This Taco Bell is amazing. The food is always fresh, today is was #8 supreme with lg Serbia mist. Wait. It's always #8... The drink was awesomely fresh - so good! HOWEVER, my review will cover the young lady handling the drive thru orders. Have you (readers) ever gotten an instant feeling of a person that you had to give that person advice? I get it alllll the time. Well having to placed my order this this person, out of the blue I told her to give her job experience here at Taco Bell a few more months and start looking for a better job... Used to eat alot of TB back in the day. Just recently re-discovered their food on the LV strip, corner of Planet Hollywood. Especially the $5.00 boxes. So, we've come to this location about 5 times and we've never had an issue with the order, the wait, the staff or the food! The $5.00 deals are one of the few value meals you can find at your fave fast food. We hope this deal continues for long time as it is worth it for the amount of food you get plus a drink. My typical experiences with Taco Bell restaurants is pretty crappy service and food but this specific location was an exception. They were extremely nice and friendly! I had substitutions to my order and they had no problem with that. Not only did the food come super fast but my order came out exactly how I asked for it. I was sitting in my car for 10 minutes now I finally went to the speaker and gave her order but then after we went to go get our food that we checked our food before we left and they gave us the food that we were missing what we thought we were missing and we pulled over like we park somewhere and we checked our food and we were missing food and then we went to the window again and then they didn't give us the correct amount of food that we were supposed to get but we didn't know that we thought we thought that they gave us the correct amount and when we got home they didn't give us our two chicken Chalupa's. I'm vegan, I make my orders EXTREMELY clear as when I do I substitute the meat with beans, never an issue, and no cheese or sour cream. For some reason, the Taco Bell employees cannot process that they don't need to put cheese. Had to redo my food TWO times because they kept adding extra cheese it seemed like. It was a bean taco, literally lettuce beans and tomatoes. This is 3rd time in a row it's happened, receipt it correct it's the cooks. I've worked fast food, I know how it is, no excuse. Read the damn signs, you don't why I can't have cheese, even being vegan, I could have intolerance and get serious stomach issues. Pay attention more. This is the closet location to my house and sadly, I will not be returning to ANY Taco Bell anymore. read more

This taco bell is the most reliable one in manteca! Been here lots of times, always have got my order right, which is amazing for a drive thru! I read some reviews below and I think its sad that some say all the employees are bad based on one employee. They do have some pretty young people here that probably have not gained enough customer service experience that they might get, say in next several years, and they do seem to have a large turn around of employees, which is normal, sadly, for these types of jobs because the employees don't get time for real great experience. Still, a guy named Austen was very polite and made sure my experience was pleasant with a smile too! Which he has before when I came, with a few others. They do really good at customizing my order too!! read more

Honestly, how hard is it to understand that I want BEEF, not CHICKEN? Somehow, CHICKEN ended up in my order. My husband brought it back, then the supervisor was called because the kid that took our order couldn't open the register yp refund us the difference and give me a CHICKEN gordita crunch. I said forget it, just give me the gordita crunch. Awesome, the register opened and I got my food. Oh, but wait! The change is wrong. Who cares....10 cents to e-a-t my food. But, they forgot the cheese. I sat and ate angrily, realizing that customer service and common sense are a lost art. Yikes! And the kid at the front?? He's been there 6 months. So it's a Taco Bell, we've all been to one, but what sets this one apart is that it's new and clean. The dining room is on the small side, but the decor is modern. They've only been open about a month now, but the staff seems pleasent and polite. My favorite Taco Bell items are the Nachos Bell Grande, and the Bean & Cheese Burrito. Their nachos are always full, and cheesy. Ordering extra red sauce on my bean burrito (they charge $.10 cents for now) is standard for me. Usually, at most TB's I get a dry burrito and have to have them remake, this location gets it perfect! Of the 4 locations in this area, I am now putting this one as The Best! Keep it up TB. I was beyond excited when they decided to open a closer Taco Bell to my house. The others are on the opposite end of town. I noticed this Taco Bell has much younger and friendlier staff compared to the other locations in Manteca. I have never had a bad experience here- I probably come here at least once a week. Literally one star because I can't do less. The employee made rude remarks such as "I never had an order so complicated" over having one tostada with no sauce or cheese and added beef. Last night, I was hungry and hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. Sometime between 730/8pm, I decided on Taco Bell since they have veggies in their food and it had been a LONG time since I had eaten from there. Love the fact that they opened one up at that location too. My FAVORITE item to get from Taco Bell is their chalupas!! Yum! I placed my drive-thru order of two Chalupas and a crunchy taco with an extremely friendly (in a cheerful, helpful, and patient sort of way) lady. As soon as I pulled up to the window to pay, out comes my order ready to go...just like that. It was so quick that I even forgot about getting my receipt. I was surprised and impressed, but I should've known better. So when I go to eat my food, I grab the crunchy taco - my kid says it tastes great! Then I reach in for my two chalupas, but uh-oh, it feels like two more crunchy taco! I went to Taco Bell for my Chalupa! I check it real quick, and it IS a Chalupa! A HARD Chalupa x2! I couldn't eat it. It was so disappointing. The "shell" had a crunchy yet rubbery texture, as if they had fried it crispy like a crunchy taco, then it cooled off from sitting there waiting to be ordered, and so they had to warm it up in the microwave before serving. Ugh...$7.45 later...BUST. Unfortunately, I didn't get a receipt so I can't give props to the chick at the window, and unfortunately, I came for the food (mainly the chalupas), not the friendliness. I wouldn't eat here again. EVERYONE who works at the Daniels Street location should taste a chalupa from ANY other Taco Bell near them, and compare it to what they are serving. It'll be SHOCKING!!!!
