Service was friendly and the vibe felt relaxed and local, which I always appreciate when trying a neighborhood taco spot. They also have a salsa bar with around 6 different salsa heat levels, and chopped radish. This is an easy 4.5 out of 5 stars for me, and I'd absolutely come back again to move it to 5 stars.

The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. A sign also says that they now offer breakfast burritos all day. Sitting at a table next to us was someone raving about his tamale (he told me they have added a new one to the menu and it is the best- $2 each, blue sign on the window).
