Driving through town from I85. Stopped in for lunch. Got the 3-piece boneless chicken with a side and a drink. I asked for recommendation on the side and got the mashed potatoes. They came with a gravy (I didn't know that when I ordered them). And the menu says the combo comes with tea, but I swapped it for a Pepsi Zero. Anyway, here's the verdict. The boneless chicken is pretty good. It's got a nice crunch and isn't greasy. The chicken itself is moist. The coating has a nice spice/pepperiness to it. They asked if I wanted a sauce and I got the bbq, which is actually good. Tangy and sweet. Goes well with the chicken. The mashed potatoes - texture is like right out of a box of powdered flakes. Not much flavor. The gravy is gelatinous. I didn't care for it. The biscuit is ok. Not great. I was hoping for great. I ate the chicken and bbq sauce. Left most of the potatoes and most of the biscuit. Oh, and the cashier gave me the senior discount without me having to ask for it. Food was disappointing. It came out cold and the biscuit was hard, and it also looked like someone smushed down the biscuit and sausage with their hand. I expected it to be fresh, but it wasn't. The sausage felt rubbery, there was barely any drink in my cup, I took about 7 sips and I was done. I've never had Bojangles before so we stopped here for lunch during our road-trip back upstate. The drive-thru and line inside were long but service was surprisingly fast. We split a 4 piece supreme combo with Mac and cheese and an iced tea for $10.29 total. Huge portion, juicy chicken, and reasonably priced. The whole meal was delicious -- way better than KFC and Popeyes. (Dipping the chicken in hot sauce and mustard was spicy tangy goodness). The biscuit was buttery and flaky and the Mac and cheese was filling. Iced tea is an absolute must! Next time we're in the area we're definitely stopping by again. read more

The only thing they can't mess up are the drinks and bo berry biscuits. Now why in the work would you think it's okay to put the equivalent to maybe 5 pieces of bacon but chopped into pieces on my biscuits? the amount of grease coming out should've been a concern. Be careful going here. When I first moved to the area and started going here it wasn't that bad but it's like it's going downhill or something. A friend of mines ordered three sausage biscuits. He should have looked in the bag yes but gets on the road and only two in the bag because of rushing with lines and on the way to work he didn't check. A day or so later another friend ordered a sausage and egg with cheese and gravy. My friend opens the bag the person put the sausage and egg biscuit in the gravy container gave an extra dry biscuit with nothing on it and no gravy. I don't know what's going on at that place if it's new hires, rushing or what. Y'all just look at your orders before you leave that place don't care how long it takes. read more

For me, the service was pretty good. I wasn't to hungry so I got a 3 pc chicken tender with a lemonade. After getting back to the car I started eating and noticed it was a bit spicy. I loved it though so it wasn't an issue. They also gave me an extra tender which made me very happy. The French fries were seasoned/salted a lot so it tasted VERY salty and sweet at the same time. So we're something over 50 years old and had heard about Bo's our whole lives. Buuuuuuut we're on the road between Virginia Beach and Atlanta, so stopped in for a high sodium, high carb lunch. Wow was it tasty! (Look out keto - you're fired). The order taker girl was as cute and engaging as you're going to find, including a genuine "welcome to Bojangles" (who does that anymore, I love it!) It only got better from there. They have a retirement-age gentleman that buses tables and prepares them for the next guest that was friendly, funny, and mellow that closed out the visit, although we bus our own. Anyway, the food was hot, tasty, looked just like the order board, and to hell with healthy once in a while. Thank you, we'll be visiting other Bo's as we travel around. read more

I can't get enough of the Bo's! Fresh, hot, good fried food! I wouldn't advise eating it everyday, but it's the best for a cheat day! Every time I'm back in NC, I make my way here. My favorite is the chicken supreme dinner, which is a chicken strips box. The strips are crunchy and not soft and soggy. For the most part everything I've ever ordered here has been hot and good and the fact that I can order it with a senior discount it'just a bonus, I highly recommend. I pulled into the parking lot and the line was wrapped. I was ahead of schedule so I decided to just stay in line. As soon as I locked myself into place in line, this aura surrounded me. I felt as if I could fly. Once I made it to the speaker, the voice of God told me "you're welcome" before an angel asked if they could help me. As I was traveling with 3 others, we ordered a family tailgate meal with fries, dirty rice and Cajun pintos. Not only was everything hot and ready, it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My family ascended into the heavens as we devoured what must have been Sunday-Only God's Chicken since chick fil a isn't open on Sunday. A choir came out and we had church in the parking lot while finishing up our meal. As I put my car in drive, my empty gas tank immediately became full, and we were on our merry way again. Disappointing experience at this Bojangles. The drive thru speaker is very loud and muffled, communicating my order was the beginning of the issues. At the window I asked them to repeat the order since the drive thru speaker was so hard to understand. The order was wrong, so I attempted to fix it before paying. The lady at the window was clearly annoyed and begrudgingly added a second order for the missing meal. Checked the order before I drove off and it was missing a meal and had an extra different meal that was not ordered. Parked the car to go inside to swap out for the correct meal, again I was met with an attitude. Not once was there an apology or attempt to make the order correct. No straws and 4 napkins for 4 meals. Where is the customer service at this location? Not at all like my other Bojangles experiences. Won't be stopping at this location again. read more

Horrible employees they must've ate lead paint as children because I specified my order 5 times with the lady over the mic (which is also a piece of you know what) and she said she had my order right and of course they messed it up. People placing the food in boxes with no floves, hair nets etc after handling money. Folks outside smoking cigarettes while customers wait long periods of time for food.
