Stopped by this Taco Bell on Sloan Road on the way to work this morning to get another sample of that new Breakfast Wrap. This shop is attractively set out on a small knoll with a wraparound drive through. They even have an outdoor patio with ramada for enjoying this lovely fall weather. Well, the breakfast wrap was good and filling enough without the extra hash browns or sweet cream dough balls provided in their "Box." The extra spice kick was just enough to keep it interesting. At $3.89 it is actually quite a an excellent deal. Downside was the coffee. Although no sugar was requested and repeated when asked by the order taker, it was still plied with sugar when opened at my desk. That, and the strange engineering of the coffee cups makes for a challenging transport. The corrugated sleeve is glued to the paper cup, which seems to partially deform the round lip on top. This causes the plastic cover to fail to smoothly snap over the edge, living small gaps for coffee to leak out. By the time I arrived at work there was a puddle of java in the cup holder and drippage when lifted out. You and my pants know the rest... So, two visits to local Taco Bells. Both had tasty food, but secondary service issues. If I can tolerate those errata, I will likely try again in the not to distant future. read more

A quick and convenient place to get some cheap tacos and fast food. The items on the menu has a decent amount of choices but a lot of the specialty has been removed from the menu which I'm not sure why as they were good. I usually get the bean burrito, chicken quesadillas, soft taco beef, the chalupas supreme, hash brown, chicken power bowl, chip and cheese, and the cinnamon bites. The food came out quickly and the service wasn't as bad. The chicken power bowl is something I enjoy getting since it's very different from the typical taco bell food. Cheap in every sense of the word. Just don't expect your tiny grease-soaked taco to look anything like the robust version in the photographs. It'll do in a pinch when you don't feel like eating corned beef hash or ravioli right out of the can. Foods great. As it's a chain place so there's no reason why they shouldn't, that doesn't require much skill. But the issue here is they claim to be open till 11 AM for breakfast. But they never let me get anything passed 10:45. So fine. It is what it is, but i ordered at 10:40 and they still did not let me. So not only refusing to serve breakfast till 11 as they advertise, they don't even serve till their own compensated time... that doesn't even make sense. 5 minutes shouldn't make a difference when ur already compensating 15 minutes.... So happy there is a Taco Bell close to where I live! This is what I crave whenever I'm having an off day and want some comfort fast food. I think it's especially one of my favorite fast food chains because of all of their vegetarian options. I usually go through the drive thru and haven't had any issues so far - my order has always been right ( although with my luck I probably just jinxed that) - they are quick and efficient even when there is a long line and always give me extra hot sauce :) Today was the first time I decided to go inside and I'm glad I did because I discovered that they have upgraded to touch screens to order. This makes it even easier to order vegetarian friendly things because you can basically customize any of their entree options! It's amazing. They have also added a few new items to their menu ( take a look at the pictures of the screen). The inside was very well kept and clean and it wasn't busy during the time I went ( around 4 PM on a Sunday). read more

This is my go-to taco bell as it's so close to my house. I never had issues with my order from this taco bell. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. They are super fast in their service but they also make sure you get what you ordered. I think I only had one instance where they forgot to put my hot sauce in the bag and when I got home, I was pretty upset that my sauce packets were missing. They should really bring back the salsa verde sauce back. read more

I definitely consider myself a Taco Bell regular, and I paid a visit to this Taco Bell when I was in the area. A friend and I had placed our mobile orders and went to eat in the restaurant. This location is one that has been renovated more recently, which is nice. The workers asked for the name under my order, and they got it out quickly. The server behind the counter also upgraded my drink size for free, which I greatly appreciated. For that signature Taco Bell taste, my food was pretty delicious. I ordered Nacho Fries, a Loaded Chicken Griller, 2 Pack Cinnabon Delights, a cup for a Baja Blast, and a Fiery Doritos Locos Taco Supreme. I was very satisfied with my food quality and service overall. I would definitely pay this location a visit again. My friend who tried Taco Bell for the first time really enjoyed as well. read more

Come on fellow Yelpers, there's no shame in admitting that you venture to the Bell on occasion. Spots like this surely have their place in the restaurant world. Say for example you are tipsy after a fun night of mischief, too lazy and hungry to really care where you go, or smelly and dirty after chores or exercise. So add your thought to the Yelpisphere. This is actually a good example of TB. Friendly staff, quick service, and for the most part you get what you expect in terms of taste and hunger alleviation. Today after several months of abstaining from fast food my curiosity of the newish breakfast menu dragged me here. I was pleasantly surprised by my choices too. Am crunch wrap with bacon was really good, the bacon seemed better than other fast food breakfast sandwiches, and the hash brown went with it very well. Even the eggs were fluffy and egg like. I also had the Cali crunch wrap, this was sans bacon but pico and guac. This was even slightly better. I'll say now that 2 wraps were probably too much for breakfast, one will be enough for the next time. This is a good choice for commuters as it is perfectly self contained, and packaged for easy access if you plan on eating and driving. No one's more surprised at this review than me. I went in expecting the usual 75 permutations of their stock 7 or 8 ingredients, but found a great surprise: a "Power Bowl" that was basically like getting the ingredients of a 7 layer burrito made with beef in a bowl. It was really good and actually relatively nutritious for a fast food place. Let's take a look at two words side by side, shall we? Beef and bean. Now, maybe my english is a little rusty or maybe I need a new prescription for my glasses because I have this notion that these two are, in fact, two separate things. I do recall explicitly asking for a beef burrito. Beef comes from a cow, beans come from the earth, two very different things. I took a bite and I don't know about you guys but that bean concoction is disgusting and there's always way too much for no reason. I looked forward to biting into a juicy beef burrito but they pulled the old trojan horse on me and swapped it out with that thick, flavorless paste that they call "beans". This is my local taco bell I go to once a week and the staff is usually fast,nice and helpful. They would get 4-5 star review. Lately there's been different people there who aren't good. Tonight I was trying to place my order and a guy kept saying,"hold a second hold on a second",on the speaker while there was lady on there already taking my order so they kept talking over each other. She said drive around and never gave me my total. The lady in front of me in line drive away screaming out her window,"YOU'RE WELCOME!", to the staff. When I got to the window no one said a a word to me at the window, the lady just held her hand out for payment. They seemed so hostile for no reason. I said,"have a nice night", after I got my order and still nothing. When I open my order I see there was sour cream on my burrito which I asked for none, and they forgot the cheese for the nacho fries. I hope these people were just new and overwhelmed because wow. I've traveled all over country every year and NEVER had to pay extra to substitute black beans for refried beans!!! To top it off I picked from vegetarian menu and refried beans are NOT vegetarian!!! I Ordered a beefy 5 layer burrito no sour cream. chicken queserito with no sour cream and extra nacho cheese. and 2 bean and cheese burritos. Every single time I come here the order is wrong so I knew better than to drive away. Sometimes theres missing items but usually they're just incorrectly made. the queserito came and i unwrapped it at the window, of course the cheese came outside of the tortilla just poured over the top of the burrito. so I send that back in the window. the lady offers to make me another. I say ok, while they make it I continue checking the other items in my order. the beefy five layer burrito came out no sour cream(yay they did their job) but had lettuce on it(never been one of the five layers). she hands me the new queserito and i hand her the 5-layer. she offers to make a new 5-layer. I say no I went through the drive through because i didn't want to spend 20 minutes here. I get home.. the new chicken quesorito is a beef queserito and doesn't have extra cheese. the bean and cheese burrito has rice. coorporate should be handling this and put a bigger emphasis on getting peoples orders right. We're big fans of Taco Bell but have just had 2 terrible experiences here in the last 2 weeks. First time, our order was messed up, and after ordering but before receiving our food, a large cockroach crawled out along the bottom of the front counter. (We stepped on it because somebody had to do something.) It took 3 tries for them to get our order right. The second time, it wasn't until we pulled up in front of the place that I remembered what a bad experience we had the prior time. But we were already there so we went in. I noticed that my shoes were sticking badly to the visibly filthy floor (like a really sticky movie theater floor). This time they tried to give us an even more random selection of food than the prior time. We got extra things that we hadn't ordered, but we didn't get what we did order, and yes, they definitely thought this was our order - we weren't taking another family's order because there wasn't anyone else around at this point. I asked them to fix it. It came out wrong again. While I was trying to explain to yet another person behind the counter what we actually ordered, he took my receipt and balled it up into a tiny ball. I don't recall another time when I've walked away from $20 worth of food but we walked right out and went to the Burger King next door. You know the service has to be bad when your hungry teenagers are willing to leave the restaurant without their food. One of my kids has a food service job herself, so we're sympathetic to food service workers, but we can't deal with all the downsides this place has. We'll stick to the East Windsor Taco Bell where our order usually comes out correct. read more
