We watched Fast Foodies on TV and the nachos from Taco Bell were the meal the chefs had to make. It looked delicious! So my husband was in Saco and surprised me by getting the nachos from this location. We were very disappointed. Very little meat, too much refried beans, no sauce packets (which is the best part of spicing up any Taco Bell meal) and not a lot of food overall. Will not be returning to this location. read more

Can we be honest here? Since when do we, as Americans, willingly go to an establishment, request a service/food, and pay good money only to receive the opposite of what we ask for? I can answer that. At Taco Malo....er, I mean Taco Bell. A bell as in what should be clanging in your head as a warning shot over the bow to turn back around and leave before you run aground on the Island of Disappointment. I've been here twice and have walked away (with tail tucked between my legs in shame) with supposedly simple meals less than $10 in cost but still messed up as if someone has a wheel of opposite requests spinning madly as laughing workers proceed to screw up your order. Asked for no sour cream one time, and that translates to add sour cream to the items that you asked for it to be omitted in addition to others which don't normally have sour cream. Asked for a diet drink last night, and get a sugary mess that would cause a diabetic go into hyperglycemic shock. As they say on the Isle of Disappointment "Tanks for nuttin". read more

I love Taco Bell. I don't tell a lot of people but it's my second favorite fast food chain. This one, however, is poorly managed and has poor customer service all around. Our cashier today was talking to his friends sitting to the side rather than begin taking our order. Then when he finally remembered he was doing his job, he leaned over and waved at them in the middle of me giving our order. He asked kept putting in the wrong thing and having to ask me again what I said. They were out of large tortillas so zero burritos and large quesadillas. I don't enjoy doing this. Especially for a fast food place. But SERIOUSLY. How many chances does an establishment need and where in the hell is management?! We have never encountered rude or disrespectful workers, so that aspect of service is fine. BUT OUR ORDER IS ALWAYS WRONG!! Today was the first day we'd been there during the day, it was always night crew we encountered and it was always small stuff like forgetting a straw, sauce, or whatever. Worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. Half hour wait for our food. Asked for "extra crispy" and they tried to bargain with us. Sell us on wings and thighs, extra crispy, and the rest regular. Fine. Whatever. I also ordered three soft tacos. Paid. Transaction over. Pulling away, I noticed that the tacos were ICE COLD. Stopped the car went inside. Explained the situation the situation to the manager. She stated that a piece of machinery had blown away fuse, and I could have crunchy tacos instead???(also said she wasn't going to try to fix it because she was a female, and didn't want to get electrocuted. How sex plays into that I'm not sure?) What difference would that make? Dropped the bag on the counter, and she started an argument with me. I told her to keep the money.... The group of workers standing outside the front door smoking should have been our first clue... But it was after ten at night and we were hungry. When we got the food, the taco meat was cold and our nachos had literally five chips per bag. We went to ask for a refund and the acting manager never bothered to ask what the problem was. Out of curiosity I asked "Don't you want to know why we're returning our food?" And the reply was "..uh...why..." I said the meat was cold and her reply was ".....it couldn't be". Beware. We went into this Taco Bell to get a quick snack with our young son after a youth sporting event. It was about 10 p.m., and Taco Bell/KFC seemed to be one of the few restaurants still open. All we were looking for was a bite to eat to carry us over until we got home. While we were waiting for our order, we were shocked to see Taco Bell employees cleaning out their bins by throwing everything on the floor. The floor was covered with food gunk, water, and ice; right where they were preparing the food. The employees were doing this in plain sight, and were looking at the customers while they were doing it, as if it were funny. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Bewildered, I took out my camera and took a picture of the filth. About 2 minutes later, an employee aggressively walks up to me and asks if I've just taken a picture. The employee said that it was ILLEGAL to take a photo in a fast food restaurant! We said that they should think about cleaning up the mess on the floor. For this, she said she was calling the POLICE. THE. COPS. Because - "It is illegal to take pictures in a restaurant." We asked to speak with the manager. It turned out that the manager was right there, watching them as they "cleaned" out the bins! The employee grabbed the phone and presumably started calling the cops. We had done NOTHING WRONG - there was no swearing, no rude treatment by us - and certainly nothing "illegal." At this point our child was sobbing, terrified that my husband and I were going to be taken away by the cops. At this point, we decide to just leave, without the food we paid for (obviously, no loss there), and without getting our money back. As we were leaving, we could see employees looking out the window trying to (presumably) see our vehicle's license plate. It was INSANITY. We were treated like bank robbers for complaining about the conditions in their restaurant. Our young child sobbed all the way home, terrified that the police would be coming for us. It was truly awful. We did NOTHING to warrant this horrible treatment by Taco Bell/KFC. We will NEVER go back. read more

Disgusting attitudes matched by disgusting food. Just came here about an hour ago, went through the drive thru, order taker was hard of hearing or something, needed me to repeat each item twice. Got to the window, and why would they always make the shortest employee represent their drive thru when they're drive thru is almost five feet high? Had to unbuckle and get out of my car as I'm also short, and by the time I opened my door the order taker was apparently in a huffy hurry and had walked away. After ten minutes we got our food, no "sorry for the wait" just an insincere "here you go, have a great day." A 12 pack of Cinnabun-whatevers, a beef Quesarito, a famous bowl and a soda. Soda was uneventful, thankfully, how could you mess up soda? My passenger and I grabbed two of the Cinnabun-things, which we've bought a few times, and it's a favorite item of ours (we usually go to the Sanford Taco Bell, much better customer service). They were COLD in the middle, like refrigerator temperatures. So I turned around and brought the box of the remaining ten in. I told the woman up front that they were raw and cold. She said "oh. ok" and walked out back, told the guy to make another one, and then said "Cook it for EXTRA time." After a few minutes of awkwardly standing there while the woman talked about her "homie" that she was going to beat up because he was spending the night in jail or something, and hearing many F-bombs from the back of the store, she handed me the box, didn't receive a single apology. Finally after calming down from that irritation, I opened my quesarito up and unfolded it to see the inside... Very VERY little meat, only in the corners, a big glob of sour cream right in the middle and mostly rice. My advice to the employees; just because you hate your job (and it was VERY clear from your poor attitudes and disgusting food that you do) doesn't mean you need to be a douche to every single person that decides to spend THEIR hard earned money for YOUR paychecks. Take some pride in your work and EARN your money instead of just sitting around looking sloppy. Corporate really needs to crack down on this particular franchise because this is not the first unpleasant experience I've had here, just the last. :) read more
