The food usually takes a super long time to come out, they prioritize the drive thru over everything. So you'll be waiting 20+ mins for a burrito. They skimp on all ingredients. The manager consistently leaves the restaurant with the garbage overflowing and soda/water spilled all over the floor. How they made her the manager is beyond me. She doesn't care if all the tables are dirty and the place is a wreck. I've seen her leave at least three times at the end of her shift. A good manager makes sure the place is in good condition before leaving. Super unimpressed. I saw the owner one day, and he seemed really nice. I think he should show up more to see how the place is run. Also a female employee was on the phone outside swearing up a storm for customers and KIDS to hear. She didn't care. THIS Amazing location in Ponderay Always listens and gets our order correct. We live here and go biweekly, order is always correct. Love this location off 95. My daughter loves Taco Bell! We have been to many many locations across the western US on many road trips and we have special dietary needs with allergies. 99% of the time our order has been wrong at other spots and I have been trained to always check my food before leaving. Yes this is a busy location, you will wait for your order. I have gone inside and drive thru both work nothing different. Food is Taco Bell people nothing special, but getting my order right is so important and not having to wait twice as long to get a order re-made is soooooo important. CDA, Post Falls and Rathdrum locations have all messed up our orders. Love this place. read more

I put in an online order and waited for about an hour total for one item. The lady working the counter told me I needed to check in because my order was out in on drive through, not a problem. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes until she finally realized they didn't have my order. She tells me they don't have it and can't give me my food. At this point I'm ready to leave before a nice worker in the back tells me he will remake my order for me. Terrible customer service, but the guy in the back helped me out. They are not very fast, but it's always been very clean and decent seeming staff, food was never bad just sloppy sometimes.

We ordered three items. The bill was $16.93 and the food quality was terrible (not to mention a complete mess). The service was friendly but it took 15 mins to get the food - they clearly concentrate on serving the drive-thru first. There were hardly any "fillings" in the burrito, the Mexican pizza, and even though we ordered extra cheese on the nachos (and they charged us 65 cents extra) more than half the chips had no cheese or toppings at all. I guess if you don't order extra cheese you don't get any at all????? I understand that thigs have gotten more expensive but really? $17 for three items at Taco Bell? We have eaten at several other Taco Bell locations and the food quality has been better at ALL of them and they have ALL been faster. This is the worst experience we have ever had at Taco Bell store. We won't be returning. We get more food and WAY better quality at the full-service Mexican restaurant just down the road. The food comes out just as fast as Taco Bell and it's SO MUCH better and about the same price since you don't have to order as many items. read more

Lady at the window didn't know what she was doing and could barely take an order. We asked for a cravings box and instead of saying they didn't have those anymore she put something totally different on the screen. She asked what sauce we wanted with it and we said Diablo, and she proceeded to say "no, you have to pick a sauce for the chicken." Two people were talking to us at once and we couldn't understand them. They also over charged us for our order. Older lady taking our order sounded like she was nodding off. We had food delivered and we ordered all kinds of sauces. When food arrived they failed to add sauces. I called them and they said there's nothing they can do. I went on to tell them that we paid for delivery and even left a nice gratuity. They didn't seem to care and said we could just drive there and get it if we wanted. i went through the Drive-thru at the Ponderay Taco Bell on December 23, 2022 to get my daughter 4 Black Bean Crunch Wraps. I ordered them and the person repeated it back to me. An hour later when I arrived home, my daughter bit into one and it has meat. I looked at the receipt and it said Crunch Wrap Supreme. I immediately called the restaurant back and spoke to the Manager- I think her name was Amber. She profusely apologized and said she would send out a gift card to reimburse us for the wrong order. I went to Taco Bell after they remodeled the restaurant, upon entering, it felt cold and unwelcoming. Everything was gloomy looking such a drab colorless scheme. I ordered my food and sat down in the new seating area. The seats were so uncomfortable and worse than a park bench. It took my order quit awhile, but when it came it was typical fast food, not very good and such small portions for the price. Disrespectful employees. They lie and cheat you out of your money. I have been here so many times and every single time they screw up AT LEAST half the order. When you call to get it fixed they just say "oh we'll give you free food next time" and pretend to take your name down but when you actually go in to get it they say "sorry you're not on the list" and treat you like you're a homeless person begging for food. Not to mention I've gotten sick almost every time I've eaten here. Gross sticky tables an trash everywhere. You also can plainly see that the employees don't respect anyone, manger or customer. Literally go anywhere but here. McDonald's, Burger King, zips and Pizza Hut are all in a less than half a mile radius of this Taco Bell and all of them are worth going to over this place.
