We ordered the the 12 piece dinner as you can see in the photo of their not updated website menu. It says that you get 12 chicken strips, 4 rolls, 1 family sized side and one pint size side. I ordered this meal, plus: As follows 12 Strips The family size and pint mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. 2 extra pint sized sides: baked beans and coleslaw. Sides of honey mustard dips. My husband got home with our food we unpacked it and for the third time we had no coleslaw. So he grabbed the receipt and went back. I noticed that we didn't got our bread either. So I called ahead to let them know of the missing items. The young person that answered the phone first told me that bread is no longer included as part of the order. They no longer carry bread, they have biscuits and if you want those they are one of your sides or xtra money. ( go online and update your menu!) then she added that it was policy that if he didn't arrive at country school with the bag of food purchased with him, that they would not give us the coleslaw. I was flabbergasted. Two other times we went in with the receipt no food and were given the slaw. Not Today! She went on to tell me that for the inconvenience for having to come back for the coleslaw it was their policy to remake the entire order. I am sorry this does not make any sense to me. You will remake me a whole new $44 order to replace my $2 pint of coleslaw that you charged me $5.29? During my call I went back to the website to re-check the rolls, and if it said anything's it said anything about bringing back the entire order to prove missing items. I did call back to talk to the manager. Waste of time. I will call and talk to the owners son tomorrow and up-date after the call. It may make or break if we ever go back to to country school again. A lot has changed since 2017…read more We have a new favorite appetizer - It's a flatbread that is made with naan, and includes sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese, balsamic glaze, and sashimi grade salmon, with some shredded greens. O M G! The flavors on this one just pop! The feta works with the naan, which is firm enough to support the toppings without being crisp or hard. The flavors blend together so well, it may very well displace our prior favorite, spicy battered cauliflower. On to the main course. My wife selected their shrimp tacos, which provided 4 tacos on white tortillas, with sour cream and guacamole. She really enjoyed the flavor. I tried the new Greek burger, which was a burger with red onions, feta again, and a large burger I ordered medium rare which actually came medium rare. The feta worked with the other flavors and that burger was GOOD. Very tasty, very tender, and it went down well. For drinks, my wife had their Tito's Mule, and I had their Dogfish Crimson Cru, both of which were very good. Service was prompt and attentive. The restaurant has an old west / USMC ambiance, that works well. The staff and the menu changes are definitely on par with changes in the past - that add value and taste. If you haven't tried Remington's yet because it is in downtown Malta (blink - you missed it), I'm here to tell you, this continues to be a gem where you can get some really excellent food.
