Here is what I've figured out: OR Taco Bell : CA Taco Bell :: CA Taco Bell : Actual Mexican Food It's not Oregon's fault. It's just math. If you are a Taco Bell fan from California (like me), you're going to be disappointed in Oregon, period. However, for an Oregon Taco Bell, this one is pretty decent. It is, at least in my experience, way better than the one in Hood River, which legitimately deserves to be closed down. My main issues with this location have been the customer service and incredibly long wait times. The food has actually been okay, and my orders have all been correct. It seems like they just don't have enough qualified staff to keep up with demands, either in The Dalles or in Hood River. But The Dalles does have at least one skilled full-time employee in the drive-through. So, keeping that in mind, my overall opinion is that, for an Oregon Taco Bell, this one is pretty okay, but it would be great if they could find a way to attract and maintain enough qualified staff to keep it running properly. read more

Stopped by around 7am for a breakfast chicken quesadilla with potatoes. It was so yummy. Ate the whole thing very quickly. Staff was super nice. Drive through was fast. I've come before with large groups stopping on the way to camp. They handle crowds very well. read more

*Rude staff, walking away without finishing conversation, no apologies, made us feel like it was our fault *item on menu was not available, but the kiosk allowed us to order it *they made us a regular quesadilla to replace the unavailable item even after we told them we did NOT want a regular quesadilla *they made an item incorrectly THREE times *order was missing cheese sauce, cinnamon twists, 5 layer burrito, quesarito read more

Soooo dirty! Behind the counter a disaster, cinnamon on a cheezy rollup? Dinning area floor sticky, pop machine stunk like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. No thanks! read more

Bad experience. Poor service, inexperienced help. We left without our order as it was not priced correctly. I love my Taco Bell in Stayton. This one should be overhauled. 3 employees and a manager did not help us. read more

Horrible food and service just all around a bad experience and this is over 3 years of giving them slack

I love Taco Bell. But this is like the sixth time I've only gotten parts of my order. Stuff that's cold and stuff that's missing. It really makes me sad. Maybe Taco Bell should pay better? Then they could demand more from their employees if they're willing to pay them enough to be good at it. Then they could get rid of the employees that don't really give a rat. read more

Made a mobile order and still waited over 30 minute. Food was cold and not made properly. I had more lettuce, cheese and tortilla then any kind of protein. Customer service was bad. I had a couple missing items I let them know and was handed a bag with those items but was cussed at. Taco Belk do better. read more

I'VE NEVER CARED ENOUGH TO WRITE A REVIEW UNTIL MY RECENT EXPERIENCE. First I ordered 4 cravings boxes and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS MESSED UP! All of the tacos and burritos were half a** and cold. Second of all I was missing multiple Items! When I went to ask if I could get the items they gave me an empty burrito with at most a bite of ingredients. Cant even get my order right the second time around, looks like they didn't even try to make it correct. After all of these mess ups I didn't even want to eat my food anymore, I no longer had an appetite for that piece of sh*t food. Worst food experience of my life, I've had better experiences at jack in the box and they're some how still open. Would not recommend this Taco Bell! read more

Haven't tasted the food yet but let me say that the bathroom was disgusting. Probably haven't been cleaned in a few months. The service was okay but it took awhile to get the food. You had to order on a screen that was filthy. The tables, floor, and counters were gross. Some people weren't wearing gloves in the kitchen and the kitchen was nasty. Would not recommend.. read more

One of my favorite things to do (and please, be reminded that my life is a dull, dull thing) is read yelp reviews of fast food places. And here I am, yelping a Taco Bell. In some small way, I hope I am contributing to another's enjoyment. Full disclosure: I'm not a fast-foodie. That said, when road-tripping, Taco Bell is about the only place with a drive-thru I'll frequent. And so, over the years, I've stopped at quite a few T-Bells on the Western seaboard. And while I always approach the Bell with very low expectations, this one in particular made me realize the bar would need to be lowered even further. This place is exceptionally bad. Order a bean burrito and you'll get a flour tortilla that, once upon a time, caressed it's underbelly in passing on a glob of refried beans. This holds true for other menu items as well, a tortilla exoskeleton and not much else. And while Taco Bell's nationwide slogan is "Live Mas," I submit to you this branch's should more accurately be, "Live Menos." Just drive on through to the next one, folks. Because if a Taco Bell is memorably bad, you know it must have been REALLY, really quite terrible. read more

Every time I go through the drive through they mess something up or they "don't have" enough stock. I got hot and mild sauce when I asked for fire sauce, and they don't have black beans ... come on. I know you guys don't like to make black bean products after 11 pm but it's only 1030. Also, no napkins with my order. Pass, go to hood river if you're passing through. read more

Unfortunate. They always screw up my order. The last time I went they had to make it 3 times. This time the girl at the counter looked super confused and I kept repeating myself and she finally in a nasty tone goes, "i heard you." Then I went to buy a soda and used change and another dirty look. Then I had to ask for fire sauce since they aren't putting it out because people "use too much" like really it's supposed to be complementary and I like it spicy. I stood at the counter where the manager was. She looked at me and walked away. The same girl saw me and ignored me as well as 2 other employees. It took 9 minutes for me to get my food. Only one employee was working the rest were goofing off. At least 6 cars went through the drive thru that ordered after me. I also had to pay 50 cents extra each taco for a different sauce which is what it used to be on the menu. Overall this is the only Taco Bell for a long time so I'll sure I'll be back, but I'm very frustrated and disappointed and expect more. The manager also was biting her finger nails and the establishment was dirty. Come on Taco Bell! read more

The people working their show no effort! I was waiting for my food for about 20mins, and there was only one person in front of me and like two cars in the drive thru. While I was waiting the staff was very loud talking about things that shouldn't say, and even throwing food pieces. And legit stepping away to talk and mess around with another coworker while food need to be papered for everyone that is waiting.Don't get me wrong I love a place that can have fun but when it comes to work they were not there. read more

I wish I could say great things about this place. ... the major issue I have is, not enough in the tacos and burritos. I give it a 3 because the food is good. But it takes much more to fill you up. Every time we go through were shelling out over 20 just to feed 3 folks. That's crazy. For that amount we can get a large pizza and have leftovers. They should really fill the food up more. I was able to fit 3 soft taco insides in a tortilla from home and make half a burrito. : ( But I love taco bell and the food. So I guess it's worth the nearly 60 a month lol read more

The food was fine, the service was fine. The bathroom was busted. The tampon boxes were four feet in the air on the wall behind the toilets, for both the handicapped and non-handicapped stalls. That system was obviously designed by a non-menstruating human. Also the boxes were dusty and didn't have liners. read more

Probably the dirtiest Taco Bell I have been to. Out of like 14 tables, one was halfway clean. The rest had food all over them. The floor had trash and piles of dirt every where. Service was slow for the amount of customers that were there. Highly doubt I'll ever come back. read more

Always screw my order, they are messy as all can be, their hours online are totally different from what they have advertised online and they act like it's nothing. So I'm sure they get it enough. Lazy employees, never wash their hands after handling money. Whenever I go inside to order, the place is so nasty and dirty i dont even want to sit on a single chair since nobody goes around with a wet rag, bussing the place. This place is a joke, and probably last time I waste my time there. read more

Stopped here on the way through town with a group of 6 at 6p on 8/4/18. After ordering stopped in the potty. No TP. Got our order, and it was big, so after handing out orders to all...we realized we were short one quesadilla and though we had an extra meat burrito, we didn't have the bean burrito. We informed the staff, who were nice...and received two chicken quesadillas, but when they came out they said, "The burrito has already been made and given to you." When I showed her that it was a meat burrito (I don't eat meat)...she went back...and later we were told a bean burrito was made. I bit into it...then opened it up. There was a white/brownish sauce...all liquidy, and as far as anyone in our group could determine...nothing else. No beans, no cheese or onions or extra sour cream as I had ordered. I normally don't complain, and if I could have 'made due' with the first or second error...we wouldn't have mentioned it. I ended up not eating anything, as we had more of a drive and couldn't wait any longer. It was a bean burrito. How can you mess that up? Two female employees were nice and tried to help. Seemed like the problem/question about the order was with whomever was making them. read more
