Cute place in a shopping area, the outside doesn't match the cute indoor decorations. As I entered…read morethe restaurant a young lady greeted me, she took my order and clarify some items on the menu were no longer available. Went ahead and ordered their "mi bandera dish" which had three enchiladas, one chicken, cheese, beef. The red sauce was a bit bitter but their green sauce was delicious. I order one chile relleno and she asked what type of meat I wanted, I was puzzled since chille rellenos don't usually come with meat. It turns out it's an open chile with cheese and meat, interesting delivery but I prefer the original, cheese only with caldo. The queso had a bit of a spicy kick and it came with a big bag of chips. They only offer one type of salsa, mild and red. When I asked for anything spicier they pointed to bottled Cholula.

Where do I start...Well let me first say, it takes a lot for me to give out a 1 star review. I HATE…read moregiving out a 1 star unless its well deserved. The service was good, staff were nice but the food wasn't very good. Even with the service and staff being nice this could have been way better. Food wise? I got a burrito that was very poorly constructed and did not taste good. The chicken tasted like it came out of a kitchen sink with dish soap on it...no idea why, but it was not good. Shrimp was so so. We also ordered the chips and queso. Mistake. Came out looking very un-appetizing and tasted not good. Barely any queso or cheese on it and overall piss poor quality. Like other users posted, I WANT to like this place!!! The staff are nice and could be great! Its really not adding up because I drive by multiple times a week and there is NEVER anyone here and yet they remain in business. I am not one to throw around 1-2 star reviews often but this one is unfortunately well deserved. I'm sorry Mi Rancho, I dont think I will be coming back any time soon. I wish you well if you're reading this but I'm hopeful you can make the necessary changes.

Met a friend for dinner here based on her recommendation. Our waitress arrived quickly and took our…read moredrink order. Drinks arrived as did the complimentary chips and salsa. They were very bright colorful and tasty. Not too think and not too thin. She ordered the mixed fajitas- sliced beef and chicken with bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. They were served with guacamole salad, sour cream, rice, beans, and 2 tortillas. She got her choice of corn or flour tortillas. I had the Taco Salad Bowl - a Fried tortilla shell filled with ground beef beans, cheese sauce, and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. As we ate our chips and salsa the restaurant filled up and 8-9 tables were filled. Our waitress was the only one serving but handled it well. I would have liked some more chips and salsa but also did not ask. Our food didn't take too long though. The fajitas sizzled and filled the tortilla shells with plenty leftover. My taco salad tortilla shell was the perfect mix of crisp enough to contain my salad yet soft enough to enjoy as I ate the bowl. My friend went home with leftovers but i didn't. It was the perfect portion. The fajitas are so sizzling that as our waitress brought out an armful of three to a table it set off the fire alarm. No worries though! We were able to keep eating and enjoy this little restaurant. Alcoholic beverages are available but we didn't try those. You can also pay using a QR code on the receipt via your phone. All in all it was a great meal and we appreciated our waitress for keeping up and having a great attitude.

Waiter did circle back around quickly and I informed him there was something really off, he grabbed the plate and offered if I would like any thing else and I declined. I did not receive an apology or a good feeling as it felt like the waiter has had this happen before. Will not be returning to the East Syracuse location.

Each item was $18-$21 a piece as well, which is extremely expensive for what we received. If I got a $10 burrito and it was as boring as this, it'd be fine. But $18 for what we received is ridiculous. Was it bad? Not necessarily. Will I ever go back? Definitely not. Also, they don't even give you chips and salsa.

Once I find something I enjoy, I tend to stick to that particular meal. For me, those items are the loaded nachos, which is an appetizer, but definitely huge and filling enough to order as a meal if desired. Next up is their adobo pork quesadilla. I absolutely love their adobo pork! It's always so full of flavor, and the pork is never overcooked or dried out. It's simply delicious, in my opinion. My husband enjoyed their Diablo burrito, which is HUGE!!! It's definitely a sharable meal. The customer service is always top notch, and the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. They offer outdoor, bar, and dining room seating. If you have a large group, I would definitely suggest making a reservation first as their dining room is not extremely large. They also offer a private dining room for smaller parties that can be reserved in advance. I can honestly say that this restaurant has THE BEST adobo pork I have had to date in our area. Whatever their secret is, I hope they never change it. They're fantastic!
