Food was pretty average for a Taco Bell. Fast service at the drive through. Nothing special, nachos were a little cold but pretty normal Taco Bell experience. read more

So after many months of refusing to eat at This Taco Bell I thought give them another chance. Bad Idea. Self serve Pop machine was out of Ice, I told them, nothing was done. Mountain Dew was without syrup, tasted like crap. The 3 tacos were terrible. One of the Cantina chicken tacos was burnt. Both of them we got had hardly NOTHING in them. Was a insult indeed! Same with the other Dorito and Crunchy taco. No ingredients. Nothing for meat and a pinch of cheese and lettuce. Just terrible. This time I will NEVER eat there again and trust me I only do reviews when they are really bad or very good! Or if there is some other reason to do an average review I might do it. Trust me this place sucks! I have given them ample times to impress me and they never have. read more

I drop down to my knees and yell "it's another bean burritoooo!!". 12 bucks for 3 bean burritos and I can't even go get something else. They said they were open online..... we're in fact not open. Very mad and upset. Will not be returning.

Yes, I'm reviewing a Taco Bell. I've not forgotten it's fast food. But there's something to be said when the food is undeniably stale every single time and they can't seem to get orders right to save their life. I once stopped inside since the drive thru was packed. No less than 5 people came in behind me to say they had received incorrect food moments before in the drive thru AND people who were dining in came back to say their food was missing key ingredients or simply too foul to eat. To top it off, the staff are straight up rude. I don't even bother to chance it anymore, I'd rather drive the extra few minutes to the Twixt Town location. TBell is one of my go-to fast food places... just don't go to this one. read more

Very rude, after the app messed my moms order the workers were not fixing it and practically yelling at my mom.

Update - most companies monitor review sites. At LEAST provide a canned answer to all the horrible reviews at this location. They can't even do that. Look at any other business - they monitor and respond to any issues. This franchise/owners are a complete joke. -------------------------- I always go to this thought when reviewing a fast food place. Chick fil et... what are they doing that is so different than most fast food places??! I think I know a couple things - The owner is ALWAYS there! Who is the idiot that runs the show at Taco Bell when they allow a meth lab to be ran in the back?! Corporate / upper management must never frequent the Cedar Rapids Taco Bell's EVER. Pants untucked, showing underwear, sagging, poor attitudes, and thrown together food. Am I expecting gourmet? NO! It's fast food. I do expect the standard to be up there with our local chick fil et though. I can never understand the person on the other end of the drive through. Speak clearly - act like you want to be there. The NW side location appears to be a newer store however the aesthetics of the signage make it look like a dump. When made properly, Taco Bell is decent for a pick me up outside of the 3 am craving. Until whoever is running the show at this franchise is completely removed and refreshed from top to bottom - it's worth the extra drive and couple more dollars to eat real Mexican, chipotle, or pwn read more

This is stike three and the worst of our experiences at this location. Pulled into drive through at 6:30 and waited...no activity after several minutes(not the first time this has happenned). Pulled around and went inside. Maybe three people in the place eating and two in line, one taking forever to order. I order at kiosk and wait. Ten plus minutes later, I get the order, but no drink. Get the cup, go to fill it up...mix comes out light brown and is awful. The food is clearly old and cold when we get it...tortilla burrito is so old it is stiff and crumbling apart. Quesadilla is burnt on one side, half the cheese is out of the other and, again, cold. Total order is three meat only tacos, 1 regular taco, one burrito, two soft chicken tacos and a chicken quesadilla. It is a typical order for us and should only take a few minutes. There were no less than five employees behind the counter and maybe 6 customers helped throughout this nearly 20 minute experience. The woman in charge may be trying hard to get this place to perform, but she is failing miserably and needs support from the franchise owner. Her staff are clueless and rude, with no concept of proper customer service. They have one, very simple, job to do...and they suck at it. The only reason I gave one star verses no stars is that the order was correct, which it should be since I entered it. For context, i worked in fast food and in restaurants all through high school and college. I have high expectations but also a lot of tolerance for situations out of the control of front line staff and I let a lot of stuff slide given that experience. What is going on at this location is unacceptable. If I could get this to the franchise owner or corporate, I would. read more

I don't know why I returned to this restaurant though there's always messed up or there out of something today I got yelled at by the manager because the order wasn't ready when I came to pick it up until that I couldn't come Back if I complained again. read more

Very rude. We ordered food waited to pay at register and they just looked at us and never came to us . Workers had their little kids there running around. not impressed we left and went to a different taco bell across town read more

Don't go here. There is a nice lady who is trying to hold this shit hole together. But she can't do it all. Her crew consists of useless imbecile who can't complete the job. Miss started talking my order. Her voice was crystal clear. For some reason, a younger gentleman finished taking It. I couldn't hear him. He couldn't take my order which had specifics. I turn off my car to hear him mumbling some garbage into the microphone that didn't even resemble proper grammar. I apologized I couldn't hear, I could some more muffled bull shit followed by "mmphh pulphf window" so I pulled to the window. I pulled up to the window which was OPEN and sat there for 5 minutes with no service. The nice lady was working the front. Two (or more) young "men" were in the back talking smack and cracking jokes while they threw the food around in bags. I left. What a joke. read more

I'll never learn. This is the absolute worst Taco Bell location I have ever been to. Every couple of years I forget how terrible this location is and place an order. I placed an online order tonight and went to pick it up. They left me sitting at the drive thru speaker for over 5 minutes. They finally said "go ahead", so I gave the name for the order and pulled around. They handed me my drink and then a scrunched bag of food. I asked the guy at the window if there was a straw in the bag to which he answered "yeah" and walked away. I checked the bag before pulling away and huge surprise, no straw. I honked, knocked on the window, and waved at employees as they walked by the window and ignored me. Finally the guy came back to the window and gave me a straw when I asked. Fast forward to sitting down at home to eat...of course they messed up the order as well. This place sets the bar for incompetence. read more

The marion was closed so I drove 15 minutes the wrong way home because I wanted tacobell that damn bad. The people here said this one was better then the marion one, but the marion one is always fast and has never got my order wrong, once I realized they got my order wrong I hopped back in line and had to wait 20 minutes with only two cars in front of me to get the two tacos they messed up read more

I live for Taco Bell. I have eaten there all my 60 years all over the country. This is the WORST Taco Bell I've ever eaten at. The owner(s) have to be the cheapest owner of them all. They never have employees who stay longer than a week. They still don't have a new sign after the Direcho 2 years ago. Every order I get, something's missing. A taco, a burrito, not minor things. Today I got 2 crunchy tacos that didn't have any or the bare minimum of hamburger. I thought I might get lucky on a simple order. ILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Be warned. read more

We have been in line after 3 cars for 30 minutes. 30 minutes!! It took us 10 minutes after arriving at the window to get 2 orders of nacho fries? Fries are awesome but not worth 30 min of waiting for a 3 min cook item. At least they were warm? How is this place still open? read more

March 29, 2022. Very disappointed in this Taco Bell.. went through the drive through at 9:30pm when they close at 10pm.. nobody would take our order so I called and asked why they weren't taking the order, the lady said we are closed. I said well why does it say you guys close at 10pm then; she stuttered and said we closed at 9pm. Nope I call BS, we drove past and looked in the drive through window as she was just sitting in the back. Ma'am if you were closed I'm sure the lights of the drive through would have been turned off and etc. Talk about a lazy employee, do better! read more

I went in with my friends after a football game and when we sat down to eat some lady (we found out she was one of the workers mom) came in with a puppy in her sweatshirt. Then all of the workers came over to pet it and hold it not to mention the people waiting in the drive thru line. When we left the mom walked out without the puppy (one of the workers was holding it.) we were still hungry but were not going to order more after that! read more

Taco Bell - The worker holding the dog! - Fast Food Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

After reading the news, the guy that worked at the drive-through window also the guy that messed up my order every time. I'm habitual will Taco Bell somehow I'm not overweight I don't know why. They started losing my business when they hired that employee I noticed a sharp turn around right and I really don't feel comfortable about management that would let something like this happen in a restaurant completely unacceptable amazing it was a notice much sooner and at work everyone spoke about that drive-through person went down and how he seemed like he was not right. The newspaper says they're going to reopen after cleaning I for one don't want to eat somewhere where lithium battery acid was used your food products and that such a lapse in management allow this behavior to begin at the very start. This makes me sad for Cedar Rapids because it seems like it's just going downhill read more

This place absolutely sucks. Didn't get anything we ordered instead got nasty shit we didn't want. Pathetic. $30 out the window.

This is Taco Bell for goodness sakes, the McDonalds of American Tex Mex food. I usually get the #2 with steak. The food is not great nor is it bad. The best time to come is at lunch time so you know there is a high turnover of food. I would skip anything that is regular "beef". Get something in chicken or steak. read more

Horrible Service, We payed for two items that were not included and the packaging was poor. I'd stick to Taco Johns.

Just ate there with my hubby and the workers were rude to customers and one esp was throwing stuff and was so "worked up and nervous" she would have to take a breath before she could speak to customers.. Then we wanted cinnabons and a "manager" couldnt get headset to work and it took 6 minutes just for someone to help us and take our order... We are still LOL... Oh my... read more

I do not know why I keep giving this Taco Bell Location a chance... maybe because I like the food, but that would be about all. For starters, there is garbage blowing around the parking lot, you have to wait for counter help and then when they show up they are not helpful at all, not to the point of being rude, but they certainly do not make you feel welcome. From there you look to the kitchen and see two guys leaning against the counter texting when clearly there is plenty to do as the floors in the kitchen look as though they haven't been swept in days! Once my order is received, it looks like the items were thrown on the tray from feet away... and once unwrapped - the actual food looks the same! Absolutely not one care given when prepping the food. I asked for No Lettuce on the Burrito, but that was overlooked too, I am not quite sure why as they were not busy... Myself and two other people were the only ones in the palace. Oh ya, did I mention the dirty tables and garbage overflowing the cans? This place has went downhill fast. On a positive - the food did taste good and as it should have. read more

When tacos are your business, and you can't get that right, might as well close shop! This is the same taco bell that was busted for meth being made in the basement! Management and staff suck, wait times are crazy, and they always mess up the order! I gave this bell many chances, and each time I'm more disappointed in the decision. Don't waste your time here, because you will waste alot of it! Best bet is to go downtown to that taco bell, they do a great job! read more

This Taco Bell is awful. I know you can't expect much from them, but you could at least expect them to get your order right. The last couple of times they've been extremely rude when they have forgotten multiple things that I've ordered. Tonight, there was a long line and they forgot something again. I pulled around and told them, and the lady acted like she didn't believe me. I asked instead of going around the long line again and waiting forever just to get my food, if they could just bring it out to me. She said "Oh no! We can't do that! We have too many customers." You can't just bring one thing out? Horrible customer service. read more

I love Taco Bell, so I gave this one a bunch of chances before writing this review. But honestly it's the worst I've ever seen. About a year ago they were closed down for having the remnants of a meth lab in their basement. You can verify this on Google. I was hoping after that there would be some changes for the better. Unfortunately their service has continued to be terrible. I've had multiple orders messed up. I've waited for 30 minutes to be helped and finally left frustrated with no food. The employees are very often rude and uninterested. I will never go back to this Taco Bell again. read more
