I'd say avoid - put in a mobile order to save time, turns out it hadn't been made about 20 mins later. Staff is understaffed, disorganized, and unfortunately, all over the place. In the time I was there, 2 refunds were processed. Hope they're able to get some corporate help read more

Taco Bell - Fast Food Near Me - South Hill, Virginia

I understand if you may be short staffed but you should have more that 2 people working. Where is the management? I've waited 10 minutes just for my order to be taken because they had to take care of other customers. I was asked politely to come inside and order which I don't have a problem with but seeing that there are only 2 people actually working in the whole store is disappointing. Manage ment needs to do better this is not supporting your team and the 2 people who were on the clock did a fantastic job with the lack of support you had for them. Again outstanding work from the team members working but they obviously can't take orders, make them, deliver them, and make sure the restaurant is clean. The woman behind the counter also seemed to be on the phone with the manager talking about how she was asking people to order inside so it would be easier and it seemed like the manager didn't like that response. Again I didn't hear the conversation BUT if you know that there is only 2 people on the clock DO NOT blame them for just trying to get things done. read more

So sad, South Hill fast food is going down hill. Food is good, yet service is slow. Fine place to sit if cleaned for ambiance but not recommended if you want FAST food. read more

7/14/26 I waited 27 minutes for a Mexican pizza. There were 4 people who were already pulled over in front of me waiting on food. I had to go inside because the drink they gave me had no syrup, she had to remake the drink 3 times because they wouldn't check after me explaining to her that it was just soda water. And the Mexican pizza looked like someone ran it over. It was soggy and I just opened it from walking from the restaurant to my car. When I went in there were 6 people working and only looked like 2 were actually doing anything. A restaurant with a drive threw should take 5 minutes 10 tops this is absolutely sad and is the shittiest place to eat in this town 0 stars only reason I hit one is because I had to. read more

Man, we waited 15 minutes for food that was cold AND burnt. I get it's fast food, but y'all gotta get your shit together.

Absolute WORST Taco Bell I've ever been to! The entire order was wrong. First off, when we pulled up they said, "we're only doing hard or soft shell tacos." We mentioned we had a mobile order and they "completed" our order. I ordered a Luxe box, my Crunchwrap (added potatoes, jalapeños, and different sauce) only had my add-ons. No beef or lettuce. I receive no chips and cheese. They didn't have beans so they couldn't do a bean burrito, they did let me sub a grilled cheese burrito. At least they told me about that one. My boyfriend ordered a cantina chicken quesadilla, only received a regular quesadilla. He also didn't get any of the sauce that is supposed to come with his meal. All 4 crunchy tacos we ordered were Doritos tacos instead of regular tacos. We also ordered the salted caramel churros, didn't receive those. The burrito was the ONLY item they mentioned would be changed, everything else we didn't find out until we got home. I love Taco Bell normally, but this was absolutely pathetic and the managers should be ashamed. read more

So I go here to get a taco salad. You know the one in a corn tortilla shell. Well they don't have salad anymore!!! When did that happen. So I ask for 2 supreme soft tacos. And t add sour cream. That will be $2 dollars extra. For a squirt of sour cream???!!! So I had to pull forward because it was a special order!! Omg. Tiny bits of ingredients. Now I know why I haven't been there in years. I won't be back read more

Management needs to seriously pay attention to the reviews and concerns of your customers, the people working at your location doesn't really care about your franchise, this is a serious concern, I was there just one time and I was treated very rudely by the lady taking the order. I have been throughout the US and I can honestly say, Ive never been treated this way and I have never had this poor quality food and service from a Taco Bell, honestly if you don't fix the service at your location, I don't see it being open too much longer. Take this as a review from a concerned consumer that knows what real good service at a Taco Bell should be. read more

The worst Taco Bell that has every existed. Service is incredibly slow, staff is rude and quality is laughable.

So I pull up to the restaurant and literally 3 employees were out in the parking lot smoking and on their phones. Okay, so I drive around to the speaker and literally sit there, someone says they'll be with me in a second, sat there for 14 minutes waiting for some extremely rude person to come on the speaker saying that "we can only order KFC right now." So I said "awesome somebody couldn't have told me that 14 minutes ago we have just been sitting here for no reason" and the person got really rude so I drove around to see who was in there talking to customers in such a manner and this unhinged employee comes FLYING out the door saying they were gonna beat my @$$!!! This employee literally tried to fight me AND my 14 year old daughter when my daughter got out the car because she thought the employee was about to hit me!!!! Totally wild experience!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The LEO I spoke to said this was the second time today they were there!!!!! read more

This location is always closing early, for no apparent reason or even notifying would-be customers of reasoning on why they are closed. Have to announce self multiple times at drive thru before someone answers, staff hoping you just leave. Have placed numerous mobile orders and upon arriving, them saying they're closed, way before posted closing time, with complete staff. If the surrounding area population cannot get Taco Bell, then this location needs to be permanently closed. Have had unprofessional, lazy staff for over the past 3 years. Management is not overseeing an efficient crew. read more

Drove a hr to go to this Taco Bell and it was so not worth it I suggest driving right by it and go to south Boston location instead because that's the best Taco Bell I've ever been to. This loacation the food was cold and I had to wait for like 30 mins for my food when I order it ahead on the app and no one else was there at all and the staff just seemed annoyed read more

Ordered a Mexican pizza and it comes to me sloppy and not even a handful of tomatoes. They don't even know how to cut it. Not to mention it was cold. I send my husband back up there and the person at the counter said if we remake it it's going to look just like this. Uhm no it won't because that isn't how a Mexican pizza is supposed to look. It's nasty and honestly I won't be eating there anymore. To the manager you need to train your workers how to actually do their job and make a Mexican pizza the right way! read more

If you enjoy waiting in the drive through for an insane amount of time to order, and then waiting over 10+ minutes for your food....then this is the place for you. I want to update my review as of right now. The past three weeks I have gone through to Taco Bell drive through 4 times and have been very surprised. The service is wayyy faster as of recent. The longest I waited of those 4 times was about 5 minutes and that was for a big order. I am very impressed. Below is my old review from just a short while ago. Honestly for the past three or four years this has been the place all the locals in town avoid unless you have a good 30 minutes to an hour to waste waiting to get the wrong order. Seems like the drive through cant handle more than one customer per hour or they just shut down. After waiting for 20 minuets to get to the window you will be asked to move forward and wait another 20-30 minutes for the food if the remember to bring it to you and the other 4 cars parked waiting in the middle of the parking lot. read more

Kudos to the employees who are doing their very best. The food is just not good. It took about 40 minutes of wait time in the drive-thru to get our food. We turned the engine off. I ordered three crunchy beef tacos. One taco was so soggy at the bottom that it stuck to the wrapper. I've had better tacos at home. read more

Y'all expect far too much from your Taco Bell. This location will satisfy all your pseudo-Mexican fast food needs. Driving up on I-85, we got stuck in terrible traffic. By the time we emerged from the jam an hour later we had our tastebuds set on the nearest T. Bell. When I saw the low Yelp reviews for this location I was marginally concerned but undeterred. Thank the "taco" gods for our resolve. This combined KFC/Bell location is new and clean enough. The food was delivered quickly, was hot, and as ordered. The burritos were generously stuffed; the quesadillas of adequate cheesiness. Sure, the seven-layer had a pool of liquid at its bottom because of improper guacamole/sour cream allocation. And yes, the quesadilla could have had more sauce. But as far as Taco Bells go, we know these complaints could be much much worse. Check your Taco Bell privilege. I've experienced truly terrible Taco Bells before and this just ain't one of 'em. I'd eat there again. 4 stars. read more

Good food decently fast and it was great service thanks you guys are awesome always love Taco Bell when good service

We ordered two box meals. Didn't get boxes. Instead they were wrapped and placed in the bag ONE SIDE DOWN. This was the result. Not very impressed to say the least. This isn't the first issue my family and I have had at Taco Bell. We do not have another Taco Bell within a 45 min drive so we continued to try to buy from this location however won't be going back. read more

My husband and I went out of our way to go to this Taco Bell as there are not many fast restaurants outside of this exits in quite a few miles and we really wanted Taco Bell. The listed closing time was 10pm, we arrived at 9:30pm and was told that they are closing at 9:30 tonight "sorry" and to move on. The time on the door and time online should be respected, period and the women working could at least be kind of changes have to be made! read more

So unprofessional!!!!! The past five times I've been here, the woman at the drive thru ha asked to wait for about five minutes. And then they can't freakin hear me. Taco Bell - Fast Food Near Me - South Hill, Virginia

This taco bell is connected to a KFC and right off of I-85. We stopped her for a tide-over-taco (what our family calls the taco you eat between the hours of 3 and 5 so you can hold out till dinner). The service was obviously sub par. The cashier was especially deficient in intelligence and desire to accomplish anything with her life. The food was average taco bell. Tasted like taco bell, looked like taco bell. A heads up though, they have no changing tables... very surprising... especially in this section of town. Okay so let's say I am a management consultant looking to open a Taco Bell in this location. I can understand some decisions. Decision one, make sure there is a lack of available outdoor seating and ample light at night to deter the homeless. Check. Two open in a location where their is a high high school dropout rate so we an ample job pool. Check. Three not put FREAKING CHANGING TABLES IN THE RESTROOM! Check. Wait what? WHAT THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE? THAT IS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T! Why in the world are there no changing tables? Taco Bell you designed this location, why can't you design it with 3 more square feet of bathroom space and put in a changing table! My child at something from here, you don't think he has diarrhea like the rest of us? read more

I stopped there tonight and by far it's the worst food that I've ever had. It was just thrown together, very sloppily. The food tasted extremely old. Honestly I almost vomited. Please do not waste time or money there. Gross and poor customer service. Yuck read more

I have has so many issues with this location but being its the closest I've given it repeated chances last night was the last one. I pulled into the drive through waited the usual 3-5mins for someone to acknowledge me and then was told they didn't have enough meat to make my tacos? Seriously? Funny how these things only happen around closing. Last time I got home and ALL my tacos were crushed and had nothing but cheese and so little meat I had to check to make sure it wasn't just a shell. This doesn't include the worthless staff they have that mostly stands around laughing and playing. Just look at the reviews and you'll see. I feel like I've been ripped off by Taco Bell to many times and I'm pretty pissed about it read more

The wait was a little long but in their defense I did show up about 20 minutes before closing. Despite showing up this late, the quality of the food I received was far better than what I receive at most Taco Bell's.
