I'm actually a Taco Bell fan, but this is the most worst one I have ever been to. Food was not great and even more frustrating was that they charged us for a frozen drink we ordered on the app (along with $30 of other food), but didn't have it. We asked to remove the item and they would not remove the item from order. We asked to cancel the order, but they said we can't that we were already charged. We asked for a refund on the item, they would not do that. We ended up paying nearly $3 for a small Mountain Dew. We tried contacting the main company a week ago and have yet to hear back. I've eaten Taco Bell for 30 something years and will never return after interaction with this store. If you insist on going, absolutely do not use the app. read more

Absolutely horrible service! After the 45 minute wait, I got to order and the lady added a Naco Belle Grande to my order. I asked her to remove it. She gave me a line about the item was removed from my order but the screen didn't update. Another 25 minutes later, I got my food and the NacoBelle Grande was still in my order. This is, without a doubt, the worst run establishment in Manhattan. Even before COVID, it was poorly run. Since COVID, its unbearable. They closed the lobby and only accept drive thru orders, which they generally screw up at least one thing in the order. This morning I used the app to order a free breakfast crunch wrap as part of their Tuesday promotion as well as some other items. When I got to the store, there was a Tesla in the drive thru not moving. After 5 minutes, I drove around to the side and went up to the window. There was a frazzled employee who said everyone else called in and he was trying to prep the food, but it would not be ready for 30 minutes. So, I wound up going to Sonic instead. I had already paid for my food at Taco Bell and I don't see any way to get a refund in the app. In the past, they have run out of taco shells (So, I guess they should change their name to just Bell), run out of drinks, run out of sauce packets and most times there are either not enough employees or the ones they had were goofing off instead of making food. There does not seem to be a manager or anyone in charge on site. The poor kid this morning deserves a raise and a promotion to manager. At least he takes his job seriously. read more

Time and time again Taco Bell only gives me half of my order. Without a doubt there is ALWAYS something missing. I work in fast food so I'm sympathetic to an extent, are you just not reading the orders or checking to make sure everything's in the bag???? Ridiculous. I order here through DoorDash. I don't know whether the workers don't care or whether they're illiterate, but they ducked up my order. I don't eat beef to to religious reasons and always substitute it for chicken. They need to pay attention when an order comes through. read more

I'm a vegetarian and I ordered my typical vegetarian order that I've been ordering for years. When I got my food and started taking a bite I realized there was meat in there. I'm beyond pissed off by the lack of attention employees make when it's not even busy and the disrespect. I've been coming here for YEARS now I refuse to go back. Ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait in the drive thru. When I got there the doors were locked. Tried to call, no answer. Walked to drive thru window as there was a huge line of cars. I was told that they only had 2 employees and to wait in my car and they would bring my order out. I confess that I was pretty snippy but nearly 10 minutes later when the employee brought out my order, I apologized. She cut me off, stating again that they only had 2 employees and turned around before I could say anything else. I was trying but she was incredibly rude. I understand being understaffed but there's no reason to be rude. Also, my food was completely cold, greasy (so much so that the tacos fell apart) and cracked shells. I've had a lot of issues with this location over the years but it's the one closest to me, so I go anyway. I will not do that in the future. Do NOT waste your time. Go to the one on Limey by Walmart. This Taco Bell is one of the most inconsistent Taco Bell's I've ever been to. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. They are randomly closed sometimes for no reason. The last two times I've tried to go there they have had a 30 minute wait with only two cars in front of me. The other time they only were allowing mobile orders and Uber eats orders. We were not informed of this until we got to the menu. It is so frustrating how inconsistent they are. read more

This Taco Bell always gets my order right. The employees are always kind and considerate. They even give me a lot of sauce when I ask for it. Myself and four friends pulled into the drive thru line on Sunday evening, placing our order on the Taco Bell app. We consolidated everything on one order to simplify the process, as the local establishment was very busy, as we had expected. When we spoke to the drive through attendant, I told him we had made an online order and he confirmed the contents of our order. Then we pulled up to the second window to receive our order. Our order was quite large, 18 items in total, worth about $35 per-tax. To date, this is my largest Taco Bell order, and I don't expect to make a larger Taco Bell order anytime in the future. But I digress...when we pulled up to the drive thru window where we were instructed to pick up our food, the attendant told us it would be a few minutes because we had placed an "enormously huge" order. This was ok, I was aware that we had indeed placed quite a large order. But surely on a Sunday night in Manhattan, when on campus dining is closed, Taco Bell, as well as any other local dinery expect to have significantly more business than usual. A few minutes later, the man gave us a surprisingly small bag (still a large bag, mind you) considering the size of our order. So I waited, expecting another bag to come out. He then opened the window back up and asked if we were waiting for anything else. I confirmed that our entire order, along with the receipt was in the bag. At that point, the attendant said that was correct and promptly closed the window. When we arrived back home, we found our order was missing two quesaritos, two shredded chicken quesadilla melts, two Doritos locos tacos, and a crunchy taco. Nor had we received any sauce packets that we had requested on the mobile app. Hmmm that's odd, I thought the bag seemed a little small. I called and told them we missed a few items and they said we could stop back and sort it out. So I drove back and waited in the drive through line again, which was still quite long. A few cars before it was my turn, I noticed people pulling away. When I pulled up, I was told they were closing for the evening (at 7:30pm) because they were short staffed and couldn't handle the rush. Welp, there goes my hopes for my quesarito and a refund. I felt bad for the employees; they seemed stressed out and were clearly not in a good mood. It isn't their fault, but I was sincerely disappointed. From now on, I will be visiting the East side establishment exclusively. read more

I just went to the drive-thru and ordered a flatbread box. When I received it, I came directly home. It was not in a box, it was a bag. Not a big deal. No napkins, no hot sauce. I had wanted the steak flatbread and received chicken, which was cold and the flatbread was, in reality, the chalupa shell. The taco shell was in little pieces, which made it hard to eat. The burrito was cold. Oh, and I never received a receipt. Now I definitely have a recommendation--- stay far away from this place! read more

Stopped in to the location on Saturday morning. The lone employee was leaning over the register at the drive through...sleeping. I had to say, very loudly, "excuse me!" and she woke with a start. Like most every other visit the menu signs were still the dinner menu. This evening, I stopped in and there was a lobby full of people standing around and at least seven cars in the drive thru. I asked and everyone had already ordered. An employee stepped to the counter and announced the wait for food was 10-30 minutes because they were understaffed and had a lot of orders to fill. I left. I simply don't understand why this store is so badly managed all the time. I've been writing critiques on here for nearly a year. Its only gotten worse. I used to think it was just lazy employees, but its becoming apparent its incompetent and/or poor management. A regional manager needs to take charge of this location. I love Taco Bell, but the bad service is going to force me to drive across town to the other location or to Fuzzy's. read more

I've been to this location twice in the last 5 days and both trips have been very unpleasant. There was some beef going down between two employees, one of which was being extremely loud. All the while, the employee at the cash register clearly didn't understand how to operate it quite yet, and I assumed he was a new employee. Regardless, it took 10 minutes to take the orders of me and my three friends, and none of the other employees provided any assistance to this poor guy at the register because they were consumed in their personal feud. The lobby was filthy, and it was frankly just a terrible environment to eat at. Then, my second trip brought a 15 minute wait for my single meal when nobody else was in the store. I've worked in food and it was very poor customer service all around the board. Changes need to be made. read more

Ordered 4 Chicken soft taco's supreme, total was $10.72, when I received my food they were not soft tacos. I went back to the window and told the lady, when they returned with another bag of tacos, they were soft taco's but not supreme, no tomatoes, no sour creme. So I go there with a few of my buddies to get the cheesy double beefs (the best burrito ever) that are back. I order a couple first then my buddy behind me says he wants the same order as me. So when I get home to sit down and cherish this burrito, in my first bite I can tell something's wrong. It's no cheesy double beef! It's a f'n beefy crunch crap burrito. All the trash cans outside are overflowing, there's trash all over the parking lot, we waited 15 min in the drive thru for food for two people (they were not busy at all).
