This Taco Bell in Paddock Lake is hands down the best one around. Very friendly staff and the food is amazing!! I live in Lake Geneva and I drive to this one to feed my craving. Lupe the manager is wonderful and takes pride in her store. It's the best Taco Bell I have eaten at since I left Long Beach, Ca. I was in with my boyfriend and I ordered a quesadilla meal along with a taco I asked the lady if I could do a dorito taco instead of a regular Taco she refused said oh I can't do that. I said okay that's fine I'll stick with the regular Taco she then in turn gave me two soft shell tacos two avocado cups never ever came out of my mouth then I proceeded to go up to the counter and asked to speak to the manager who came up and said what's the problem along with a Hispanic girl who was standing next to him who was very nice but the assistant manager who is a larger man with big green gauges in his ears was completely disrespectful and told me well you ate the food that you got didn't you and I said is that the way you treat your customers and he said again didn't you eat the food that I gave you and I said yes I would like a refund because it shouldn't have been the two tacos and the avocado nothing was done that is complete and utter disrespect to customers that man and the blonde should be fired where's my refund?? This is by far, the cleanest Taco Bell I have ever seen. The staff was very courteous and attentive. I ordered the seven dollar luxe box. Not only was it economical, it was hot, fresh, and delicious. You can tell this Taco Bell has excellent management. read more

RING THE BELL When I make a run for the border I typically don't think about running to the Illinois/Wisconsin border but now Taco Bell has set up shop in the small town of Paddock Lake! Paddock known as a 35 mph speed trap on the way to Lake Geneva has given road-trip a warriors a place to stop and grab some fastfood Mexican. Here's a word to the wise. Slow it down because you never know where the sheriff is hiding plus there are a lot of kids with the high school across the street. Let's all stay safe. You can enter in off of 75 or the side street (250th) but be careful when slowing down because the high speed drivers trying to get to Lake Geneva aren't going to understand why you're braking with no red light in sight! Live Mas but don't die trying. The parking lot is a little tight with some weird angles. Some dude flying out of the drive thru almost slammed into me. He was a little angry but sometimes when you're craving Taco Bell you can't focus on anything but the crunch. The drive thru was packed. I think they just opened because you can't even find the location on the Taco Bell website. The inside doesn't look open yet. I can see a ton of balloons floating in the restaurant that said, "Congrats!" It's not easy opening in a Pandemic. They have a nice patio in front which is great if you want to eat in the fresh air. I also noticed they have the cool Taco Bell kiosks to order from inside. Paddock Lake hasn't had a new chain restaurant in decades. I believe the Subway opened about 10 years ago. Taco Bell now joins the power house franchises of Burger King and McDonald's. These two rivals are located at the Brass Balls intersection across the street from each other in gas stations. I hope the burger boys are ready for the taco takeover. Every day will be Taco Tuesday in Paddock Lake. A few bonuses about this location. It opens every day at 8am and then stays open late until midnight from Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday they go to 1am. Every time I go to this restaurant and use the drive-through, whether I ordered through the app ahead of time or at the drive-through, I am asked to pay and then pull around to the other side of the store to wait. So this Taco Bell needs some real help with management. Since it's been open I've experienced multiple wrong orders. The phone number listed is not the restaurant's phone number. Staff has attitude and Management has been seen and heard yelling at employees in front of customers. I came through drive through once and Heavenly the manager was heard yelling at another employee over the drive through intercom. I was also told they treat their employees awful and can't keep staff. They just keep hiring more kids and letting employees go. This place needs a serious adjustment. As a resident of paddock lake we were all excited to get a Taco Bell, but they are steadily losing our business because of the way this is being ran into the ground. Went at night a few days after they had opened to buy my mom some chalupas, and they gave me cold food. Went again during the day and told them to heat up my food since I had gotten it cold. Worker proceeded to get mad and said that it was because I had gone at night that my food was cold, but when I got my food that same day, to my surprise it was cold again. I went again twice, both times in the day when the worker said the food would be good, and again I got cold food. My poor review is based on the fact that I have visited this location 3 times since they opened, and they have forgotten items from my order every single time. Also they have never added ice to ANY of my drinks!
