I was the person that had to call the law because I ordered with the app for pickup in store and my food was on the counter but was told I had to go to the drive through to pick it up. so I broke in line and walked to the window but they refused to give me my food because I was not in a vehicle. at that time I ask for my food or money and she went crazy and said she was going to beat my ass then she tried to slap me. I ask the police officer for the manager name so I could call corporate and report her. If you are going to have an app to order with you need to make sure you can pick your food up when you get there and not have the dining room closed at 7:30 pm. if you want Taco Bell go to the one in Birmingham they are alway good! read more

Taco Bell is one of our favorite fast food spots but the Leeds, AL location is terrible. Most times the drive thru moves at a snail's pace so we end up leaving and going somewhere else. No dine in or pick up, drive through only and line is constantly out to the street. After reading these reviews I was very skeptical about coming to this location. The line was wrapped around the building. But hey I didn't mind because it gave me time to decide what I wanted to eat lol. When I got to the speaker the gentle was very polite and didn't mind answering my questions. I ordered the Nacho fries box, which came with 5-layer burrito, hard shell taco, fries and a drink. Also a Power steak burrito. Omg, the fries had good flavor even warm. I can't wait to get some fresh ones. And when you dip them in the cheese sauce it was wonderful. Both burritos were made neatly and tasted very good. The taco was good also. The fountain drink Pepsi was good, it wasn't flat or anything. Next time I'll be getting fresh fries and a nacho supreme. Horrible experience. I just got off a twelve hour shift (as a line cook). Was absolutely starving. The only thing open was taco bell. Not only is it raining hard, its lightning and thundering like crazy. I finally get to the drive threw. The lady couldn't hear my order so I had to yell it back twice. Then what I ordered was currently out(?). I was asked if I wanted any sauce. I said yes diablo. I got to the window with rain just pouring into my car. The lady takes my card runs it then throws it in my bag and says everything's in the bag.. I ordered a quesadilla and a cheezy gordita crunch. The only thing in my bag was the taco. She told me I didn't order a quesadilla. It was storming so hard I told her forget it and drove off.. Well, I get home, and there's no sauce in the bag! Had to order a new item and go back up there and pick it up. I told the 2 employees at the window about this and all they said was sorry. This is probably the worst Taco Bell out of hundreds we have stopped at. Let me just say they were friendly enough, but they may have had 1 other customer at the time and all we ordered was a few tacos and a burrito. It took forever for them to process the order and when we got it, it was clear no one knew how to make or wrap anything. It was ridiculous, then the order was all messed up and had to be re-done. AWFUL customer service. Never have I heard of shutting down the lobby of a restaurant for being short staffed. Even in my Taco Bell experience we NEVER closed the lobby due to lack of staffing. A worker was sitting out on his car in the parking lot rather than being inside working helping with the "shot staffing situation". My expectations were pretty low based on other reviews. When we arrived there was a line around the building for the drive thru. I thought it was going to take forever. THEY WERE AMAZING! Even with 10-15 cars in front of us (and that many behind us by the time we left) we sat one line, ordered and had our food in less than 10 minutes. The staff member taking our order was professional, repeated our order back to us. When we arrived at the window a short time later, they quickly took payment and had our order ready. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly. They brought our food and placed it on a tray so we could accept the food in a contactless manner. Our order was correct (even with a sub on three items). Food was good (burrito, tacos, chalupas, tostada, side of black beans- which are surprisingly good if you haven't ever gotten them at Taco Bell). Refried beans could have been a little more fresh (thick like they had been sitting for a bit), but still hot and tasted good. I'll definitely return when I'm on the Leeds side of town.
