The table salsa was very mild but when we requested spicy salsa it did not disappoint! The steak was yummy and the tamale to my surprise is the best authentic tamale I've found in a restaurant. (They covered it in a chili and bean mixture- not authentic but is common practice in the US) The entire staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful!! He was waiting on a table in the same room with a large group of men and he was very attentive to that group. We were done and we needed a to-go box and the check. He came back into this room four different times waiting on the large group but never looked our way. I tried to get his attention on all four times and he would not even look our way. It was about 15 minutes and another customer saw what was going on and he finally got another waiters attention and sent him to us so we could get a box and the check. The other waiter quickly brought a box and finally our waiter came with the check and said something I didn't understand. The resturant was not that full and there was no reason for the non- attention. I spoke with the cashier about the situation and he said that he will talk to him. This is actually a nice place just an unfortunate experience that will keep us from going there again.
