Staff was rude. Refused to refund an order even though I had been waiting over an hour for the food.

Placed my order on the app and drove over. When I got there the drive thru was closed. I had to go inside. I was told the company working on their drive thru equipment showed up at 11am. Right when lunch time starts. I let them know I had a mobile order. While waiting other peoole came in to place an order. They will not take any order at the counter. You have to use the kiosk to place and pay for your order. One customer was mad and said "screw it I'm not doing your job" and she left. It is sort of ridiculous they can't or won't take orders at the counter. But this makes one less job position taco bell has to pay for. Even with the drive thru closed and the kiosk I had friendly service and the staff was apologetic about the drive thru. Food was good and made correctly. Also got a coupon for a free taco. read more

The service is sooo slow. Was here within 5 minutes after my 30 minute lunch break started. I put in a mobile order while waiting in line in the hopes it would be faster. There was 3 cars ahead of me. My order was in as I made it to the speaker box and they said I had to go through the line again. It's now been 20 minutes and just got my order. I will make it to work as my lunch break ends. Cooler read more

food was cold i went around to get fresh nacho fries not knowing that all my food was not fresh, could easily tell its been sitting for 15+ mins and its 1 am, no busy line what so ever so i didn't understand why any of me and my girlfriends food was not fresh. My chalupa shell was more brick than i get on a tuesday morning i was confused on why it was so freaking solid im not sure if they froze it or what. you're better off going to taco bell on 56th. read more

Fast food is fast food. I know what I'm getting into when I go but omg... this is literally the WORST Taco Bell in Indianapolis.... slow service IF you get service... no toilet paper in bathroom and just sloppy. Never come here.... I'm all about 2nd or 3 rd chances but I've been coming here because it's close to my work and every experience is the same. Don't waste your time or money... drive the extra five minutes to the one on Michigan Rd. read more

Taco Bell - Spicy tostada?! Could have at least put it on the shell - Fast Food Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

It was just okay Taco Bell is Taco Bell basically wherever you go (except the ones I've been to in Guatemala and Mexico) I went to this Taco Bell on 86th Street used the drive-through which I seldomly ever do I ordered a taco bowl, tostada and two 7-Layer burritos it was ready quickly and was handed over to me by a very friendly cheerful lady I was out of there quickly but when I got to my destination I opened the bag and found 2 cheese & bean burritos NO 7-Layer burritos and the cheese was that gross nacho goopy stuff! My taco bowl and the tostada were pretty good though. On another note TACO BELL'S here (Indianapolis) do not have green sauce like the ones on the Ca. West Coast out there you can order any menu item and add green sauce here it's not an option. I continue to use Taco bells for the convenience and that you know what you usually are supposed to get and I do check the bag now before leaving when using the drive-thru. read more

I know pulling up at the end of the night isn't the coolest (I honestly had thought it was open later) but to let us know "you have two and a half minutes" isn't the best way to start off an order taking process, joking or not, then confused me and my girlfriend with people who evidently frequent there a lot. Idk not professional, as a fast food worker myself I'd never say that in the drive thru. (Some older man with a fake polite tone) read more

So.. No matter if you can read or not.. Or even if you are half blind do expect to be served at the register. They make you use the kiosk to order. ONE kiosk to rule them all! Asked if I can order at the counter and was told nope. Just stupid this way.. 5 people waiting to use on kiosk. Definitely not fast food any more read more

the lady would not take my order at the front desk they made me use the kiosk because they are lazy and not doing there job. and i got a drink and tried to get root beer and cherry pepsi and they both taste like shit. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER COMING TO THIS TACO BELL read more

They gave me the wrong order tonight and I didn't like it I went back to work hungry won't be back

This location has been bothersome to say the least it's never busy but always takes for ever if you get helped at all. I don't recommend goin to this location. I've pulled away from drive thru twice do to lack of help and they never seem to be "fast" food.... this location may be closing or something. read more

Been coming to this location about once a week for lunch for more than 10 years. It used to have great service and a consistent staff who I knew by name. Something changed a few years ago and the place started going down hill. Staff would turn over very frequently, every week was someone new. This past summer it hit rock bottom, at least three times we arrived to find the dining room closed at lunch time because of being short staffed. The last time not even a note on the door, the person inside could see us but ignored us at the door. The last time I was there the Diet Mountain Dew fountain was still broke after weeks of not working, don't think anyone cares. Finally went to the one at 86th and Michigan, so much better, clean, good service, friendly staff. I won't be coming back to this one. read more

This location is poorly run and avoid it. I've tried to eat here several times which all ended up with me leaving without food. One visit the drive thru didn't move for 15 minutes, so I decided to park and walk in (during lunch time). I was greeted with a note on the door that stated to only use the drive thru. There were other people that couldn't use the drive thru due to their work trucks being too big. In those 20 seconds of waking to the door, I saw about 7 customers leaving because of the dining room being closed. The last visit, when I got into the drive thru they stated that they don't accept cash. I can only use credit cards. This seems fishy and I made them repeat it and they wouldn't give me a reason for it. I've seen this at other venues where the owners don't trust the employees with cash (theft). Now if that is the case, why should I trust them with my credit/debit card? This is a HUGE red flag, so I ditched. Other review sites have indicated that this is a continuing issue at this location. Do yourself a favor. If you have a Taco Bell need, drive east on 86th, to the other location about 1.5 miles away. Never had an issue there. read more

Where to begin with this trash establishment. To start I just want to say that I expect very little from Taco Bell in general and yet I was still disappointed. The guy running the drive through managed to put EVERYTHING IN THE BAG UPSIDE DOWN, this included nachos. the bag was a giant inedible mess by the time I got home. There are stains on my carseat from where the meat and sauce leaked through. Moreover, I was asked if I wanted hot sauce both on the app where I placed my order and by the drive through employee and yet I still got none. And just to add insult to injury, the dude had his mask down chin diaper style. Avoid this taco bell at all costs. read more

This place is garbage!! At least once a week they're conveniently out of everything you want to order. Always ground beef and chalupas etc. The worst cinnamon twist I've ever had tasted like plastic burnt plastic. They always uo charge you too if they're out of food and there's nothing else to put in it. It's ridiculous. I will not be returning. I haven't gotten return phone Calls not even when I put it on their web surveys they always ask you to fill out. Stay away! read more

Decent for a Taco Bell. Service was friendly and helpful. They asked what sauces I wanted. My bean burrito was kind of dry, but that is to be expected. My chicken burrito was good. I didn't experience the dining room, but I'd be willing to try. Plenty of napkins. read more

I would give this Taco Bell 0 stars if I could...terrible service, they never get the order right. The manager is just as rude as the employees. I will not be back at this location, Taco Bell step up your game and hire people that are worth while. read more

10 am No customers Order 1 common breakfast item . Drive through, quick to take form of payment then tell me to pull up and sit for over 5 minutes. Very sad of the quality of the people that work here . The owner should probably clean this place up because it's costing them a lot . Awful service read more

This is the third time I have come to this Taco Bell and they have some reason they won't serve you. This time was "we're in the middle of a shift change." I may not understand all that's involved with that--and perhaps it does take half an hour--but given this is the third time they won't serve a customer for some reason or another I'm leaving one star. Either your business is open to serve customers or it's not. read more

This Taco Bell is the farthest thing from fast food that I have ever seen, I have been standing here in the lobby for 25 minutes waiting for my order. Two chalupas, a soft taco and two rolled chicken tacos. Fortunately I get an hour for lunch but I will have eat back at work now. They definitely need to up theirs service speed during lunch because I am seeing a lot of unhappy faces and customers are turning away at the door based on hearing the wait times from other people held hostage by already paying for their lunch. read more

I love there customer service they were fast and quick and were also respectful . I love it i would recommend for you to eat here !!!!!

This is the slowest Taco Bell on earth. It can take 20 to 30 minutes to get food here. I can drive 2 miles to the next one and get back before I would have gotten food here. read more

I've been a customer here since I moved to Indy 6 years ago. I usually get take-out at least once a month. Burrito Supreme, Mexican pizza, 2 crunchy Tacos Supreme. I'm taking my business to the Taco Bell on 86th by Michigan Rd. from now on. I'm tired of paying for the Burrito Supreme and finding there's no sour cream (4x!) The drive-thru thing is down and no one puts a sign on it to tell you to come in so you sit there at the window and no one comes - except some young chick with a smirk who says the drive-thru is broken. I said, 'you're losing business!' - as all the cars behind me are leaving. Sorry service. Service and quality have really gone down hill. What gives?! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would, the staff there are not sanitary, I went through drive thru and the associate working there was rude, she closed the window and then started talking on her cell phone, I then saw her digging in her nose and continued to still work without washing her hands, this place is disgusting! read more

Food quality is about the same as any other Taco Bell, and the staff are usually friendly. However, I have had bad luck with order accuracy in the drive-thru. Now I check my order every time after once getting home with a COMPLETELY wrong order, and the manager would do nothing for us. If you screw up, you make it up, and they did not. read more

Stopped into this Taco Bell and experienced EXCELLENT customer service. Julio the manager was the most pleasant and accommodating service professional I have encountered in a long time. I have many years of experience in the service industry and was so impressed that I felt it necessary to post my first Yelp review to accredit the accolades Julio deserves. read more

No slip and fall injured are happening here. The floor seems to be coated with a really effective non-slip substance. Slow service makes up for the glue on the floors. Food was typical toxic bell. read more

This is the THIRD Taco Bell in this city that I have had a horrible experience at this year. Today was the worst.... So I go through the drive thru, the screen that displays your order was black and no one way saying anything, so at first impression, I thought it was shut down. After a few "hellos" I finally received a "wait" from a very seemingly short tempered employee. So I wait FIVE (5) minutes before I am asked for my order. Mind you, there is NO ONE else in the drive thru, parking lot or lobby. And as I wait, the mute button comes off a few times and I hear laughter and yelling chatter in the background. I place my order, go to the window (which is like a 5% tint that you can not see through in the least bit) but I can still head yelling, chatter and laughter. The lady opens the window and tells me to wait again (WTH am I waiting on? There's NO other customers)! After waiting 7 minutes!!! She finally takes my money. The lady who prepared my food comes and tells me she put my requested sour cream to the side because she didn't want it to go on the steamer (mind you I place the same order everytime I go and never had this issue. Sounds like she just forgot) anyway, I told her to fix it. She basically throws everything in the meximelt into a hard flour tortilla (and doesn't steam itand puts sc on it ) and some items were missing. At this point another car is at the window so I decide to go inside. The door was locked (it was 3pm on a Sunday) so I had to walk to the other side to get in. Immediately, I see what the real issue was, the cashier brought her FOUR (4) young children to work (they looked ages 5-9)!!!! They were sitting in the lobby with their coloring books and things spread over the tables (there was absolutely no one else in this restaurant besides the 5 employees and these children (and I saw the cashier come out and talk to them). Thats what all the chatter and yelling was about and why the cashier was so rude. She had to switch from "stern mom" to "cheerful cashier" at a whim and it seems she forgot to switch to "cheerful cashier" and came across as "bi***ful cashier. After waiting another 10 minutes to even tell anyone my order was wrong, and request a refund (I'd had it) some other woman comes and says "oh they're remaking it". I then tell her "no. I want my money. I've been waiting and will go eat elsewhere". So then some guy comes up (manager maybe?) and says he will fix it but "he doesn't like to give money back".... I lost it. I told him "And I don't like when people mess up my food, but yet here we are. Give me my money now". So he's arguing me down (while also getting my refund) and I leave. There was no number on the window but I googled it and called corporate. I told them everything. Truth is, I'd never have called them at all about the babysitting at work had my order just been right. They're incompetent, trifling, and extremely rude and unprofessional. I didn't let them fix my order because I was truly afraid there would be more in my food than food. read more

OMG! We went TWICE today & both times they said it would be 15-20 minutes b/c the beef isn't ready. We gave them 6 freaking hours, and they still didn't have the beef ready. We would have gone somewhere else, but this is the only one that has chili cheese burritos, something my 6 year old LOVES. Apparently it's too difficult for this store to cook food. Weird. Makes no sense. Never plan to go back. read more

We try to visit this Taco Bell location whenever possible. The ingredients seem freshest of all area locations. Service is quick.

If I could give zero stars I would. The absolute worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. Employees are rude and if you come to the store after 10 they are even worse. They have been out of tortillas before, ground beef, steak, you name it. They usually run out of it. Never going here again. read more
