Food was good, but I would have the employees trained better didn't even wrap the buffalo chicken right, they did everything right, except the buffalo chicken taco, not enough sauce, but that's not the worst part, the taco they are good but this is the second time my taco was broken. If it was up to me I would suggest that you taco should have a manager always working with your workers, other than that service was good and food was good.

Slowest Taco Bell we've ever seen. No wonder we're the only ones here! We've been here over a half hour, and still waiting for our order!

A small legit taqueria in the middle of nowhere Tennessee…read more If you're passing through and want a quick bite of something that's not fast food or BBQ, stop here: A real, legit taco joint that feel straight from Northern Mexico. I'm unsure how something this good ended up here, but I'm happy it has. The tongue gorditas were little pockets of flavor; the lengua being done just right. $1 tacos (Tuesday's only) were a treat: the asada, pollo, and pastor being good and filling. Stop on by, the only real Mexican joint in Union City.

After hearing about this elusive grocery store/hole in the wall restaurant from several people, my…read morefriends and I decided to give it a shot and it definitely didn't disappoint! The front of the store is jammed with fresh produce in a small fridge and a wall of assorted baked Mexican pastries. The rest of the storefront was squeezed full of different hot sauces and other snacks and drinks. The back of the place was where the food magic happens. The menu is stupid simple (and I mean this in a good way) I opted for the torta cubana that I've heard so much about and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION. I've never had bread like it---super pillowy and soft. The sandwich was stuffed and overflowing with Al pastor and asada and a questionable hotdog/ham love child. The sandwich was huge and I definitely left with a happy full belly. My friends ordered tacos and apparently there was nothing super special about those...it's probably still worth coming back for $1 taco Tuesday! All in all, give this place a shot if you're into those hole-in-the-wall experiences. You won't he disappointed!

ABSOLUTE SLOP... I gave this restaurant three tries. The…read morefirst two attempts were mediocre at best, but I just got done eating the absolutely ***WORST*** Mexican "cuisine" meal of my life tonight, and trust me, I've eaten more Mexican food out than any other cuisine, stretching the entire United States, and a few in Mexico itself. I ordered al a carte as I typically do (for the variety and to see if they can do multiple dishes well). I received three main course items sloppily placed into a single container drowning in a chili powder and salt heavy sauce such that I could not taste the tortilla or protein...it all tasted like a chili powder salt lick (btw, I am NOT sensitive AT ALL to sodium...I have been home cooking for 3 decades and fully appreciate a well-seasoned dish). This was the worse slop I've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant, and to boot, the meal cost $20 for three al a carte items and a small side of rice. At the counter, I asked for a small side of their spiciest salsa (which I always do) and they up-charged me $2 for a literally a single two ounce serving of what appeared to be their house salsa with a ton of guess what....a handful of chili powder in it. Their prices are absolute highway robbery for the quality of food they are serving, and it's quite obvious that since they are the only Mexican restaurant in this entire county, they are gouging the local Caucasian population that doesn't know any better. At this quality, their prices should be half of what they are, and if that were the case, you still wouldn't find me eating there. You'll get no more chances from me, you low-quality scam artists. Bye and good riddance.

The Mexican Street Rice was next level good. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, but it has a pretty cool vibe and the decor is nice. This is such a cool little spot to get good, hot and fresh food…read more We ordered the Volcano Chicken Tacos and the Veggie Street Rice with shrimp added. The tacos were delicious but the name is misleading. My husband thought it would come drizzled in some kind of spicy sauce given the name, but it was just chicken, cheese and onions. It was still really tasty though. I had the rice and while it was well seasoned, it lacked something else. I think a creamy sauce would knock this dish out of the world. If I ever order it again, I'll be sure to request a cream based sauce, or order a side of sour cream. The service was fast but we also came during a time where they didn't have crowd. If you're dining in, your order will come with a bottle of salsa verde and a bottle of spicy red salsa. Also, the music was great at the time we went, they were playing bachata and it took everything in me not to get up and dance. I'd recommend this place and plan to return. Oakland needs more variety like this little gem.
