Food cold when received. Need to put a microwave in lobby so customers can heat there food. Got meximelts that the cheese was not even melted. We spent $33.57 on food that was cold. We stopped here hoping for breakfast - It was advertised online and on the Taco Bell sign outside that breakfast is served here - We go inside for the employee to tell us they don't serve it and it's just a universal sign. The girl was polite to the point that you can tell it's sarcasm. Food was decent but the overall environment from the employee was uncomfortable. read more

they're actually really nice, specifically this one woman who is always extremely polite when i come through on day shift. they're always quick and my food is usually nice and hot. i haven't noticed any problems with cleanliness and i usually come in pretty late when you would expect it to be at its worst. anyway, most of the negative reviews seem to be old and i think it's good. read more

So, why write a review of a fast food restaurant? Isn't the food just greasy garbage anyway? Well, oftentimes yes... food quality and taste are mostly predictable from one chain's outlet to the next. But cleanliness varies, service varies, menu offerings vary, and sometimes yes the food quality itself varies. And that brings me to this particular establishment, which serves up both KFC and Taco Bell. First of all, the restaurant was infested by grasshoppers. Living, dead, dying... all were on display. Second, the restaurant was filthy. Tables hand't been cleared, wrappers were on the floor, and then there were those grasshoppers all over the floor. Third, the men's restroom was disgusting, plus the door wouldn't fully close or lock, and would get in a semi-stuck-yet-unlocked in-between state that was very difficult for kids to operate. And fourth, the food (we had KFC) was bad, even by KFC standards. My kids opened their mashed potatoes and just looked at me like "seriously?" I took one look at those "mashed potatoes" and immediately apologized to them. What kid doesn't like mashed potatoes? Well, you put KFC's version in front of them, and you'll turn even the most die-hard mashed potato fan into a hater. So here's the scenario - you left Dallas a bit later in the morning than you had hoped, and when you pulled-in to Gilberto's in Fairfield for lunch, the wait was like half an hour and you're thinking "yo, I just need to eat and get to Houston pronto." That's no excuse for stopping here. Don't panic. Madisonville - with Buc-ee's - is 55 miles further south. You'll be there in 45 minutes, you'll get grab-and-go food, and you'll get to use a clean restroom. Or, you can go one exit north, get a sandwich and fried pie on the run from Coopers, and forgo the clean restroom. But this place? As Rodney Dangerfield would say, "you pray after you eat!" read more

Man. I'm so disappointed in myself for not taking pics when I was there. I should try my hardest to thwart any Yelpers from ever stepping foot into this place. Well, unless you like huge flies hunting for food and your face, dirty tables that haven't been cleaned for God only knows how long, and, well need I say more? If you love all of the above.... They finally remodeled this place to look nice but it wasn't a nice experience at all! We ordered dine in but also had a free taco deal on the mobile app so also ordered that mobile. One of the ladies making the food yelled into the restaurant if we ordered online and said need to order in store, it messes up the system. We tell her that we ordered because the deal was online only but ordered the rest of our food in store. She angrily walked away. The cashier then tried looking up our order but was unable to and only saw them on the order screen. We were sent back to wait. We were talked about the whole time. We never received the mobile order and went to counter to ask and the lady said we already got it. We showed that we didn't and she said that's why we told y'all not to mobile if you're in the store because our system is messed up and we are not receiving orders. We were not told this and Our order was placed before we even got there. There was no sign stating mobile order was not working and many others were ordering mobile and receiving their orders. We ended up walking out without our mobile order because they seemed like they didn't want to do anything. This is the fourth time I've gotten my standard 4 burrito, drive through order and have only been given THREE hot sauce packets! I even nicely asked for extra this sauce packets this time. Their food is only edible if drowned in hot sauce. I don't understand. Is there a corporate directive to only give 3 sauce packets regardless of order size? If (and I do mean IF) I go back I guess I'll cause a delay and a scene because I will empty out my ENTIRE order and COUNT my hot sauce packets before I leave. read more

As my husband and I were traveling from Dallas to Houston we stopped in for a quick lunch. About an hour and a half after we left I received a phone call from my old employer. The manager on duty that day, Tracey, was able to track me down, as I had left my purse in the dining area. Her employee, Camie, was the one to turn it in. I am so grateful for these two women. Not only did they spend the afternoon trying to track me down with just the little information in my purse, but they saved me from a long weekend of phone calls. Not reading the reviews on yelp first we decided to stop at this KFC/Taco Bell. Big Mistake. I saw at least six employees and the food still took over 30 min, so much for this place being a fast food place! Slowest Taco Bell I've ever been to ever! I agree with the other Reviews. Tables are not clean, floors is dirty, Bathroom are disgusting. This whole place is disgusting, if you must eat at a Taco Bell, keep on driving and go to the next one. I can't believe Taco Bell/KFC allows this place to be in business. read more

Disgusting would be an understatement in describing this Taco Bell. It took 25 minutes to get our food. The place was filthy. Tables not cleaned, food on the floor, trash was overflowing, flies buzzing around. Clearly the owner and/or manager clearly don't care because it appears this location has a long history of filth.
