FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! EVEN MY CAT DAVE WOULDNT EAT THIS NASTY BEAN TOCO. the workers were super weird and kept talking dirty to each other RIGHT INFRONT OF ME and always on their phones. Waited 30 mins for my order and still got it wrong because they were in the bathroom smoking and fought it on fire !!!!!!!!!!!! My cat ended up throwing up on tommy (my ex husband) because of that nasty gross bean toco

This place is horrible and disgusting, the workers have no clue what they are doing. You have to wait for about 30 mins just for someone to come to the counter to take your order than it takes them about 30 mins to make a simple order , they are always out of something. Their food is horrible. It's always so dirty in there. There is mold growing on the ceilings

Waiting about 45 minutes to an hour to get our Food mode. Growing on the ceiling water all in the floor. Employees in the parking lot standing around talking while customers are waiting for the food.

Barely any meat.... like a tiny bit

Please shut this Taco Bell down. The lights at night are literally never on, so you don't know if they're open or not and you best not have plans after if you plan on sitting in that line for an hour or more, never fails. I got three tacos with meat and cheese only. I literally got one little speck of meat on each taco. That's it. Literally. $11 for three taco shells is basically what it was.

Fast, nice workers, good quality service and food. Some Taco Bell's skimp you on the amount of food, however, this place did not.

Decided to stop and being our niece and nephew along with our little brother for lunch. We ordered a total of 3 meals with an order of fries and side nachos. The order was placed at 3:19 and wasn't ready until 4. It took almost a whole hour to get our food. All the while others that came in after us left with food. I spoke with the manager who was a fill in from somerset. He legit wasn't doing anything except collecting trays. Mind you it wasn't busy at all. So I don't know why it took so long. I asked for some sort of compensation and he went into a conversation about how he was waiting on the next manager because he's the best one on the register. Making no sense. To say the least I wasn't compensated for anything. Definitely don't recommend coming here.

They can't get their orders right and there's not enough meat, beef or chicken or steak in the serving

The food is the most authentic Mexican I've had since I stopped an hour from Cabo San Lucas at a…read moreroadside eatery. Salsa and chips? Homemade and fresh! Chips were hot. Street tacos, empanadas, quesadillas Tortas, burritos and tamales- I think that is the whole menu. No Tex mex, no chimichangas, no Speedy Gonzalez special- this is more authentic. In fact, the waitress/cashier was the only other person in the building that spoke ANY English- including other patrons. Is this fancy? Nope. Is it clean? Yup. The shrimp street tacos were the best food in our opinion- tied with the chips and salsa. Also had carne asada and chorizo tacos and Burria empanadas and the shrimp was the best. Entire restaurant and bathrooms are handicap accessible, but this place is not right next to parking. It is in a little outdoor mall area, at the back, so you'll need to park and go maybe 100-150 yards to the door. If you need fried ice cream and a mariachi band, you need to stop elsewhere, but if you are looking for good quality, authentic food for a really reasonable price- this is it.

Very different from the West Coast burritos we're used to though.

Stopped in today for lunch and got some amazing authentic Mexican food. I ordered 4 tacos -…read morecarnitas, al pastor and adobada. They were all great but I favored the carnitas. The meat was super tender and tasty. The best part was the sauce they bring out to the table in little squirt bottles. The red sauce was a chipotle flavored salsa and the green was just as amazing, maybe even more so. Prices were really reasonable, $1.75 per taco and other menu items were under $10. The only downside was that it took a little while (about 20 minutes) for it to be made. Of course, that means it was cooked fresh! I can't wait to come back!

The menu is not extensive, tacos, burritos, soup (posole on the weekends) sandwiches, and quesadillas but who needs an extensive menu? We are really here for the tacos, right? So, let's talk about the tacos. I'm a huge fan of tripas (tripe) tacos. Growing up in East Tennessee I would never have imagined myself willingly eating the intestines of any animal but here I am, longing for those delectable morsels of deliciousness on a good tortilla with lime and a fiery green salsa. Taqueria Hidalgo delivers. The tripe tacos (order it cooked crispy) are delicious. The owner tells me they sell a huge amount of the tripe tacos and I see why - each crispy little piece of tripe is an earthy, porky, bite of heaven. Add the standard onions, cilantro, and lime along with some of the homemade green salsa and it's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. For the less advanced taco connoisseurs, they also have chicken, steak, marinated pork, etc. but be aware these are Mexican style street tacos - no cheese and served on soft corn tortillas. I'm so happy we have this family run business in Richmond. It is an asset to the community. Check it out!
