Clanton any day... But customer service sucks and the building (tables, decor, seats etc) royally sucks. read more

I had to give it 1 star to review. This place is garbage. They didn't have any sauce, blast or straws even the whole order was wrong.

My fiancé and I went through the drive thru. We ordered two number 12's. The lady rung it up as two 7's. We did not catch the mistake. After he paid I checked the bag and realized it was the wrong food. I took the food and the receipt in and told them what happened. They gave us the correct food with a smile and did not make me feel uncomfortable or rude about asking them to correct the order. It was also around 9:45 when this happened and with it being so late I assumed they would have told me there was nothing they could do. But they fixed it and were really polite about the whole thing. read more

Ate here today inside at 11:00 am, waited about 10 minutes for food. Ordered Nacho fries supreme, got regular nacho fries . Had to have order remade for their mistake. Steak soft taco was stuck to wrapper, had to peel off paper so I could eat it. Bean burrito was cold. Food quality last few times has not been the best. I know, it's Taco Bell, but at least make the items right! read more
