Last time I was in Springfield, MA I had the best birria tacos, unfortunately I couldn't find the name of the restaurant where I had those tacos but I found this food truck with some good reviews and I have to try it. This food truck did not disappoint me. I got some birria tacos and some regular tacos. The service was Fast and very good. The food was amazing. The birria tacos portions were great and the flavor was super tasty. Definitely this is a gem in the city of Springfield.

I wish I got a picture of the churros there were several pieces and hot and crispy absolutely delicious! The chicken quesadilla from here is by far the best I have ever tried! The quality of the cheese and seasoning on the meat with onions and cilantro was so delicious! And they give a roasted pepper that is actually SPICY which was exactly what I was looking for! This is absolutely my favorite taco truck in Massachusetts and I would definitely travel to Springfield for it, gladly! Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and the margaritas were both tasty and potent. Free chips and salsa, with the added plus for me being that regardless of which taco plate I chose, they gave me the option of crunchy (hard shell) tacos, which I prefer. The service was also attentive and courteous. I think someone had commented that this is not a first date venue, but for a casual dining experience it will work. The decor is lively, with traditional music enhancing the ambiance, but not loud at all, so chatting it up is easy.

Over the years, I've vacationed in Mexico and worked for Big Sugar in Belle Glade, so I'm no stranger to authentic Mexican cuisine. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly "¡Hola!"--spoken w passion. Luckily, I know enough conversational Spanish to keep up, and I was seated near the front of the restaurant. The colorful menu practically told me what to order: Sopa de Camarones, Birria Tacos, and a fresh Jugo de Melón (watermelon juice). The waitress was incredibly welcoming and soon returned with a basket of warm tortilla chips and three kinds of salsa. That's when I knew--I had found the real deal. One salsa was mild, the second had a medium kick, and the third--an orange one--was pure fire . I laughed to myself and thought, "Yup, this is going to be good." And it was. All three salsas were absolutely delicious. Then came the food: a steaming bowl of shrimp soup and a plate of mouthwatering birria tacos. The smell alone made my stomach growl. The shrimp broth was rich and flavorful--absolutely hypnotic. I'd order it again without hesitation. As for the tacos? I smothered them in the green salsa and devoured them so fast, it was like I was drinking them. I was that hungry--and they were that good. This was the first truly authentic Mexican meal I've had since leaving South Florida. I'll definitely be coming back.

The family googled a local Mexican restaurant and came up with Mazatlan Mexican Grill. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted warmly by the staff. We were seated promptly and served water right away. Myself, I ordered the chicken quesadilla. The wife ordered a taco salad and the aunt had the torta de pollo. My aunt is one of the best cooks in our family and SHE was raving about their complimentary refried beans appetizer that they serve with chips. But the pièce de résistance was the food itself. My chicken was seasoned perfectly as well as the wife and aunt. This is a place that we will definitely be visiting again. RUN, DO NOT WALK to Mazatlan Mexican Grill and you can thank me later.

The main reason that we have gone to Lola's so frequently is the mussels- delicious, well seasoned and perfectly cooked--the best in the area. I could just have them as a meal. We went there yesterday looking forward to the mussels and they are now off the menu. What?? So disappointing! We had the quesabirria instead which was good. I had the scallop special and my husband had steak frites with rice instead of french fries and both were delicious. The apple empanadas for dessert were nice and crispy and very sweet --there is no need for additional sauce. Even though we appreciate free salsa and chips, we didn't eat the salsa after the first bite. The salsa is SWEETENED, and that was not the case before. Please consider the original recipe. I'm giving 4 stars because the mussels are no longer being offered. PLEASE bring them back!!!! Yes, I know your sister restaurant, Posto, offers mussels, however, we r not fans of fennel. Oh heck yeah! I'm a Texan living in Western Mass and this place is giving me some homey vibes. I…read moreordered a tostada (veggie), pechuga a la plancha (grilled chicken breast), and churros. Y'all this was the first time since I've been up here that anyone has asked if I wanted them filled!! I had truly given up on filled churros but here Sabores is giving me life. Alright, so I dig in to my tostada and it's crunchy and well topped. The only recommendation would be to add more beans to my veggie tostada. Next the chicken... y'all this chicken did not die in vain. Mmmhmm this was well seasoned and perfectly portioned, and like any respectable Mexican entree this came with homemade corn tortillas. A recommendation for my main plate would be a little more chicken bouillon (knorr - porfavor) to the rice and I would prefer my tortillas cooked a little longer (burned around the edges - trust me) and everything would be finger lickin' good. Ooooh weeeee! Ok settle down now, we're coming up to dessert -- churros. She asked "would you like them filled" and I had to ask her to repeat herself... do my ears deceive me? Did she... did she just ask me IF I would like them FILLED?!!! Oh my word! Yes! A thousand times yes, but I had to play it cool y'all (as best as I could) and I followed up with another question... "what type of fillings do y'all got?" She said they only had one and although it was not the type I had hoped for (cajeta -- obviously) I still ordered the filled and non-filled for the table. Don't play yourself though, y'all know the filled kind is the way to go. Ok so my churros arrive... can you tell which part of my order I was most excited about? Yeah, me neither... ok so my churros arrive and they are hot, they are fresh out the fryer y'all. The sugar-to-cinnamon ratio was perfectly coating every bite of that churro (both filled and non (but keep up y'all we both know which one I'm describing). The warm filling oozed out of my very last bite but as a seasoned churro connoisseur -- I was ready for it. In summation, this place was good y'all. -My name is Jackie and I approve this restaurant.
